I highly agree with your last comment not to let our religion be subverted by passing fashion of the age👍 I will never let no one subvert my television user manual!
Mohammed Hijab wrote a concise booklet on feminism called "Fifth-wave Feminism"... In one chapter he even talks about "homonationalism" (ie. Nation-state potection of homosexuals)... The booklet is a compilation of essays he wrote on a post-graduate level at the Center for Gender Studies at SOAS University of London. Highly recommendable!
feminism is neo patriarchy they claim to fight & Islam is the equality they wish. feminists were pro lynching, came after central banks to switch from farm slave trades not closed on X - mas but other holidays, whos? - to debt slavery colonists are anti minority family structure like feminists. zionism is euro colonialism...
Feminism was about a lot of things. You should know that in early stages of feminism, more men than women supported feminism. For the capitalists it was about bringing more women in the workforce and increasing the consumer market. For liberal men it was about casual sex because they thought patriarchy and traditional norms stopped women from having sex with them. For certain atheists and anarchists it was about destroying family. While for a minority it was about helping women.
"It is not for a believing man or woman-when Allah and His Messenger decree a matter-to have any other choice in that matter. Indeed, whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has clearly gone ˹far˺ astray." 33:36, as a Muslim before we endorse or reject a matter, we should go back to the Quran and hadith and see what it says in that matter. to say I am a Muslims and endorse other ideology then we must question, where your loyalty lies. "Does He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Acquainted?" 67:14. Allah gave each person their due right and to took for a right that Allah didn't give you then you are accusing Allah of not being wise.
I'm a fan of how you personally tackle such subjects, and also how you refer to other people's works, people who are actually learned and know what they write about. Very facinating video as always. 👍👍👍
Any "ism" is almost by definition incomplete, because it tries to give a complete answer from a single perspective. The complete answer has to be a combination of the best elements of all 'isms, which in my view is what the Qur'an provides the basis for.
Me too, I agree with the conclusion of the article. There is no need for a religion if we think we know more to re-interpret it to fit the passing affinities.
I totally love, respect and admire almost everything about this channel. This is, however, such a thorny subject; and I’m afraid generalizations were made at the expense of nuance, flexibility and accuracy. The either / or ultimatum abruptly ends any discussion and blocks any ijtihad aiming to address emerging issues and social phenomena. I agree that a delicate balance needs to be maintained but the doors of ijtihad and reinterpretation of text in light of new facts and occurrences are also a testament to the eternal appeal and applicability of the Holy Quran.
Islam is for all time. If we modify or adjust Islam to suit constantly changing attitudes and lifestyles, then Islam becomes a kind of fashion. Ijtihad is needed for particular instances, especially those that didn't exist in the past. But there's no place for ijtihad if it tries to change the teachings of Islam. There's no room for ijtihad when there's a text (Quran and Sunnah). This a legal and religious principle.
So that is the real challenge we face - how to ensure the interpretation of Qur'anic Ayat, in conjunction with the Sunnah, to effectively deal with each iteration of society as it changes and evolves over time (including dealing with movements and ideas like feminism). Presently though, the Muslim approaches are static, fosilised and mostly backwards looking because of blind following (Taqlid) of the established tradition in conjunction with maintaining an artificial orthodoxy. The only way out of this current malaise then is to reappraise standard Muslim approaches in favour of identifying something more in line with the revolutionary movement brought by the Prophet and the early community, which instead focused on orthopraxy; the impetus for the re-establishment of a meaningful and authentic orthopraxy to deal with modernity would involve embracing the Maqasid al-Islam approach instead.
It is all about power and responsibilities and balance between them. Islam give man authority over woman as head of family but at same time he is responsible for his family. It is his duty to feed protect his family. Mother has more respect than father because she is responsible for educating children. It is her teach them what is right and what is wrong at early age. Both are inequal because they have different power and responsibilities but for child both important and deserve their love.
Missing from this was a review of the main ideas and theses from "islamic feminism" as stated by them and an analysis of how they specifically clash with sunni islamic creed. All I heard is that the fight against patriarchy is unislamic. I agree but it would have been nice to quote them. I didn't get from this clip what differentiates islamic feminism from liberal mainstream feminism. I fear a great deal of your viewers would fail to identify core feminist principles let alone authors and would know even less about islamic feminists. Also, left out is the most fundamental fact that some Muslim women that are labeled islamic feminists just want Muslim societies and communities to provide them with what Allah - swt - has given them in the Sharia because in most of our societies and communities, we, as men, fail at that. I agree that our creed and sharia cannot be made to try to adjust to western fades that are not even coherent but that fact should not be a reason to disregard the reality that we as men are not treating our women the way that Allah - swt - wants us to and the way that habibullah - saws - showed us. We can't keep looking the other way and continue with the same while blaming the West and feminism. We need to hold ourselves responsible for our behaviour. That is the muslim way to act.
The Noble Qu'ran made it a responsibility of men over the service of his family women as they need him (Spending, advise, companionship, support and protection), and not given honour/superiority over women. Many non Arabic speakers/non Qu'ran science and wisdom intellectuals misunderstands certain things. Salam.
this is a Definition issue. It all comes to how an individual views or understands Islam. If by feminism we are referring to justice for women, then I do not see where is the confusion. Look up the prophets last word to his nephew!
