    Did it come out where the image can stretch with the shirt every time I try to do on black it ends up stiff feels like a piece of paper just pressed on

    Thank you so much, informative and easy to follow steps!! I am fairly new in this, my sublimation paper pressing temperature and times are different from the HTVRONT. For an example, my sublimation paper is recommending 190⁰C for 90 min. Should I use the HTVRONT or sublimation paper instructions when when sublimating the image?

    If you put your cricut dial on custom and pick your vinyl or cutting settings in design space you will have so many more options (flock vinyl etc). I use infusible ink setting fo cut it or everyday iron on.

    ok this looks cool thank you for showing us step by step but how about if the image has small small cut like inside for example ? do we have to like contour and hid those spaces for a clean prefect cut around the edge please help and thanks again?

    • @stacyodesigns
      @stacyodesigns  8 місяців тому +1

      That is exactly how I do that. Create the offset, and any little spaces that the offset doesn't cover inside, I just add shapes over them and unite them with the offset.

    Hi quick question so for the print design do use the same htvront the one you showed there and the outer outline is the same htvront from the nice envelope ?

    • @stacyodesigns
      @stacyodesigns  8 місяців тому

      hmmm, I'm not 100% following your question. But,...all that I used in this project was the 1 sheet of HTVRONT sublimation HTV that was out of the big blue envelope. I hope I answered what you were asking.

    Hi great tutorial 👍 I am new to this so am i correct in saying sublimation printers can not print white ink so for the white part at the top your sublimation epson printer just printed around the the wave effect and left the white sublimation paper to create the white effect? Basically it did not print the white part it only printed around it?

    • @stacyodesigns
      @stacyodesigns  3 місяці тому +1

      Yes. Sublimation does dot print white. So the printer will see white or transparent areas and just ignore them if there is no color.

    Hi there I’m a bit new to this, but what’s the difference between this style and DTF with the adhesive powder?

    • @stacyodesigns
      @stacyodesigns  4 місяці тому

      This is a sublimatable HTV. Similiar to Siser Easysubli. DTF is a hole differnt process. Unless you are referring the the DTF sublimation hack. In which case you cant press onto black - but could press the design onto white HTV.

      Yes, this is sublimatable HTV :) You can press right onto it.

    I always do that, and the vinyl always comes out bigger than the picture on the sublimation paper why.

    • @stacyodesigns
      @stacyodesigns  3 місяці тому

      That could be due to resolution differences. You want to import your image as 72 dpi. (which is not ideal for print, but with DS - it is what it is)

  • @postalape5500
    @postalape5500 6 місяців тому

    So I don’t have to use an offset or flatten the image?

    • @stacyodesigns
      @stacyodesigns  3 місяці тому

      You don't HAVE to do an offset. Only if you want a border around your image. Only flatten the layers of the image itself. You want the image on one layer for a print then cut.

  • @5Servidor
    @5Servidor 4 місяці тому

    When you say offset Is something you Perform in the circuit design space

    • @bear_with_the_honey
      @bear_with_the_honey 3 місяці тому

      Yes offset is on cricut design space on the top tool bar near the middle

    • @stacyodesigns
      @stacyodesigns  3 місяці тому

      Yes, offset creates a border. The function is within DS.

    what's the validity of the print?? I mean how many wash??

    • @stacyodesigns
      @stacyodesigns  3 місяці тому

      Well,......after the first wash, there was no change. I would say by the 3rd, it started getting a little blurry. Since then, there has been significant dye migration in the white areas. :(

    Things I wish I had known before I started my crafting journey:
    I wish CRICUT would allow you to PRINT THEN CUT on the full page. I also wish that would enable their software to DRAG AND DROP images onto the canvas instead of having to go through all these changes… jumping through all those hoops. And why can’t we SAVE OUR PROJECTS TO OUR OWN COMPUTER as well as to Design Space cloud storage?

    • @stacyodesigns
      @stacyodesigns  3 місяці тому

      I am with you on ALL of that! I rarely design within DS for that reason.

    When I washed mine my white background part got dark colors on it I’m guessing from the shirt it’s self should I be washing the dark shirts before pressing would that prevent that from happening?

    • @stacyodesigns
      @stacyodesigns  10 місяців тому +1

      I purposely used an image with significant white areas to check for this. It didn't occur for me. Technically you are not supposed to wash the shirt before pressing because the soap can deter the adhesion. What brand of shirt? Also, how long did you wait before washing? I usually try to wait at least 72 hours. It could be the ink reactivating that actually made the marks.

    • @toniwilliams1152
      @toniwilliams1152 10 місяців тому

      @@stacyodesigns it was the leopard black shirt from jiffy and I waited over 72 hrs before it was washed that why I was thinking it was the black from the shirt that came onto the white parts

      @toniwilliams1152 10 місяців тому

      I wish I could send a pic so I can show you what I’m talking about lol the image itself didn’t run or fade just in the parts that are suppose to be white are not white like they were it’s like the shirt ink came through the backside of the white htv or something

      @@stacyodesigns then I did the same thing where I have not had any problems pressing but I did a black cotton shirt and the htv turned grey after I pressed my sublimation print it blew my mind because it was suppose to have been white?? What would have caused that you think? I did the same settings as before I did the 10 sec tak down for the htv then bumped up the temp to 392 and pressed the sublimation for 50 sec
