I have to admit, i was shook when i saw that pile of cuttings in the beginning. I never knew this plant was capable of this, even though i have grown many of them 😅

I'm going to do this to all my coleus. I guess it's that time of the year already.

We do this every year before propagating season. Really makes them bush up.

Beautiful video! So, what did you do with the clippings taken off prior to the week 1 update? Trying to learn along with you. Very nice! :) Were they just tossed?

Thank you so much 😍 Most cases we would propagate them but in this case we tossed them

I just found your channel & instantly subscribed. You guys are great! 😊
I could definitely use some advice… I have a very tall, leggy, and not at all bushy Coleus right now. I would love to give it a fresh start and hopefully help it become a happy, bushy plant again. How do you decide where to cut your stalks back to for a major trim? And once they start growing back, when do you start pinching them and how often? Thanks so much!

Thanks so much for the follow! If you check our playlist, we have an entire series on just coleus that might be useful. Don't be afraid to trim them back low. You can see how close we cut ours.
To keep them bush and not leggy, to not allow them to bloom. Snapping the blooms when you see them encourages that energy to be spent on the plant.
A season trim is also very helpful in keeping your coleus bushy and happy.