In reality, some people tend to be selective when it comes to Islamic teachings. They would rather follow their desires after what has come to them of knowledge. This is indeed a serious problem. Allah Almighty said ((It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error.)) Surah Al-Ahzab, 36
I watched this following your more in-depth discussion on Feminism and Islam. I agree if you are to confess a belief and accept a faith you cannot cherry pick the parts YOU deem relevant or ok. Islam is different from Christianity In this respect. I equate it to what I do as a Diabetes health /lifestyle Coach. While the method of teaching snd cooking that I use is plant based, I will never tell someone that it is wrong to eat meat. I only Ciach this lifestyle to help people to reset their body. Once they have reduced the inflammation and reduced it reversed their diabetes they are free to eat some meat or fish. But not in the excess that led to the conditions of ill health. Humankind cannot make Haram what Allah has made Halal.
I have a question, since when the protectors are superior to the protected? Wouldn't we protect the more valuable things in life? When God says men are the protectors of women, why are we assuming it means men are superior, does the president protect his guards or is it the other way around?
From my understanding I believe it relates to physical superiority. Men are naturally physically stronger and more able to protect women than the other way round, thus the responsibility of protecting falls on the males. And this instinct comes naturally to all of us, including young children (brother protecting his sister). And Allah knows best.
Islam speaks about justice, equity and complementarity and not equality (which is in a modern ideological concept linked to modern states in their relations with men and women as citizens who pay taxes ... and strictly linked to the context of rich and developed countries) On the other hand in Islam there are interpretations, especially in what has a relation with the "temporal" , therefore the juriprudences ... historically there have been a lot of legal schools (Madhab) which have very different points of view on laws and legal matters , and modern schools also exist and continue to appear .. so nothing really new
The thing is Islam or Islamic communities did not begin in a vacuum. There were preexisting traditions and cultures throughout the world. And even today one can talk about it in terms of equality which is different from being equal.same as one cannot compare apples and oranges. In my understanding the Quran is very egalitarian. The verse that speaks about men are providers is talking about a very specific time i.e when the woman is pregnant. Also, the degree in another verse refers to the responsibility on husband. Then the ayahs talk about reconciliation/disagreement and divorce. Amina Wadood and Asma Barlas have dealt with it in detail in their books. Their books are a bit difficult to read with long complex sentences. Their work is of academic nature and had to refer back and forth to understand how and what they were concluding.
Paul once again very beautifully explained. Paul I can only pray that one day you may embrace ISLAM. You'll be a MUSLIM BY CHOICE A MUCH BETTER MUSLIM THAN US, MUSLIMS BY BIRTH. REGARDS FROM PAKISTAN.
"FEMINISM erase GOD the Creator of all existences from the scene. As a result a feminist is force to find her values in relation to a Man. She had accepted that Man is the standard, and thus a woman can never be full human being until she becomes just like a Man: the Standard." [Yasmin Mogahed, a Muslimah and Islamic activist]
Hence, do not covet the bounties which God has bestowed more abundantly on some of you than on others. Men shall have a benefit from what they earn, and women shall have a benefit from what they earn. Ask, therefore, God [to give you] out of His bounty: behold, God has indeed full knowledge of everything. -Translation of the Glorious Qur’an, 4:32
A people out there concerned about ones Islam, would anyone render a thought on the second last verse of Quran, surah 3. Please! Could Mr Blogger shed a light scholarly, with thanks to him advanced.
I think you are ingenious in submitting issues & simplifying them to be understood profoundly. It is about the balance between GOD's revelation & our whims; then to decide whom to follow and obey.
Human rights phenomena and feminism in particular are a recent development. Women were allowed to vote only recently. Jim Crow laws and racial segregation in the United States had been enforced until the sixties. Woman were allowed to work starting only during the late stages of World War Two. Theses are then uncharted territory for human rights in general. Family units are not the way they used to be. Single parent household is the norm these days and divorce is very common in western societies. In the United States about 40 to 50 percent of new marriages end up in divorce. The divorce rate for subsequent marriages is even higher. And so we can see that there is a price to pay for all these changes in the structure of the society in general and of the family unit in particular. I always wonder if there ever will be a correction to this way of life or is it here to stay. Should there also be some changes in Islamic laws and grant women more rights? Should there be a whole sale update or just some tweaking. Sometimes I also wonder if the laws in Islam would be any different if the Quran was revealed today. Would the decrees of inheritance, lashing for adultery and cutting the hands of the thief stand as they are. I guess we will never know.
All authority belongs to God, so there's no place for Feminism or any other "ism" in Islam. However, one must make a distinction between God's revelation (the Qur'an) and behaviour of Muslim men who often deny basic human rights to women and find justification in dubious traditions attributed to the Prophet.
Surah 4:34 >> Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them [lightly]. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.
Qur'an 4:128 And if a woman has reason to fear ill-treatment from her husband, or that he might turn away from her, it shall not be wrong for the two to set things peacefully to rights between themselves: for peace is best, and selfishness is ever-present in human souls. But if you do good and are conscious of Him - behold, God is indeed aware of all that you do Qur'an 4:35 If you fear a breach between the two, appoint an arbitrator from his people and an arbitrator from her people. If they both want to set things right, Allah will bring about reconciliation between them. Allah knows all, is well aware of everything.
any one in the west says that islam is injustice towards the women......he should come and see what our women do to us 😂😂.....and what we do for our women❤️❤️
@Lilia murah It s offtopic... Woman who claim they are Princess/Queen are delusional and watched to much Frozen - woman need permission off her husband to work outside home/IF its needed( she can keep her money/ isnt charged for paying anything home related...) - biologically a womans body isnt made to work until she is 70...the strength and logic is given by Allah, Azze ve Celle,to man ...he can do the job "Elhamdullilah"
