Hearing Willy recite all the shit that's happened in his life solidifies a theory I've had for a while; some people are just cursed. And I say that as someone who was probably at least lightly cursed. Willy my dude, Idk what we did in a prior life or who's wrath we brought down, but cursed human solidarity.

I don't have the heart for details but I'm literally cursed. People genuinely and truly have something targeting them LMFAO. bad luck isn't real it's TARGETED.
It's usually to nerf them down to the rest of us. Matt is unfathomably hot and immediately talented at anything he picks up, and so he's been nerfed with every tragedy that you could possibly imagine all in rapid succession. It's give and take. We're all G-d's OC's and sometimes he just wants to make a Mary Sue with a dark and tragic backstory. You just gotta make sure the trauma makes you cool hot and edgy enough to fit right in in a tween girl's sonic fanfiction.

Willie's 14 "pity" facts about himself made me surprised with both fascination and unease. (He is such a fascinating/crazy/wonderful person)
I refuse to believe the last one about his parents, it is too sad and insane.
Willie is ridiculously self depreciating, drawfee is always a light fun show with silly energy but Willie brings an energy that doesn't fit. I don't enjoy the episodes with him as a guest as much as the regular episodes 🤷♀️

The only attack is called "M'Crystal" and you can learn it at every level

I just wanna say, Willie is by far my favourite guest on drawfee. I watch drawfee for comfort and enjoy the sameness of the regular cast, so when I see they have a guest on, even a guest I'm familiar with, I often skip the episode to watch when I'm more open to new things, but whenever I see that it's Willy I'm always actively excited. He brings this wonderful subdued chaos energy that I think meshes with the drawfee crew perfectly 🥰 Thanks for being you, Willy ☺

To answer Willie's "Why would they build waterparks in Wisconsin" question, most of the major waterpark chains in Wisconsin Dells have indoor portions. As someone who used to visit the dells a lot as a kid, I can confirm.

As a (brazilian) portuguese speaker who’s also obsessed with languages, european portuguese is pretty much spanish but be russian about it, because they’re both stress-time languages. Brazilian portuguese sounds a lot more like spanish because we kinda just went and made portuguese syllable-timed. Good job Willie!

My first thought was Masquerain, I was so disappointed when mine lost its water type on evolution.
It's actually the six flags that have flown over Texas, historically: Spain, Mexico, France, Texas, the Confederacy, and the USA. And yes, that means it had a Confederate themed section for a while
except for Laredo which has a seventh flag, the flag of the Republic of the Rio Grande (aka the only flag to fly for less time than the Confederate one)

for future reference, the name "Six Flags" is a reference to the six separate nations that have claimed sovereignty over Texas in the past. Six Flags Fiesta is sometimes just called the "Alamo" park because it's in San Antonio, but the origin of the park name doesn't have to do with that specifically :)

"To speak Portuguese you just speak Spanish but be Russian about it" is the most succinct, concise, accurate description of Portuguese I have ever heard. every time I hear someone speak Portuguese out in public I think it's about 20 different languages (the first being Russian) before remembering Portuguese exists. As a native Spanish speaker, I can read Portuguese almost fluently, cause the written language is very similar, but I cannot even begin to comprehend how to pronounce any of the words, let alone understand the spoken language. I'm so delighted by Willy's explanation.

Pokedex entry 2: When a Sableye gets overwhelmed by it's possessive nature, it hides in a dark cave and hoards jewels until it metamorphoses into Clark.

Portuguese here, and Willie was right. Portuguese language is very similar to Spanish but, when spoken, it sounds similar to Russian. So yes, Portuguese is Russian Spanish.

The reason Wisconsin has so many waterparks is because it used to make a lot of money off of river tours. They took that idea and placed it inside so it could be used year-round, and because one of the more popular attractions in the tri-state area. Because of this it grew and grew and now the whole city is basically just water parks.
It is very much worth going there, even from out of state. But yeah, very strange the cheese state is popular for water slides.
100% confirm. The Dells are worth a visit. It's the Vegas of waterslides, go-carts, and corny roadside attractions.

Fun fact: Capturing and battling Pokemon 100% requires their consent, and battling them before capture *is* about gaining their respect! That's why you can't capture them by making them faint, they can't consent while unconscious, and why sometimes Pokemon leave their pokeballs at random even after officially joining their trainers, they can't be forced to stay in them. And while battling them is the most common way to gain their respect, some trainers gain consent by simply asking their Pokemon to join them (James does it a few times in the anime, and I think Ash does it at least once), and in the case of Ash and Pikachu, Ash gained Pikachu's trust and respect by protecting him from wild Pokemon. Before that Pikachu had refused to stay in a pokeball, or to battle with Ash.
I love everything about all of this. Also I believe Willie's pronunciation of Dedene is correct. De-de-nay 😊 is how they say it in the English dub anime at least.
I looked it up, apparently Dedenne is named partly for the French word for antenna (which is antenne), and it's pronounced basically like "tehn". So it SHOULD be "Dedehnn" instead of "De-de-nay". The English dub doesn't even say Pokemon correctly most of the time, also.
