Coldshot's dramatic reload is because she's old enough to quote Revolver Ocelot's "I love to reload during a battle! There's nothing like the feeling of slamming a long silver bullet into a well greased chamber." speech, every shot.
Coldshot's subclass is good for someone like Chalter to balance for the unholy amount of damage she can dish out. Off skill she is average or below average then on skill she deletes everything. I would expect the 6 star of this subclass would have true damage and global range on skill.
I imagine a 6-star version of the archetype will do what most 6-stars of suboptimal archetypes do: have talents or skills that fix the shortcomings of the archetype. In the case of Hunter archetype, I imagine that either the talent or some of the skills themselves will have the effect of automatically reloading to full upon skill activation.

One thing I should say about Delphine's S1. It's the standard S1 for all Mystic Casters. The way it's intended to use is to pop it when the lane is free for the atk interval reduction to quickly charge all of the shots and be ready for the next wave. It's why the range is reduced, low cooldown and low duration. It's pretty much a unique filler skill for Mystic Casters where usually, they have something better (Iris's S2 sleep, Indigo's S2 Bind, Eben's nuke)
Ho'oleyak's 3rd skill honestly should of been able to hit EVERY tile in her range without dispersing into nothingness, if not at least push the one enemy it hits back some with push force. Because it honestly feels like a stall skill. It'd be something like Dusk's 3rd skill which is for stall and memes with some damage added on. Dusk is a limited operator, but she has a way better stall skill AND more range, so for Ho'oleyak it'd be justified to at least give her a bit more to the skill, dunno why her 3rd skill isn't as great as it looks, because, idk, it's a tornado. 🙃
Yup, all other AoE caster have AoE(unlimited number of target in a single hit of an attack over a small radius) in their skill, and yet her S3 can only hit 3 target despite the tornadoes animation. Like, why?
Calling Poncirus a launch 5* is an insult to launch 5*s. Launch 5*s like liskarm/piliopsis/warfarin were so broken they didn't make 6*variants with their skills. And even some of the DPSes like Red and Franka can even solo patriot with their modules XD

From my experience most player don't even know supah, i looked up the reddit post he showed at the start and the most common reflexion is "who?" Followed by "chill out dude" The post also has negative upvotes. Now if we're talking about tectone or box 2 then yeah these guys are HATED. Supah just isn't don't fall for the main character syndrome, supah is just a content creator with spicier takes than normal.
Genuinely though I agree with almost everything except for Delphine. Yes, I am a Mystic archetype defender, and as a Mystic appreciator, I think Delphine is pretty cool. The poison effect is really neat and gives her a way to soften up enemies for other ops to deal with as she is dealing damage to someone else / already preparing to charge her attack for a different enemy. Honestly she seems more versatile than Ebenholz, since sexy German playboy’s use defaults to either janky crowd control or 1 morbillion damage
every other mystic caster is more versatile than ebenholz (minus modules) because they actually have other utilities or smth (even though they are jank utilities (please make sleep useful))

To Supah if a operator cant handle a lane by themselves they are automatically bad. So what we need for optimum Supah gaming is 12 lanes and 12 cornerstones

On the one who got the Andreana special, I'd say she's fine with that. Someone (I think it was an AH player) said Andrea's inability to target enemies with less than 50% hp is beneficial cuz it makes it so she target other things, therefore not wasting any dps. Dunno if that applies to the second to last op in the video, but I don't see why not.
Yup, andreanna was specializing in one shooting an enemies so its better for her to change her target rather than focusing on low hp enemies. And unlike delphine, she hit extremely hard.
But andreana works because she deals a lot, and I mean a lot of dmg. Meaning to squishier targets she can straight up one shot them, and to beefier ones, she will constantly pump out high dps
Problem with delphine is, the poison damage is until the skill duration ends. It is a different story if it last 30 seconds for each individual stack. Then I can make her camp some spawn point, Or even reliably pair her with a defender or Slow operators. At current position Iris and fully upgraded Indigo, outclass her. She can be something, but that skill wording fails her.
For me Spuria is THE WORST op, she is not satisfied with being bad and actively makes her allies worse. Frostleaf? Verdant? Vigil? At least they are trying their best to be useful Vanilla deserved better and no one can stop me from building Coldshot
@@delirare i think people generally downplay the power of 4th ranged tile the reason why i never though Pozi would replace Schwarz. Too many maps are built with 3-range units in mind, and 4th tile can solve surprising amount of situations (ofc, implying people are not play first-try-burst-reactive-style where they don't plan their units placement)
what part of "stop blocking and heal 4% hp/sec after i die and jump back to full health and all the melee enemies are walking past me" is considered trying your best? the worst part about spuria is that she's harder to get which makes it hurt more compared to 4* and welfare ops.