@Lilia murah Yet again..." Strong&powerfull/independent" is a toxic Feminist term. Can u find these terms in Ayath/Hadith?? Queen Belqiz was a sun worshipper and had a council of wise man....still she wasnt "strong and independend" enough to get over too Prophet Sulaiman😉 - Chadiedjah(r.a) was a widow If a "Queen" marry s...her husband will become a "prince"(fact! search it) If a" King" marry s...her wife will become a QUEEN(fact...search it)
I am rather disturbed, dear fellow, by the number of comments that assume that Muslim women are choosing to identify with feminism due to ignorance or ingratitude to their husband (supposedly, their Lord Protector). I say "Lord Protector" not to condescend men but to illustrate the extent to which men have failed in the task given to them. I'm sure that it would be appreciated, at least by Muslim women, if you could put the record straight in another video. It seems perfectly obvious that the reason why some Muslim women are opting for feminism is due to the fact that Muslim men have failed them. While the Qur'an and the Prophet gave women the right to divorce and put limits to their exploitation by men it is clear (by the ignorance of readily available "scholarly" rulings) that their right to divorce and women's rights within the marital home have been whittled away. Most Muslims know that a woman is NOT obligated to do housework yet how many men INSIST that their wives cook for them and their children, clean and mend everybody's clothes in the house as well as clean the house. It is not a woman’s duty to do housework but Muslim men assume that women do so out of the goodness of their hearts yet where is the appreciation of Muslim men for this act of charity from their wives? Nor, do Muslim women have to give the milk from their body to the children they bare for their husbands. There are many hadiths in which we find the Prophet mending clothes and doing housework. The same is the case of Ali, his cousin son-in-law. Was it their own clothes alone and their own food alone that they mended and prepared? Of course not! They SERVED their family as servants. When Muslim men can be like the Prophet and his cousin son-in-law, doing the house chores (not as a favour but as a duty), then (and only then) can they complain or question as to why Muslim women should choose feminism? It is clear why Western Women chose feminism - they are expected to do the housework without the right to say no! Now, if you are convinced by what I've said will you make a video counter the opinions being expressed by some of your subscribers? I hope you do dear fellow ..........
The Islamic characteristics of righteousness and obedience to the guidance of the Quran and the hadith are a thing of the past. We have been consumed by the secular lifestyle, and have therefore lost our footing in this life and in the hereafter. This is why there are no real men anymore, hence why women have been failed. That is further proof of the wisdom of the Qur'an and not the opposite. There is a saying "when the cat goes away, the rat and mice come to play" that is a parallel to the gender roles between man and woman as it relates to the power dynamic. There is a good lecture that explains this further (even if I do not agree with every point made) it does a decent job at explaining what it means to be man in the context of Islam: ua-cam.com/video/Y64yqIam1Gw/v-deo.html
It's bot that black and white. Some muslims women are feminists because their men treat them badly while some are feminists because they are ungrateful to their husbands while others are because it's trendy to be a feminist.
Wrong on many fronts. You're assuming that it is because of men that women are opting for this and you are generalizing men as these abusive monsters. No doubt they are some, but you only hear the horror stories and not the 100s of other marriages. The reason is because they are exposed to these ideas and brainwashed, esp in the west,. Esp through movies, school and social media. And the parents either didn't attempt to teach them what Islam is or they were allowed full exposure to these ideas, or perhaps trauma. You assume once men do their job that women will magically fall in line. Many men are out there doing their job and there are women that still hold on to these feminist beliefs and deny men their rights. It's just men complain about it less. Women are obligated to serve/be obedient to their husbands. And if the husband is out working all day, providing the money and shelter, who does the household work naturally fall on? The man provides the house, the wife is the one that creates a peaceful home. If you don't want to cook or clean then don't marry a man who wants you to cook or clean. Plain and simple. And plenty of Muslim men appreciate it. Your feminist brain just doesn't acknowledge this. You are cherry picking hadiths and taking them out of context. Mending clothes and "serving his family" doesn't mean he did the house chores as many women of your type like to think. The Prophet (PBUH) had multiple wives. You think he did all the house chores for every single one of them? Lol. There is literally NOTHING about cooking food or cleaning the house like you assume. They weren't servants of their family. They were providers, leaders and protectors. IT was never a duty on a man to do that. You think it is fair and equitable for a man to work 8-12 hours a day AND do all the house chores. You are delusional. It's clear why you chose feminism, because now you are trying to reinterpret hadith to fit your feminist brain. When can Muslim women be like Khadija or Fatima (RA), see how these generalizations can be flipped on you?
You know this is my fav subject?? As a muslim and as a feminist (meaning believing in equal opportunity) it is still quite hard to accept 4:34. However never have my faith in Him changed for He created me and knows what is best for me/us. When i read the Ayah i wish this applied to both the sexes. But it does not. A hope and faith is instilled that He is just. We know no better and knowledge that we have is limited. But the Sirah clearly states how a man is to treat his wife. And our Prophet (SW) lead the path.
I don't think gender roles are different to give men any priorities or deprive women of their rights. Gender roles are different because both gender are different. Differences should be respected not to be hated. The problem of modern feminism is that it often make people forget who they are and keep people busy with competing each other .
@@One-rr8um Thank you. Gender role as per Quran i can accept. What i struggle with that it mentions disciplining us but not the other way around. Or why even mention this for one sex?. I must do more reading

