WHY are hardly any hermits playing this game? I am OBSESSED. I hope Tango, Skizz, and Pearl keep playing and streaming because I am down to watch at least 50 more hours. As soon as the game was stable I was ready for the season to end so I can play it myself!
I’m the same way, every day I’m refreshing YT checking for vods of more people playing. Really hoping Joel plays cuz when he gets invested he gets really intense (see etho’s frogger)
The hungry hermits streams are the best. I could watch anyone play this game, but there's just something special about the way Tango and you play. There are so many laughs I love it. Please keep making these streams when you can.

Hey Skizz, Just wanted to say don't be afraid when you're in the freezer to throw the meat onto the iron trapdoors if you don't "double ding" that way when you can get more snowballs and throw again. I think making the most of each time you're in the freezer is one of the biggest things you can do for a run.

I showed my friend this! here’s and easy summary of our recent session playing we decided to attempt the challenge mode this week, where during one of the rounds they saw the ghost shapeshift on the camera during multiple hunts and didnt think it counted so she never told me until I struggling to decide if it was actually an oni or not. I laughed so much and guessed obake after that. It was right.
I've got a time-saver tip! When you're crafting golden carrots/melons and you have that one awkward leftover nugget - you don't need to spend time trying to place it back into one of your hotbar slots, just close your inventory and it'll zap to an empty spot instantly! In older minecraft versions, doing that used to throw the item on the ground - but they changed that at some point - so it might be tough to re-learn haha, but it'll save you a few important seconds in those stressful moments!
Two people not seeing each other while running towards the pressure plate or door is because of the latency (client->server->client) so on both your clients the other person runs behind you, but on the server you both walk basically inside each other. :)
The fact that it's two player goes a long way imo. I think I like decked out better, but I'm surprised at how well this has turned out. I never expected to like it all that much, but it's been fun ever since he finished it

I will always prefer a YT stream if it's available. I love that you can pause it and come back and you don't have to miss parts of the stream constantly. Twitch makes me feel like "welp, not every second of this stream is important enough for you to experience", which I disagree with.
Dude I dreamed about my SLEEP DOCTOR after the first day that I met him. The man who would later literally watch me sleep. So weird. And I felt really comfortable and safe in that dream, too. It's a good thing, but also surreal, because it's actually super creepy to see someone pull up on their computer an entire timeline of your several hours in bed and see how clear the night vision is and be informed of what's on the audio file, too. I wasn't anticipating that.
Streaming on UA-cam is better for me, and probably countless others. I live in Australia and Optus is my Telco, the set top box and package only support/allow certain 3rd party apps to be installed, Twitch isn't one. Also, my Samsung TVs don't support Twitch. As such you'll definitely reach a wider audience.
Uber Ruber could be behind an iron door or trapdoor that's only opened when Tango plays. Or a sticky piston that lowers a block to expose him, this would be more aesthetic than the iron. Additionally, could you suggest a single player option that opens the doors. I, and many others no doubt, am keen to see Pearl play alone, which will also start another "competition".
In all seriousness, if you two want the top score then tango NEEDS to spend more time playing front of house. He doesn't have the live gameplay loop ingrained well enough to synergize off of it.

I kinda get what you're trying to say, I think, but it's the "live gameplay loop" part that I don't really know what that means. Is that the term (phrase?) to describe the repetitive functions and intricacies of a given role in a game?

I just think he holds himself back in plateup and is bringing the same hangup to hungry hermits. It''s a similar problem that tango has with plateup. He never, ever, plays front of house. He only ever plays the kitchen side. So while he understands the mechanics of the front of house, he doesn't play it enough to actually know how to bounce off the player in that position well. Front of the house is a much more difficult job in both games because it's dynamic in a way that back of house isn't, and you can't play it like everything has a set timing and routine that you can follow like you can in the kitchen. Tango even explicitly mentions in a vod a week or two ago that he thinks plate up is a game that isn't dynamic and where you have set routines to follow and I practically screamed, because it's so far from the truth. He really needs to get a handle on the dynamic element he refuses to engage with (it stresses him out because he plays it like it's the kitchen) so that he knows what his duo needs just like his duo knows what he needs. Plateup is one of my favorite games and tango has knocked hungry hermits out of the park because he is a SERIOUSLY talented game dev, but he absolutely has only ever played half of the game (and even then he rejects a lot of the strats pearl suggests when they play because he thinks the game loop is just the kitchen one).

Wow, it's shocking to see how easily Hermitcraft turned on one of its own without the full story. Iskall85 was wrongfully canceled, and it's heartbreaking to see friendships and lives crumble over unfounded allegations. Instead of supporting a fellow member until proven otherwise, it seems like the community has lost its way. Shame on you for not standing by Iskall when he needed it most. Everyone should watch his video and see the truth behind the betrayal!

Why? The farmers can store their wares on the ground.
there's kinda no worth to putting one item on a frame while you can just throw a stack on the ground without worrying about it
