I am from Zamboanga and I've been studying Spanish with nivel B2. Efra and Waleska, for you to understand chavacano, just remember that the verbs in the third person apply to all subjects (singular/plural), and same main verbs to all tenses.
there are Spanish migrant Filipinos, some of them even Catalans, who have settled in Zamboanga del Norte (where I'm originally from). Dipolog City (the capital) is famous for Spanish sardines and chorizo. Go figure. My great grandfather originally came from Andalucia and migrated to the Philippines by way of Cuba then eventually settled in Baliangao, Misamis Occidental, where you can also find a few Spanish minorities.
As a Filipino student studying the Spanish language, Chavacano feels like a wrong-grammared Español but like all Spanish-speaking countries it sounds really beautiful.
Chavacano started out, when spanish soldiers and filipino workers were put together to build the fort in zamboanga city. Since these groups of people did'nt have a common language.. They mixed their languages together, to somehow communicate with each other. This process is called pidgin. When this new pidgin language is passed on from generation to generation, it is now called a creole, hence the proper name of chavacano is "a spanish creole language". Chavacano has its own orthography and dictionary, so you can't say that it is wrong grammared or broken spanish.
Chavacano came from a spanish dialect native to a region of Spain near Portugal. And over time the language has been mixed with Austronesian/ South east asian Language(that's why at least 30% of chavacano has tagalog words).
My elder kuya (DJ Medmessiah) is the one who started "Chavacano rap". You should check out his song with el jefe pinador & my pare Gods Will on their song " Mal Sistema" ! #Morobeats ...(Oh and my favourite Chabacano rap song. by Zambo top dogz "Los Armadas".) Viva! Mabuhay!
The locals has to make do since they were not given proper learning/way in using the Spanish language. But Chavacano is never broken Spanish. It is a Spanish-creole based language that is unique to the Philippines. Our very own.
In Chavacano, “alboroto” means noisy. “No man alboroto” literally means “don’t be noisy” but the implication is “don’t create a fuss/ruckus”. Also works for telling somebody to not divulge a secret. The closest equivalent I could think of in English is when somebody tells you to “hush”
OLE OLE by PLUMA, RIJJ is one of the modern day chavacano hiphop/rap that is famous in the Philippines. I am from Manila but "Ole Ole" is known here everywhere, it is being played in the radio.
I appreciate that you like our rap music. When you reacted to the word "plancha'o" it is planchado. Reventada means something exploded to us. We do not say the -do words completely but we say it in -o. Like Pesca'o, sala'o, endulca'o. "Alboroto" term in chavacano means noisy, or your right.. disorder.and yes, we say it cabeza. Lol.
Oh fact: Zamboanga is famous for speaking chavacano, but they are not the only region to speak the language. My mom is from Ternate, Cavite. She said her folks speaks chavacano too, native to that area. It's just that Ternate chavacano is a dying language.

FYI: Zamboanga-Chavacano is not referred to as broken Spanish. It is a Spanish-creole based language and is unique to the Philippines. It is the same as to how Spanish is spoken differently in other Spanish speaking countries such as Spain, Argentina, Nicaragua or Chile. From the accent, phonetics down to vocabulary. In Mexico-Spanish 'chinita' means curly hair, while in Peru (the same as Philippines) it means a Chinese girl. Or how work/job is 'trabajo' but in Argentina its 'laburo'.
"Alboroto" means "noise, noisy" it depends how you use form a sentence. the local Dialect of Zamboangueño is Spanish-based Creole language. Watching from Zamboanga City "Vaya Con Dios" 💓
The only other Chavacano song that I remember as a kid growing up is Patcha by Mocha Girls! LOL. It’s still mixed with some English but it was something my mom would always blast in her old geo metro.

In chavacano ALBOROTO is noisy... Like in the song NUMA ALBOROTO translate to don't be noisy or somewhat like don't say a word.. Any chavacano in here they know what I'm saying. Try more topd dogz music... They sing more chavacano song.
There are two places where Chavacano language are spoken. The two places are Zamboanga and and Cavite City. The difference are in Zamboanga, Chavacano is a combination of Visayan and Spanish Languages whereas in Cavite City, Chavacano is the combination of Tagalog language and Spanish language. Cavite City was where the Spanish Naval Base were located
Chavacano is a 65% broken Spanish .. And the history of Chavacano originated in Asia's Latin City which is Zamboanga. I've already met TOP DOGZ and MALDITA .. They are only a few of those Chavacano singers. Please listen also to DEJA/DEHA by Zero. You'll also love it.
Chavacano is also spoken in a place called Cavite City..my father and mother spoke the language, very close to Portuguese as well. Chavacano just forego conjugations as it supposed to be in Spanish.

We use alboroto in the Philippines when someone is moody, or mad or angry.
Means "maingay" po.
True. "Nag aalboroto ka na naman" means "nag susumpong" or throwing a tantrum hehe
But here in zamboanga city philippines. Alboroto means "noise,Loud".
In tagalog "maingay".
" a volcanic eruption"
In waray dialect alburoto means having tantrums. Commonly used word in our dialect. (Waray is a dialect for leyteño, Philippines)

Alburoto is used in many Phil languages. We also use a Malay word “amok,” which is used now in english as in “run amok” (or amuck).

Dos Fuertes - Tarat tat
This is a reggaeton track. They are also Chavacano. Song's very popular back in the days.
Watching from Zamboanga City
"Vaya Con Dios" 💓
The only other Chavacano song that I remember as a kid growing up is Patcha by Mocha Girls! LOL. It’s still mixed with some English but it was something my mom would always blast in her old geo metro.

In Bisaya, I think "alburoto" means intense anger about to explode! . . same with "reventada" - damage due to explosion.
Alburoto means noisy
alboroto means "throwing a chaotic tantrum over something". its not just in chavacano we also use that word in bisaya.

By the way, that's not in Spanish nor it is in Philippine or Filipino Spanish, but it is in Chabacano or Chavacano language (specifically in the dialect, variant or variety named or called Zamboangueño Chavacano or Chavacano de Zamboanga of Western Mindanao or Southwestern Philippines, most especially in Zamboanga City, Isabela City and Lamitan City).