Remember God is not the author of confusion. . Also, human beings, including Jesus, are called ‘son of man’ specifically to distinguish them from God, who is not a ‘son of man’ according to the Bible.
Why should one have equal opportunities? You wanrt this, but why should it be correct? That contradicts the reality. Like if is say now: All people should be equally beautiful or healthy etc. All people are different = not the same, but every single person has different possibilities or obstacles. That was philosophically the crux of the matter: Reality shows us: People are different, which results in different possibilities. The world shows us: a woman is different from a man and a man is different from a woman = accordingly both have different tasks because they are different, like with animals where the males do that and the females do that. Feminists an ideology invented by lesbians and men ... In my experience: The women who are feminists are: often lesbians, women who want to increase their self-esteem or compensate for their complexes. Lots of other women I know: they don't like them. These are women who find themselves acceptable and age did not matter or religion. Among the youngsters with my niece (16), nobody likes the feminists, even if the teacher sometimes tries to advertise them. It was the wish of the children when they were asked what they would like to do later: many said study and marry before studying or afterwards and have children. Not only were Muslims among them. I said the same to the sport teacher, but he wanted to rate women better than men for less performance. Fight for it too? When a woman gave a man a gossip in school, the man hit back and justified it with equality but the teachers didn't want to hear about it ... Are you fighting for the fact that a woman can also be hit back if she starts? If the government declares an emergency and they force men to fight in your country, will you fight for it that all women have to fight to the death except for the mothers who take care of the children? Femism is for quotas and office jobs. When I see women go to the streets to fight for work: construction workers, pipe cleaners, deep-sea fishermen, window cleaners, lumberjacks, soldiers at the front, drain cleaners and other hard work to work at a quota if necessary, otherwise I take the Feminists religion aren't serious.
@Sharla Weng Christ means, The Messiah, which means The Savior, The Anointed One. God is The Savior, and He has extended His Salvation to us, having Anointed His own Word, Jesus-Christ to save from their sins those who believe in Him (Matthew 1:21-23) ... Because no human being can save themselves from their mountains of sins and from hell. Only God can save us. And He did it through His Word that He sent ... Jesus-Christ (John 1:1-14 ; John 3:16)

