OMG!! I made this tonight and it was fantastic! I added more Old Bay, because I love Old Bay. I don't do well with fried so I baked mine. I sprayed the top with olive oil and baked them on 425 for 10 minutes....flipped them...then baked another 10 minutes. Delicious. I'm the only vegan in my family, so I ate a couple and froze the rest for later in the week.
So glad you liked them! I usually fry mine so thanks for letting us know that they turn out good baked as well!
Update: I was given an air fryer for my birthday and it has been LIFE CHANGING... LOL ..I'm not even a fried food eater per se...but the crab cakes come out Amazing and I am absolutely addicted to buffalo cauliflower bites. I'll be doing zucchini sticks this weekend.
Now maybe folks can understand how vegan eating can taste so good. Girl we be eating good!!!!! You showed em! 😍😍😍😘

TASHA'D VIDEOS good afternoon. If you dont mind me asking how did you transition from meat? I want to so bad but my family doesnt.
Kelle Denmark it started as a 7 day challenge for me and boyfriend. We started with veggies and seafood for a couple weeks the we cut out the seafood and started incorporating soy products to take the place of meat. And then me personally I started watching animal cruelty videos.i really stared losing my appetite for meat. So now I'm working on getting rid of dairy products. You can do it,you feel a big difference in your health. You're gonna have a lot of people family included discouraging you , but you can do it. I'm doing this as a lifestyle change and you can do. Try it out for a couple days or a weeks and see how it works out for you.

I love your vegan videos because I’m not a cook at all, but your recipes are always so simple and use everyday ingredients that I can actually find at like a walmart! I literally use all of your tips, like how simple you are with your hair care and my hair has been growing in thickness since I’ve been doing what you do! I MADE THIS!!!! I only had white potatoes though, so I used those instead of the rustic, and I added a small amount of diced tomatoes to the guac and it was SOOOO yummy!!! The guac makes it so much better! This is definitely a comfort food. Thanks for sharing!!!

I'm a 2 year transitioning vegan since I don;t eat pork or beef, but I'm never hungry because i'm tired of chicken and turkey and just want to eat good tasting food. My wife and I are from the Eastern Seaboard but now live in Utah. Seeing that we can't get Maryland crab cakes (or blue crabs for that matter) here AND opting for a healthier lifestyle, this is a great solution for both! My wife was surprised at how much the cakes looked loaded with backfin meat, but it is actually the heart of palms and garbanzo beans. Awesome! Can't wait to try it!
