I love this series and your videos in general!!!! I would love a video of your all time favorite blends (like which ones from Ippodo are your favorite) 🫶🏻
Thanks for doing Mizuba!! It’s so strange, when I first started drinking matcha this was my brand of choice due to availability and I like that it’s a local/Japanese-sourced brand, and I really liked it. I guess my tastes have matured because I have to agree, it really doesn’t do it for me anymore 😆 I had one at a cafe recently and that honestly wasn’t too bad but it was visibly not fully blended as it left sediment at the bottom of the glass lol. Thank you as always!!
For European matcha brands I can really recommend the "Sho Cha" Matcha. It's all organic plus every tea they sell is from one specific farmer, so no blends. Their supply chain is very transparent and also their Matcha Nr. 2 is just soooo good with a very good price I think :)
I LOVE this series. When I opened my first package of Sayaka from Ippodo, it had a powerful chocolate scent. I know it has nothing to do with any of these, but it is still my favorite. And you mentioned scent in this video.
Always excited for a new taste test episode! I always love and appreciate your honest reviews. I don't usually like to order matcha from Amazon but did try FKRO's Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha. Would like to know your thoughts. I'd also like to suggest Laka Matcha, Dona, Astrid Tea (releasing June 1 by UA-camr Meredith Mao), Yamari, other matchas from Marukyu Koyamaen (I remember you reviewing Unkaku if I'm not mistaken) and I recently found out Harney & Sons also has a matcha line which I thought was interesting but not sure how I feel about it lol. Looking forward to an updated tier video though! I always use it as a reference. Thanks Remy!!!
I love this series so much! You're saving me money and introducing me to new brands to try. Have you ever tried Buddha Teas matcha? I always consider adding a tin when I order other teas from them but I haven't yet.
I love all of your matcha content and can't wait to try yours (currently saving some money to make the purchase haha). I was curious if you have tried Habit's matcha (a tea company owned/ran by UA-camrs Eamon & Bec, if you follow/know them?)??? :)
Absolutely. Though tbh people always recommend me to try brands that suck, I think going forward when I can see signs that the matcha is probably gonna be disappointing, I'm not going to bother haha it's a waste of matcha and money
thanks for all the taste testing! i do worry about your caffeine intake, though. i had to wean off of caffeine cus i believe it was worsening my the anxieties from obsessive compulsive disorder, and while weaning off of the daily matcha, i remember getting more headaches during that time. 😭
I've only tried Urtekram that doesn't specialize on matchas, they do have very many kinds of products and that wasn't great but Moya is truly superior, it's the other matcha i've tried and it was so good! They specialize on matchas and i can taste it but i still do want to learn more&taste more matchas!!
Have you tried any other European brands? Ive tried the ceremony brand for matcha latte and its okay, while i actually like the clearspring ceremonial matcha for both Americano and latte. Its very mild though.
Recently I found a few UA-camrs have their own matcha brands, maybe it'll be interesting to review their matcha? So far there is Astrid tea and Nami matcha which will be available in July
@@sleepycat_ada8210 I’ll have to look into them for sure! I’m not gonna lie it’s frustrating to spend $200+ and be disappointed with 90% of matcha I’m asked to try 😂 going forward if I see obvious tells that a matcha isn’t going to be great I’m not going to buy it
Would you consider giving the matchas you've tried a star rating in the future? That way, it would be easier to compare the brands across all videos of this series
It’s really hard to rank because like coffee, it’s so subjective and everyone has a different palate so I’ve been trying to be more descriptive versus ranking these days!
I've tasted it when holding a receipt, getting on my hands and then eating something after like chips etc. Not intentionally obviously, but it is the worsttttt taste ever lol
How fun! One of my close friends just left Kyoto yesterday :) P.S. Most of these brands are US based (some sourcing from close to Kyoto, some not) but personally my preference is matcha from outside of Uji, it’s quite an overrated growing region imo but the most well known!
This is my FAVORITE series ever!!!! Thank you for your time and commitment to these :D
Please do a video with your all time favorite matcha brands!!🥰
I love this series and your videos in general!!!! I would love a video of your all time favorite blends (like which ones from Ippodo are your favorite) 🫶🏻
Oh and would love a video about Frauth! :)
Coming right up :)

Glad I'm not the only one that felt disappointed by Mizuba's matcha. And yes, please do another tier video!
It would be so fun if you did a bracket with all your favorite matcha brands!
I LOVE this series. When I opened my first package of Sayaka from Ippodo, it had a powerful chocolate scent. I know it has nothing to do with any of these, but it is still my favorite. And you mentioned scent in this video.
That brand from Tea Master is from Hoshino Seicha-en I believe! :)
I’m so excited to see frauth on here! 🥰
I would love to see a video with your own matcha as well as the experience with the process ❤
Have you heard or tried AOI?
I will be starting on theirs. Just waiting to pop the tin open after finishing some options I got on Amazon.

Harney and Sons feels like it'll be disappointing HAHA but I will look into the others :) thanks for the recs!
Would be curious to know your opinion on Republic of Teas matcha, especially because they have many different blends of matcha ! Love your videos !
I love this series so much! You're saving me money and introducing me to new brands to try. Have you ever tried Buddha Teas matcha? I always consider adding a tin when I order other teas from them but I haven't yet.
I've never heard of them before!

I’d be curious about this one too!
yes omg i really want to hear her thoughts on this!!
I've ever heard of them but I'll look into it!
Totally agree on Mizuba! And watching these videos just really show how hard it is to find good matcha out here 😢
Absolutely. Though tbh people always recommend me to try brands that suck, I think going forward when I can see signs that the matcha is probably gonna be disappointing, I'm not going to bother haha it's a waste of matcha and money
Would LOVE to see you try Matcha Freak

I was really surprised to find out that matcha was so addictive. I love matcha, but I also feel drowned by it.
Thanks for the concern
Thanks to you, I got the Seihou from Tea Masters because I work close to there and it's so good!
It's so good!
Which one is this? The ceremonial black container?
Have you tried Tea Bar matcha? I really love the packaging and it sounds good but don’t remember if you tried that one. Thanks!
grats on launching your matcha brand. wishing you success, and more importantly, happiness.
Thank you so much, this is so kind!
I’m curious what you think of the brand Ujido!
Ahhh love matcha and love your videos!! Also this is random but where did you get your clear framed pink/brown? Glasses? So cute!!!
Interesting video would be to take the best from all your videos and rank those.🎉

My favorite is still jade leaf mactha. But jade is my favorite stone though:-)
Could you review Astrid tea? It’s by munchieswithmere
i love your informative videos 🙏🏼

U should try one from tezumi !
Mizuba has much better matcha than the one you tried. Could you try the other mizuba matcha?
Can you test chafinity
Could you review Nippon Cha Matcha?
Have you tried the sencha naturals from Costco? If so can you direct me to which video? I’m curious what your thoughts are
Yes I have in an earlier video
It was in the very first matcha taste test video.
@@kayl7260 yes I saw lol. I have no idea how I missed that. I watched that video hahaha

How does she know what printer ink tastes like 😭 0:02
I've tasted it when holding a receipt, getting on my hands and then eating something after like chips etc. Not intentionally obviously, but it is the worsttttt taste ever lol

I usually do! But it’s up to personal preference
Please try Astrid tea.