@@wildfire_ in case of specialist, there are cases when 0 blocks comes to play to let through tough enemies while holding down the rest. For reference, you can check 4* clear of IS-EX-8 (done by ZPKF), where he uses Utage S1 to let big guys through while clearing the rest. 0 block is very niche thingie, but i use it from time to time. as for spuria - buffers are generally "feelsgood" units in the first place, so it's not about how good or bad she is - it's about whether you wanna make her work or not. And taking @Supah argument to extreme - after a year of playing, there isn't much point in building ANY ops, since you probably already have enough ops to deal with anything. So, yet another broken 6* or extremely niche 5* is just a choice of whim
@miakodakot7359 siege is a genuinely neat oeprator as well since her cheap deployment and her s2 and s3 makes her a good source of DP if you don't have cantabile or if you want consistent dps but don't have the dp for the guard you need. Plus as a vanguard, if you are running myrtle in the squad she benefits from the passive heal
The problem with Vigil is mostly the wolf. Watch as your wolf dies from just somewhat a bit strong foes, and see all his skill crippled (except S1, which is still NG eitherway)
and it took over a year for him to get said module and hg had to break module standards just for him to get a good module lol (don't get me wrong, I like ebenholz, it's just that giving him a 3rd module seems like too much to make an operator useful while other ops like mostima don't even have their second module yet.)

Delphine S1 is just indigo S1 Not a better Version of Indigo S1 cause she's a 5* Nope Same Sp Cost Same duration Same Atk interval Same Damage reduction To be fair this skill is worse on Indigo because she can bind someone and then not attack for the rest of the skill. :ceobe confused: According to people in my comments section that respond when I call Indigo S1 worthless dogshit, it's suppose to be used to charge her attacks quickly between enemy waves. If that ever comes up in actual gameplay I'll be sure to tell you. (tho even if it does Indigo s2 will probably still be better, because it's actually a powerful skill, instead of a glorified attack reset)

They'll come around surely. I never thought of SUPAH as someone who should be hated because most of his earlier videos just didn't take themselves seriously. However, once he started doing some more serious Arknights discussion content instead of totally "accurate event summaries" it caused a sort of dissonance for me, because at the time I thought of Arknights as a true gem amongst other gacha games but those discussions... I couldn't really find any mistakes in the points he was making. But slowly that mentality faded away, especially as I've seen more of the recently released events, so SUPAH's overall views became much more relatable. At the end of the day, I guess it's good to be able to laugh at yourself, or at the stuff you like while pointing out its flaws.

Coldshot only loading in a *single* ammo before shooting again is just awful. If you look at her attack animation, every single time she run out of ammo, for a moment she would still try to aim at the enemy first before reloading like a dumbass, maybe she even click the trigger a few times to make sure she ran out of bullets. I wouldnt have really minded if she reloaded all her ammo to full one by one. At least I wouldnt have the relisation that she does that every single time she reloads. But aside from that if I were to improve her, I'd change her trait, first is to really increase her ammo capacity, to maybe like 15 to 20, keep the innate dmg increase, but make her attack *only* when using skill. So that she actually reloads back to full. But in exchange make her skill SP cost lower to about maybe 20 or less so that she can cycle through attacks a bit better.
Ho'olheyak gets some decent use in IS4, but I'm still coping for a new module that makes her a bit more relevant for general content... Still gonna P6 M9 lvl 90 just for the VA alone.

