@@KyleMillis He's gone sub 2:08 once and doing a double in the same session. Home country isn't always an advantage. And Qin holds the WR. Not sure how the odds favor Marchand

Not sure about Bowman's rotation advice. Phelps was arguably over-rotating late in his career.
Totally hear ya - I think he does a good job of it, but then again, I’m not watching him DAILY like Bob does. I’m sure he knows what he’s talking about!

and currently thats Dressel
I agree and the most prestigious event is 100m free but Dressel now is not the same Dressel 3 years ago. Him taking a break from swimming made him lose in the US olympic trials and unfortunately won't see him defend his 100m free against Popovici, Pan and Kyle.
@@boggartblue2574 the fastest is the one who owns the 50m freestyle world record. That guy is not Dressel but Cesar Cielo, the truly faster swimmer ever.

Leon Marchand is not the fastest swimmer in the world. This has been happening since Michael Phelps era, Phelps is with no doubt the best swimmer ever but never was the fastest swimmer either. The fastest stroke in swimming is Crawl (or freestyle) since it's the stroke swimmers reach the highest speed with, having said so the fastest swimmer in the world must be a freestyler. The event the freestylers reach the highest speed is 50m freestyle so the fastest swimmer in the world is the one who owns the 50m freestyle world record and at this moment that guy is Cesar Cielo.
