I need to make a display case for my mother few of black women in militay Intelligence. I need to research here unit because and present here display case to display proudly before she passes. So if anyone no of the military intelligence medals and commemorative patches please help me out on my research. She was in one of the biggest bases in name long bin if I am saying it correctly. 68, 69 I believe was her tour.
My 2nd tour in Nam was with A/227 AHB 1st Cav 70-71. Still wear my 1st Cav ball cap, I'm 72 years old.
My dad always till he passed wore his D.co 2/8th Cav Angry Skipper platoon hat. Much love in my family for the First Team!
Served with B troop, 1/9th Cav in 1969 and then served with Medevac, 15th Med Bn, 1 ACD in 1970.
Served 11th AVN GRP 1st Cav at Bong Son, and Camp Evens. March 67 to March 68
