I think Ito en’s best ceremonial grade options are only sold domestically in Japan. If you ever pass by Narita airport they have a vendor there and their higher grades matcha are truly amazing!
Just discovered your channel, I’m a fellow matcha aficionado/ snob. Have you tried any of the matcha from Bellocq out of Brooklyn?! It’s phenomenal quality and I think the colour will live up to your expectations. I’m a huge fan of both the Fumetsu Komachi and Kusamakura Matcha, first flush blends that are exquisite, with a silky mouth feel. They may already be on your radar. 🍵
Love love LOVE this series!! Please review if you can Senbird Tea’s matcha and Sei Mee Tea. They have a decaf Sencha powder that is supposed to be good.
Thank you for your matcha reviews theyre amazing! I love bitterness in a matcha latte so when i add sugar it makes that delicious bittersweet flavor. I splurged on an ippodo and made 1 latte, 0 bitterness and a lot of umami. It tasted like kombu broth mixed with milk it was weird. It was much better with just water🎉
I was wondering if its possible for you to rate the matcha from Pura Vida, they market it as Ceremonial Grade, harvested from Uji, Japan and Organic! I would love to know you opinion on it

But ive never been very critical about the flavor. I did it more so for the health benefits so im really curious on your opinion❤

I have recently moved back to the states and I’m surprised by how much more matcha is here. (Also not as good as brands in Japan) it would be great to review matcha brands in Japan. From 森半 I’ve had 上别儀ceremonial matcha. ( this a low end ceremonial matcha) It is better than anything I’ve had in the states or from Europe so far. It’s Also less than half the price of any thing decent in the west. I would love to know about more brands in Japan.
