Here's a reason to get the 1st R6 Operators 1. Control Room becomes a dorm 2. One of the only operators who got a tacticool look, we only really got like Mudrock I guess 3. They use guns if you like that 4. Super Limited Ops 5. Collection Purposes

@randomperson4198 If you have Ash, Tachanka, Blitz, and Frost all in the control room at the same time the control room doesn't lose morale at all unless you put aak in as the 5th op I think. So you can put which ever CR buff op in and you will never have change them out. The CR becomes the "5th dorm"
Ash, Frost, Blitz and Tachanka all reduce morale consumption when in the Control Center. Put a 5th operator with no Morale penalties in there and they will all slowly regain Morale. Cue jokes about the Control Center being the 5th dorm.
the main reason you grab her is because of the base skill, once you have all of the team rainbow units from the OG banner + the OG event you never have to replace your command center ever again. its not much but it does save you some clicks in base management every day
I think I'd prefer keeping Mlynar in the control room 24/7 using Fiametta because he makes your entire base consume less morale which probably leads to less clicks over a prolonged period of time.

Still best afk marksman. I guess people evaluate characters based on their peak performance, but lazy gameplay also exist! We need a separate tierlist where operators that require you to press their skill a lot would be down below, and drop-and-forget will earn their rightful place at the top!
Look, I know she's useless, but I need to finally complete my limited operator collection. I had just started about a month before the first run and chose not to roll on her banner at all aside from the freebies. I have never regretted this for gameplay reasons. Even when she was "good", it was rare that having her would have helped (and mostly because I didn't have Exusiai for a while). But especially after getting everyone on the new R6 banner with zero actual rolls, the old R6 gacha ops will be mine.
She was doomed the moment her entire gimmick revolved around a status effect since practically every Boss and Elite Enemy these days has Immunity to any status effect imaginable.
It's a useful gimmick once in a red moon when you want to stun and delete something before it can attack, like the cc Shangshu Trails map, where the blue dragon things were a major problem if you let them attack But she's never worked as a boss killer

Her advantage for wave clearing is that the stuns keep ranged enemies from chipping away your units. Fairly useful for drones and mages, but rather difficult to combine that with actually large clumps of enemies compared to an aoe sniper
Tbh I just rolled Ash simply cuz she’s a limited unit that’ll probably just disappear forever until the next R6 collab in 9 years. I got her pretty easily so nothing lost

I've been enjoying 1P Relays recently and have done most of the Challenge stages of Lucent Arrowhead like so and I'd say Ash is still nice in this niche. She's cheap, her skill comes nearly fully charged, there's a Stun on deployment and Skill Activation and her Dmg is on a small window. That's perfect for what 1P Relays often do, deploy a unit to deal with a wave of an elite and then retreat into the next one. She's still fine against No Def. High HP Elites but unfortunatly I couldn't use her alot this event because the enemies had enough Def. & Res. to make me wanna break Pasta in front of an Italian.
i'm personally at a point where my account is stacked with basically all of the "meta" operators, i have 308 operators total (97.7% of all operators) including ALL Collab operators and other limited operators besides Ash along with a majority of the 6 stars being level 60-90 depending on usage and module level 3, i missed the first banner and i'm personally a collector, so i'm gonna get her because i honestly have no idea if she will EVER come back. I know she isn't meta or super useful right now because most of the boss enemies are stun immune, and i'll still probably use Exu or Chetto over her for marksman sniper purposes, but i'm still pulling regardless. thanks for the vid though.

If nothing else, Tachanka is some kind of goofy dumb fun to use in IS with attack speed buffs. Still not great but hits the "doesn't matter what I use I attack 7 dickillion times and you're dead" threshold anyway.
Kinda yes and no. I found since keen glint is rng on proc she can time things poorly and her skills have a longer cycle time. Ash also has an aoe stun, so she can’t be tripped up by minions. Generally always been satisfied with ash in is3 runs.
Ash most certainly is not useless, she gets a 4s stun on deploy and with every activation of her s2. The only thing she needs is a redeployment reduction like April.
You don’t use r6 squad for a min max base. You intentionally gimp yourself out of a shitton of productivity. It’s totally fine for convenience, but minmax is not the correct term.
Ash has one niche, and that's very short burst with stun using S2, but then her niche got powercrept by every other operator with a stun and also does more damage. So why pull for Ash? Simple, to add a budget 5th dormitory using R6 squad to lock Amiya or Swire in the Control Center forever.
I got Ash on the original banner so I won't be rolling, but it is true that I use Blue Poison if I need a marksman specifically. Her on demand guaranteed instant stun is decent, can hit air and ground with fast auto recovery skill, useful for those dodge enemies from the Abyss hunter event. On her release she wasn't bad, but the whole marksman subtype got a lot weaker when half the decent enemies run around with 700 def.

In an old SSS I managed to stun the hammer knight every time he tried to do the jump attack, but she did no damage at all, needed like 20 cycle as I had no caster left and didn't want to reset.

exu was my first 6 star and ash was my first limited. i ended up never using kroos for anything. sad. heck, i dont think my kroos is max lvl, even after 3 years of playing.
