Just drove 500 miles RT from Knoxville to (and through) Atlanta using FSD. 1st time to ever use FSD so a bit nerve racking in heavy traffic but was outstanding. Only minor issue was that (like your 151 sign) in GA it consistently misinterpreted I75 40 mph minimum speed signs as the speed limit. Would soon after revert back to 70 but needs resolved. We are very impressed!

Great video. Now that we’re back home (from Venice Florida) I’ve been using FSD 12.3.4 all the time. I took a chance and drove to our local Costco and I was amazed how accurate it functioned. It slowed down at the two Speed Bumps as I approached the Costco Store entrance and was very accurate as I turned right towards the Handicap Parking, allowing people to cross both ways before I took control an drove an open space. Only wish I could afford the 6 grand to purchase it.

Maybe it's where people live, but FSD 12.3.4 is still a no go here in Michigan. Tried it again tonight on a 6 mile drive and it slammed on the brakes in the middle of a right hand turn on a green with absolutely no traffic at all. I have yet to have a drive where I wasn't forced to cancel FSD due to phantom braking, confused lane changes or stopping in the middle of a u-turn leaving me in a lane with oncoming traffic heading toward me. It still has a long way to go, but I will continue to use it as much as possible and record issues when I cancel it because I want it to improve.

I tried it for the first time today. Asides from the map thinking a zone was 40KM/H when it is actually 30KM/H, or thinking it is 30KM/H when it is 50KM/H, it adjusted the speed well when it noticed a sign with the speed limit.
Went through a red light. Stopped at the red light in the left turn lane. Then it became a straight arrow green, and it started making the left turn.
Missed a stop sign as a school, and also missed the kid between 2 parked cars. But I also barely spotted her till we passed.
Took forever at a 4 way stopped with another car. Neither car moved for a while, till nudged the tesla.
On another street I slammed on the bakes as it made a right had turn with the red right light on.
Unexpectedly it kind of parked across the park from my house on a one way street. Was not fully parked. Then realized that someone was coming out of a common driveway and turning left, going the wrong way on a one way street. The Tesla impressively noticed him and pulled over to make space.
Overall great experience, but did not convince me to purchase it.

@@eriklinde 12.3.4. my biggest issue is the red light. We have also noticed that when we are driving the car, not in FSD, the car will chime (Tesla's way of saying, yo, the light turned green 1 millisecond ago) when the left turn right arrow is still red, and the straight arrow turns green. We are in the left turn lane at the time.
All of this will be resolved in time.
And the missed stop sign, it is recessed from the driving path as there is a parking spot there. Still should have been caught.

My initial impression of 12.3.4 this morning was that it was a step backwards. The car did much more meandering this morning vs the past mornings, but I did put on "free speed" so maybe it seemed a bit wilder since the car was going faster. For two lane roads with the stripe warn off of the pavement, it is still a crazy side-to-side yo-yo! The lower price per month is enticing to keep experimenting but I will wait until the community paints on some lines once again. Cheers

Drove 12.3.4 yesterday all good except the merging onto and off of highways. I know that’s still on 11.1 but, it need improving. I don’t think it is safe behaviour. I use the signals in order to merge sooner on and off the highway. The car drives right to the end of the merge lane and then moves over abruptly.

Great video, as usual - but it would be nice if you showed how the car can now park itself in a parking lot by backing into the parking space - I'm sure you've tried this, but it's such a cool feature, show it to us - including all the folks who may not be aware the car can do this now - and I've NEVER seen it fail - and that includes doing parallel parking (which a lot of folks don't like to do) as well as parking in a regular parking lot - at least, as long as the parking spaces are straight (as opposed to the slanted parking spaces, where the car won't recognize those kinds of parking spaces - yet - although I'm sure it will in an upcoming release) ... so next time you get to your coffee pit stop, show the world the cool parking feature of FSD - my wife and I always love seeing the car doing this - in fact, it's the favorite part of any drive we do these days! One additional note - for the wheel nag, you don't need to apply pressure as the only way to satisfy the nag - you can just move either scroll wheel a notch and that will quiet the Nag God ... try it! And if you're in Auto Set Speed, which you normally use, the right scroll whell that you bump up or down a notch has zero influence on the speed the car will be moving ... if you use the left scroll wheel and are listening to some audio, it would change the volume, but in that case, I'll just bump it up and then back down a notch ... if you're not listening to any audio, the left scroll wheel still satisfies the Nag God ... :)

Definitely have had a phantom braking incident on the freeway using 12.3.3. This was after passing a truck, but I couldn’t see any reason for it. However, 12.3.3 does have a tendency to follow slow trucks for too long. I’ll wait for 12.3.4 to see if it also does this.

I rent my Tesla from Uber/Hertz program here in Colorado. Sadly, it's the dumbest versions of all the Model 3's. All we get is basic autopilot. I've tried calling Hertz and asking to unlock the feature, but they refuse to do so. Which doesn't make sense at all. Youd think with FSD active the car would be treated better, no accidents, no breaking road rules and so on. As an Uber Driver this would be a dream to have active. Also, what video recorder are you using to record the center display? I'm attempting to build a UA-cam channel showcasing my daily driving in Colorado Springs.

FSD Supervised doesn’t save time, reduce attention requirements, or lessen liability, and claims of increased safety are difficult to demonstrate.
FSD, in its current form at $99/month, is just a gee-whiz way to drive that will achieve around 40% adoption.
To get to over 80% adoption, FSD needs to be priced at $49/month OR add time-saving features or liability-reducing terms.
Only when Tesla has motivated mass adoption within its OWN fleet, will other automakers show interest in licensing.