Wow, I really thought that Coldshot would work more like a liberator guard from what I heard. I assume she did not attack until you activate her skill, then gain ammo and attack until she was out and then have to wait until she recharged her skill or you toggle it off. With this, it actually seems like she works more like a mystic caster where you need to place her kind of out of the way, so, after enemy is defeated, she has time to regain all of her stacks for the big damage

New player here, I gotta confess you are the only AK content creator that I sub, SUPAH. Usually other AK contents just offers best ops, must pull, generic shit I seen all the time. But your take here I think the only one saves me the most. Your take on Ho'olheyak made me cancel my plan to dump my F2P orundums on the upcoming Lone Trail event banner. I would like to pour my opinion regarding SUPAH statement himself 1st of all regarding Ho'olheyak indeed she has a problem with her skill that does not synergizes well to her talent which is sad but alas the mechanic she has could be paired well with Dorothy, if you're the type for synergizing ops for fun well i do think you're gonna like her if you have Dorothy 2nd of all regarding of Spuria skills all that matters is that it already been stated that she synergizes her utility with slow paced ranged operators such as Besieger, Spreadshooter, Deadeye & Artilleryman type operators. So don't pair her with Marksman operator because they had quite an fast ASPD as they attack and they wouldn't be able to optimally benefited from the buff Spuria may gave due to fast ASPD resulted in your ops getting stunned It's the same case with Aak, do ensure your ops is at best had a 300 to 400 def so the buff won't immediately kill your ops when he is about to shoot his 3rd skill, otherwise your operator would've been dead before they'll be able to reap the benefit on the stage 3rd regarding of Santalla in my opinion if you're going to rely on her to cast frost all by herself without any other operators which also deals frost then seems like putting the chips way too much for her, the only way for her skill to be able to utilized if not perfect then let's just say sufficient then pair her with another ops who deals frost damage to support her such as Gnosis, Kjerag, Aurora these 3 currently deals frost type of damage so they could be used as additional support for her While regarding the rest such as Poncirus, Almond, Verdant & Delphine i have yet the time to "fully evaluate" their potential to each stage due to IRL circumstances I had a peek towards Coldshot and i do agree regarding her class and her utility needs to be reworked if possible Lastly regarding Vigil.... Vigil was my first Tactician... Ignoring his Skills, what I liked is his summon as it can get up to 3 block losing 1 block as it get killed, which help me manage with my defences as my defender and DPS isn't enough at that time and I the good thing I can think of about his skill is I don't have to look over him, leave him on somewhere just to manage the oncoming wave. I never E2 him and left him around E1Lv30 since that time I finally got my defenders to a good level and acquire a good DPS operator. Though right after this event is when I start getting Tactician with me, still I prefer Muelsyse as not only she could clone, she also reduce the DP needed for Saria.
I'm starting to think Ho'olheyak (Just like Mostima) is better suited Supporter than Caster Their abilities, talents and kits are more appropriate with what Supporters are doing which is to lock, slow, push, etc..
Even if they are bad, that won't stop me from building them! _looks at my Coldshot and Delphine at E2 with S2M3 and Poncirus with S1M3 additionally and probably S2M3 Santalla too if I had her on CN_
but CONSIDER THIS IS3 artifacts that boost your attack for first ten seconds + Spurias S1. Get -50% deployment time artifact for meme upgrade! ...ok it still sucks but that sounds like S-tier meme. Others in this video can't even say that.
I think Viviana deserves a mention because of how all over the place her kit is. She wants to do everything but ends up doing nothing useful and somehow more boring than Surtr's: She has shields but they are way too RNG reliant, only block MELEE damage (why?) and they don't interact in any meaningful way with the rest of her kit unlike other operators with shields. Her S1 is a Auto-Recovery Power Strike with a charged effect that's simply not worth it. Her S2 has ASPD steal, which doesn't really work because the skill is too short, even when becoming a block-2 AoE guard. Also, she gains defense for some reason. Her S3 has helidrop SP cost so you'd think that'd be a way to use her... until you realize the skill has to activate twice to be actually useful. Oh, and her damage is ass because they thought that her RNG super situational unreliable defense would be enough to make up for it.
She’s also blatantly missing the one thing you think her kit should be built around. To quote Marvin the Martian, “Where’s the Kaboom?” Her kit is so incongruous that I think they had an astesea alter kit designed and just reskinned it to be Viviana because they needed to get her out now.
at least Vigil doesn't produce "1 DP per wolf" on his s2 that would sometimes produce 3 but most of the time just produce 1 when the strong enemies come out

Vigil is a terrible unit for his rarity, and his initial DP cost is bad, but at least he CAN do something. Does he do it better than other ops? No. But he’s at least able to SOMETIMES be a decent operator. It’s just that every other person you could substitute in outclasses him. I still think he’s better than some units like hunters and verdant tho. Like…you CAN use him. I feel like hunters and verdant have the most impossible to play around kits of all time.

