    Leroy Anderson (1908-1975) was an American composer. Musician and conductor of Swedish background. He has been described as "one of the great American masters of light orchestral music”.
    Frederic Curzon (1899-1973) was an English composer, conductor and organist, associated with the theatre, early cinema and light music. He sometimes wrote under the pen names Graham Collett and Harold Ramsay.

    I haven't heard either of these tunes for such a long time and really enjoyed hearing them again.......also, the film footage reminded me of when my mother used to send me to the local greengrocer to buy the fruit and veg. Lovely memories of the 50s. 😊👍

    Everyone looks so smartly dressed for every day activities and very few younger people about...or maybe they're just better attired, not a pair of jeans to be seen.

      Yes, jacket and tie were the norm even for most "working men". There were a lot of French, Italians and a few other nationalities living in and around Soho in those days.
