You are an inspiration, Dr. Capwell.
If they streamed this I’d watch the crap out of it. Screw Sunday night football, SUNDAY NIGHT JOUSTING!
I still say that if Sir J. G Mann and Sir Guy Francis Laking can get honours for their work on arms and armour, we need to campaign to get Capwell on the honours lists someday before he retires from the saddle, so we can have a real Knight in the tilt.
That would be great
That armor is a vision. So beautiful and powerful.
Oh man, that beautiful Italian style harness. Unsurprising that a curator would have such good taste.
I love how the spearheads are split into 3, just to give you the tiniest bit of reduced lethality
That's the way to do it! That's jousting that is. Well done all
A proper athlete! Lets make this an Olympic event!
We want more! Go Tobias!
Go out and have a nice friendly joust on Saturday night. A great way to pass the time.
Interesting fun fact my Uncle Anthony Rogers acted in the 60s movie Camelot along with Richard Harris and many other stars,my Uncle played Sir Dinadan and was killed in a joust with Black Knight.
Thanks for sharing!
As you know, people trained to do this from their childhood. The use of arms and armor was a daily task for them all their lives. I wonder if you could comment on what your experience has taught you about the level of training you have achieved vis a vis theirs.
great, i like it
I thought the "driving" side was on the left
Where can i sign i want to do this to
Why was he kneeling to a wall? What? Afraid to show a cross?
I assume you've never played Castlevania 2
ADOPT ME!!!
Please. Jousting is nothing like the horror of combat
no shit, it's a sport
@@aceshighdueceslow They literally called it like combat. Of course I know it's a sport, that's why I commented.
Shane Adams would beat him without a challenge and this is obviously not American jousting
...
Nah. This is more authentic. Both are long-time jousters so it would be close.