Genuinely though I agree with almost everything except for Delphine. Yes, I am a Mystic archetype defender, and as a Mystic appreciator, I think Delphine is pretty cool. The poison effect is really neat and gives her a way to soften up enemies for other ops to deal with as she is dealing damage to someone else / already preparing to charge her attack for a different enemy. Honestly she seems more versatile than Ebenholz, since sexy German playboy’s use defaults to either janky crowd control or 1 morbillion damage
every other mystic caster is more versatile than ebenholz (minus modules) because they actually have other utilities or smth (even though they are jank utilities (please make sleep useful))

On the one who got the Andreana special, I'd say she's fine with that. Someone (I think it was an AH player) said Andrea's inability to target enemies with less than 50% hp is beneficial cuz it makes it so she target other things, therefore not wasting any dps. Dunno if that applies to the second to last op in the video, but I don't see why not.
Yup, andreanna was specializing in one shooting an enemies so its better for her to change her target rather than focusing on low hp enemies. And unlike delphine, she hit extremely hard.
Not to mention, her being a deadrye means she'll be targeting low def enemies, which ends in a one shot most of the time
You could also run her with Provence and Absinthe since they both have skills that only trigger if the enemy has less than 50% HP
But andreana works because she deals a lot, and I mean a lot of dmg. Meaning to squishier targets she can straight up one shot them, and to beefier ones, she will constantly pump out high dps

It is a different story if it last 30 seconds for each individual stack. Then I can make her camp some spawn point, Or even reliably pair her with a defender or Slow operators.
At current position Iris and fully upgraded Indigo, outclass her.
She can be something, but that skill wording fails her.

the reason why i never though Pozi would replace Schwarz. Too many maps are built with 3-range units in mind, and 4th tile can solve surprising amount of situations

@@wildfire_ in case of specialist, there are cases when 0 blocks comes to play to let through tough enemies while holding down the rest. For reference, you can check 4* clear of IS-EX-8 (done by ZPKF), where he uses Utage S1 to let big guys through while clearing the rest. 0 block is very niche thingie, but i use it from time to time.
as for spuria - buffers are generally "feelsgood" units in the first place, so it's not about how good or bad she is - it's about whether you wanna make her work or not.
And taking @Supah argument to extreme - after a year of playing, there isn't much point in building ANY ops, since you probably already have enough ops to deal with anything. So, yet another broken 6* or extremely niche 5* is just a choice of whim

Vigil generating 2 or 3 dp every 5 seconds is actually good dp generation, the problem is he needs something to attack.
And it makes him as bad as Siege. Though, Siege at least can deal some damage and block 2 enemies, and Vigil CAN'T
@miakodakot7359 siege is a genuinely neat oeprator as well since her cheap deployment and her s2 and s3 makes her a good source of DP if you don't have cantabile or if you want consistent dps but don't have the dp for the guard you need.
Plus as a vanguard, if you are running myrtle in the squad she benefits from the passive heal

According to people in my comments section that respond when I call Indigo S1 worthless dogshit, it's suppose to be used to charge her attacks quickly between enemy waves.
If that ever comes up in actual gameplay I'll be sure to tell you. (tho even if it does Indigo s2 will probably still be better, because it's actually a powerful skill, instead of a glorified attack reset)

They'll come around surely. I never thought of SUPAH as someone who should be hated because most of his earlier videos just didn't take themselves seriously.
However, once he started doing some more serious Arknights discussion content instead of totally "accurate event summaries" it caused a sort of dissonance for me, because at the time I thought of Arknights as a true gem amongst other gacha games but those discussions... I couldn't really find any mistakes in the points he was making.
But slowly that mentality faded away, especially as I've seen more of the recently released events, so SUPAH's overall views became much more relatable.
At the end of the day, I guess it's good to be able to laugh at yourself, or at the stuff you like while pointing out its flaws.

