Thanks for sharing this. This is super helpful. Few questions: 1. The hot water put in the container, was it made of plastic? 2. The inside plate which presses the roti and heats it, what material is it made of, any idea?
The water container is made of high quality thick plastic. I used hot water but do not recommend boiling water. I understand your concern about using hot water in plastic but looking at the quality of plastic, it didn't seem like an issue. The hot plates inside the machine where rolling and roasting takes place are made of metal.
Do you need bajra flour of same brand "ashirwad". I saw some other video where it was mentioned only select flour brands as listed on the machine work.
Haven´t tried it but one can always use a binder like flaxseed meal in Gluten free rotis. Note - Many women are unable to process regular consumption of flaxseed in high amounts.
Hello, we tried making gluten free jawar rotis and it worked for a while till we had half and half gluten free flour and jawar flour but then it just started to fail and was unable to make jawar roti if we don't add gluten free flour. We are trying not to use gluten free flour as the market ones come with gums. I will try this bajra recipe but do you have a jawar version? Also, did the roti came out too crispy, to a point that it was crumbling?
Hi Sameer, I tried Jowar roti with flaxseed meal. It was still crumbly and dry. I plan to try with psyllium husk (and maybe some coconut milk powder to make them soft). Maybe you could try this combo.
Great to hear that you liked the recipe! I will plan the live session soon, keeping different time zones in mind. Let me know which time zone are you located in?

@@RupenderKaur thanks for reply.
Would you try using normal temperature water? Would it still make the bajra roti or no?
What kind of metal is it?