There is a book called " the feminist lie it was never about equality " for Bob Luis I guess you may check it out
feminism is neo patriarchy they claim to fight & Islam is the equality they wish. feminists were pro lynching, came after central banks to switch from farm slave trades not closed on X - mas but other holidays, whos?

Any "ism" is almost by definition incomplete, because it tries to give a complete answer from a single perspective. The complete answer has to be a combination of the best elements of all 'isms, which in my view is what the Qur'an provides the basis for.
May Allah bless this man.
MashAllah, i just remembered where someone requested you on this topic. May Allah reward you good
Me too, I agree with the conclusion of the article. There is no need for a religion if we think we know more to re-interpret it to fit the passing affinities.
Very well argued and balanced arguments. I love his videos.
“Passing fashions” great terminology 👍
Superior valuable, may Allah reward you.

Yes, I do agree with you Paul, Jazakum Allahu khaira.

Brilliant topic...I think you have started something here Paul 😅
I have a question, since when the protectors are superior to the protected? Wouldn't we protect the more valuable things in life? When God says men are the protectors of women, why are we assuming it means men are superior, does the president protect his guards or is it the other way around?
anybody can answer this?
leaders doesnt men superior, though both have their role and superior in their own way. men in structural thinking, women in other thinkings.
i think is not about superiority but more about responsibility.
From my understanding I believe it relates to physical superiority. Men are naturally physically stronger and more able to protect women than the other way round, thus the responsibility of protecting falls on the males. And this instinct comes naturally to all of us, including young children (brother protecting his sister). And Allah knows best.
Very Clear!
Glad it was helpful!

Islam speaks about justice, equity and complementarity and not equality (which is in a modern ideological concept linked to modern states in their relations with men and women as citizens who pay taxes ... and strictly linked to the context of rich and developed countries)
On the other hand in Islam there are interpretations, especially in what has a relation with the "temporal" , therefore the juriprudences ... historically there have been a lot of legal schools (Madhab) which have very different points of view on laws and legal matters , and modern schools also exist and continue to appear .. so nothing really new
Dear Paul, Please check for Quran and Woman by amina wadud, for a powerful perspective.

Man will have to answer more to God compared to woman in issues regarding responsibility and hierarchy.
"FEMINISM erase GOD the Creator of all existences from the scene.
As a result a feminist is force to find her values in relation to a Man. She had accepted that Man is the standard, and thus a woman can never be full human being until she becomes just like a Man: the Standard."

Hence, do not covet the bounties which God has bestowed more abundantly on some of you than on others. Men shall have a benefit from what they earn, and women shall have a benefit from what they earn.
How come you don’t upload your videos on Facebook?
Surah 4:34 >> Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them [lightly]. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.
Qur'an 4:128
And if a woman has reason to fear ill-treatment from her husband, or that he might turn away from her, it shall not be wrong for the two to set things peacefully to rights between themselves: for peace is best, and selfishness is ever-present in human souls. But if you do good and are conscious of Him - behold, God is indeed aware of all that you do
Qur'an 4:35
If you fear a breach between the two, appoint an arbitrator from his people and an arbitrator from her people. If they both want to set things right, Allah will bring about reconciliation between them. Allah knows all, is well aware of everything.

