FYI - I know this review came before they included instructions, but the torque spec included in the instructions shows 1Nm for the plastic spacer screws and 3Nm for the final wheel side screws.
So yeah then that's def by hand. What he did was probably perfect tbh. Getting to 3nm torque is easier then people think. It's almost to easy so hopefully people don't overnighten these because the qr2 that you put on the actual base needs to be torqued to 8nm lol. That's a bit harder by hand to judge.
I would really like to see you make a video on the Fanatec logistics issues. With your visibility and influence, getting some comment from them might go a long way to addressing the tension everyone feels when they have to wait 3+ weeks for their order to arrive even after paying for overnight delivery. This might be more helpful than installation guides for a product that no common customer will realistically have in their hands for weeks if not months.
@@dannyvegito6357 Glad to hear you got your kit. For me sadly it's been a full month since I ordered my QR2 bundle and my items have still not left the Fanatec warehouse. It's also been 2 weeks since I contacted their support department and I still have no reply. They are such a shambles at the moment. I'm giving it one more week then I'll be getting my money returned via my credit card company.
When I realized I couldn't us the QR2 on my favorite and most expensive wheel (Porshe 918 RSR) i was disapointed, but ordered anyway for my other (lesser) wheels..
Not sure why I’d doesn’t work. I have the Clubsport RS 300 wheel which is the same as the Porsche wheel and it works great. I even upgraded the wheel with the podium Module
im worried because im getting a qr2 wheel side for csl universal hub v2 and it looks like the pins are not gonna reach the pin hole to the csl dd qr2 base
Hi, i’m installing the qr2 pro on my new f1 2023 wheel. It seems like the black ring is actually already on there. So i guess i only need to attach the sr2 itself without any adjudtments to the existing wheel parts right?
I have the universal hubs and a formula wheel of the first generation and those doesn't have a changeable quickrelease like the most recent ones. but maybe somebody gonna create an adapter at some point.
@@HomieFFM It looks like there are adapters for non fanatec wheels to work with the fanatec QR, but with the price of that adapter + having to take the old one apart I ended up just getting the universal hub v2 on black friday and will try and sell the old one to try and get some of the money back.
Just got mine 15 minutes ago thanks for the tutorial way better than the directions!!

How do you know what nm it is?
@@grahamkelly8662 - I have a torque wrench. It doesn’t always fit where it needs to though. So I just try to make relative guesses.

I have a McLaren GT3 V2 and it already has a Plastic washer. Do I have to replace with one of the two that came with the QR2 anyways?
Excellent guide Will!

@@RTR_RRoomes73 Can't remove the Q1 it's built into the center of the wheel rim itself .....
@@michaelroberts7770Simube sells an adapter for that now! It’ll work with your Porsche wheel
Do they include the QR2 with it now or do you have to buy it separate?

Unrelated to the current video but wondered if you have or plan to do a review on the BavarianSimTec ΩPRO?