If there is one opinion of his that I won't deny that I mull over, it's his opinion on quartz since I genuinely believe quartz is fairly strong
Coldshot only loading in a *single* ammo before shooting again is just awful. If you look at her attack animation, every single time she run out of ammo, for a moment she would still try to aim at the enemy first before reloading like a dumbass, maybe she even click the trigger a few times to make sure she ran out of bullets. I wouldnt have really minded if she reloaded all her ammo to full one by one. At least I wouldnt have the relisation that she does that every single time she reloads. But aside from that if I were to improve her, I'd change her trait, first is to really increase her ammo capacity, to maybe like 15 to 20, keep the innate dmg increase, but make her attack *only* when using skill. So that she actually reloads back to full.
But in exchange make her skill SP cost lower to about maybe 20 or less so that she can cycle through attacks a bit better.
All mystic casters have the same s1 and it's meant to let them charge up, hence the 5 second duration and attack range

Wow, I really thought that Coldshot would work more like a liberator guard from what I heard. I assume she did not attack until you activate her skill, then gain ammo and attack until she was out and then have to wait until she recharged her skill or you toggle it off. With this, it actually seems like she works more like a mystic caster where you need to place her kind of out of the way, so, after enemy is defeated, she has time to regain all of her stacks for the big damage

I would like to pour my opinion regarding SUPAH statement himself
1st of all regarding Ho'olheyak indeed she has a problem with her skill that does not synergizes well to her talent which is sad but alas the mechanic she has could be paired well with Dorothy, if you're the type for synergizing ops for fun well i do think you're gonna like her if you have Dorothy
2nd of all regarding of Spuria skills all that matters is that it already been stated that she synergizes her utility with slow paced ranged operators such as Besieger, Spreadshooter, Deadeye & Artilleryman type operators. So don't pair her with Marksman operator because they had quite an fast ASPD as they attack and they wouldn't be able to optimally benefited from the buff Spuria may gave due to fast ASPD resulted in your ops getting stunned
It's the same case with Aak, do ensure your ops is at best had a 300 to 400 def so the buff won't immediately kill your ops when he is about to shoot his 3rd skill, otherwise your operator would've been dead before they'll be able to reap the benefit on the stage
3rd regarding of Santalla in my opinion if you're going to rely on her to cast frost all by herself without any other operators which also deals frost then seems like putting the chips way too much for her, the only way for her skill to be able to utilized if not perfect then let's just say sufficient then pair her with another ops who deals frost damage to support her such as Gnosis, Kjerag, Aurora these 3 currently deals frost type of damage so they could be used as additional support for her
While regarding the rest such as Poncirus, Almond, Verdant & Delphine i have yet the time to "fully evaluate" their potential to each stage due to IRL circumstances
I had a peek towards Coldshot and i do agree regarding her class and her utility needs to be reworked if possible
Lastly regarding Vigil.... Hai Mao why oh why for a welfare 6 star this one ops has to be *ABSOLUTELY A JOKE*
Vigil was my first Tactician... Ignoring his Skills, what I liked is his summon as it can get up to 3 block losing 1 block as it get killed, which help me manage with my defences as my defender and DPS isn't enough at that time and I the good thing I can think of about his skill is I don't have to look over him, leave him on somewhere just to manage the oncoming wave.
I never E2 him and left him around E1Lv30 since that time I finally got my defenders to a good level and acquire a good DPS operator. Though right after this event is when I start getting Tactician with me, still I prefer Muelsyse as not only she could clone, she also reduce the DP needed for Saria.

I think Viviana deserves a mention because of how all over the place her kit is. She wants to do everything but ends up doing nothing useful and somehow more boring than Surtr's:
She has shields but they are way too RNG reliant, only block MELEE damage (why?) and they don't interact in any meaningful way with the rest of her kit unlike other operators with shields.
Her S1 is a Auto-Recovery Power Strike with a charged effect that's simply not worth it.
Her S2 has ASPD steal, which doesn't really work because the skill is too short, even when becoming a block-2 AoE guard. Also, she gains defense for some reason.
Her S3 has helidrop SP cost so you'd think that'd be a way to use her... until you realize the skill has to activate twice to be actually useful.
Oh, and her damage is ass because they thought that her RNG super situational unreliable defense would be enough to make up for it.
She’s also blatantly missing the one thing you think her kit should be built around. To quote Marvin the Martian, “Where’s the Kaboom?”
Her kit is so incongruous that I think they had an astesea alter kit designed and just reskinned it to be Viviana because they needed to get her out now.

Vigil is a terrible unit for his rarity, and his initial DP cost is bad, but at least he CAN do something. Does he do it better than other ops? No. But he’s at least able to SOMETIMES be a decent operator. It’s just that every other person you could substitute in outclasses him. I still think he’s better than some units like hunters and verdant tho. Like…you CAN use him. I feel like hunters and verdant have the most impossible to play around kits of all time.
