Hello.. is the GM Module also related with headunit radio? i've been told by the mechanics to replace it so my original head unit tape radio can be played.
My E46 has an intermittent problem with the key not locking/unlocking the car. Do you think this module is related to my issue? Or maybe the antenna? I just changed out the battery (a hassle to slice open, solder a new one) and reprogrammed, but still intermittent.
I have an E46 with the same issue. Did you find anything? I'm not sure if the key is putting out a signal 100% of the time, or if there's an issue with the "diversity antenna". I found this antenna box behind the C pillar trim on the driver's side (left hand drive US car), thought maybe I'd see some corrosion on a connection. Nope, they all looked good. Took them all off, plugged all back in, same issue. I wouldn't really care that much, but there's no manual lock on the passenger side door handle, which is a hassle if you need to open the door for a woman.
@@The777Garage does PA soft do it ? My cars interior lights, trunk light, steering wheel Hard, central lock don’t work. Alarm was going off also but I took the fuse out for now.

Hey, how did recode the new GM3 module to your car ?
In this video no,but yes u will have to recode it..any decent diagnostic machine will do it..done it with launch system