You are right . Muslim men failed Muslim women by not given their rights in Islam.
Then men complain about why woman fight for their rights.
Men frustrate me by their real ignorance.
Just viewed 'No Time to Die'. In future, 007 is likely to be named Jane Bond. Moreover she would be black.
That's operational feminism for you.😛
You know this is my fav subject??

And whoever denies the faith - his work has become worthless, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.''

My conclusion:
The > BASIC < message of God to the human is that '' YOU '' believe in God and be kind to other human beings / > animals < and in the > RETURNED < God will > REWARD < you with a new life in Paradise.
* The Quran ONLY guides you how to become a good human being "Nothing Else".
* You are a good human being or a bad human being that is YOUR choice.
* No one can force you to become a good human being.
* You MUST work HARD to become a good human being.
* Why should ''YOU'' do good deeds and avoid bad deeds?
* Do Good - it's for You. Do Bad - It's against you.
* '' YOUR'' life is a TEST from God that you will choose to do either Good or Bad.
* Find the excuse to help others and forgive others NOT the other way around.
* '' YOUR '' final destination is either Hell or Heaven.
* So work HARD toward choice of YOUR destination.
Quran 17:7
'' If you do good, you will do so for your own good. And if you do evil, it will be to your own loss.''

Yes the prophet said that wemen’s are the partners of the men but not in all levels such as ability or other terms in family (When she was delivered, she said: "O my Lord! Behold! I am delivered of a female child!"- and Allah knew best what she brought forth- "And no wise is the male Like the female. I have named her Mary, and I commend her and her offspring to Thy protection from the Evil One, the Rejected."2/36
Allah swt created Adam (AH)before his wife. Is this inequality?

If you find me one verse in the Holy bible where Jesus (pbuh) HIMSELF Said EXACTLY (I'M YOUR GOD or where he said WORSHIP ME ) I'm ready to become Christian, because I know for a fact jesus is a mighty messenger of god and he can't tell a lie. If you find me one verse that says that, I'm ready to become a christian and get baptized today before tomorrow, But there isn't, all is there some verses that been taken out of context and misunderstood by christians and I'm ready to explain all these verses and the misconceptions that you have about it, if you give it to me verse by verse one by one.
@@asdsad7476 Jesus is called a man many times in the Bible:
.
"I am a MAN who has told you the truth that I heard from God."(John 8:40)
.
"Jesus the Nazarene, a MAN attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know.’ (Acts 2:22)
.
"He will judge the world in righteousness through a MAN whom He has appointed". (Acts 17:31)
.
"the MAN Christ Jesus" (Tim. 2:5)
.
The Bible often calls Jesus ‘a son of man’ or ‘the son of man:
.
"so will the son of man be" (Matthew12:40)
.
"For the son of man is going to come" (Matthew 16:27)
.
"until they see the son of man coming in His kingdom."(Matthew 28)
.
"But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority’ (Mark 2:10)
.
"because he is the son of man’ (John5:27)
.
Bible says that God is not man:
.
"God is not a man" (Numbers 23:19)
.
"For I am God, and not man"
(Hosea 11:9)
.
The Bible says that God is not a son of man:
.
"God is not a man nor a son of man"(Numbers 23:19)
.
Since God would not contradict Himself by first saying He is not the son of a man, then becoming a human being who was called ‘the son of man’, he would not have done so.
.
Remember God is not the author of confusion.
.
Also, human beings, including Jesus, are called ‘son of man’ specifically to distinguish them from God, who is not a ‘son of man’ according to the Bible.
Feminism is a modernist term used by the intellectually weak and misguided.
I am a feminist . feminism to me is getting equal opportunities just like man . I am not talking about biological equality .
Men and women have different roles. They are not 'equal'.
And there is nothing wrong with that.
An advice for our Muslim sisters, mothers and daughters, … : "Run away from Islam". You will find a safer haven in Christ.
@Sharla Weng Christ means, The Messiah, which means The Savior, The Anointed One.
God is The Savior, and He has extended His Salvation to us, having Anointed His own Word, Jesus-Christ to save from their sins those who believe in Him (Matthew 1:21-23)
... Because no human being can save themselves from their mountains of sins and from hell.
Only God can save us. And He did it through His Word that He sent ... Jesus-Christ (John 1:1-14 ; John 3:16)
