Per Karina’s request: 1. I would weasel my way into his inner life by offering my services as a personal assistant. He may be a hot mess, but messes can be cleaned. So I would convince him that he really needs to dry clean his clothes to maintain their quality and avoid irritation to his smooth, delicate skin. If ever suspected, I would have the perfect scapegoat: “Oh, your business crop top seems longer now? It must have grown in the wash. They do say that their ultra conditioning cleaning process can actually lengthen and relax the fibers of your clothing.” 2. Through meticulous soothing gaslighting, I would lull him into passive non-objection as his wardrobe becomes increasingly more professional and less eccentric with each trip to the cleaners. He may suspect the manipulation, but by this point, the constant flattery and chocolates are too intoxicating to stop. Now here comes the fun part: 4. As our relationship grows, I will start dressing more casually- occasionally incorporating in a scarf here, some tights there that whisper of a vivacious nearly forgotten past. This will make me seem both familiar and exciting, and soon we’ll start seeing more and more of each other. 5. When he starts suggesting more fashionable outfits for me, I’ll know that the transformation is complete and it’s time to sign him up for marketing emails from jewelers and makers of fine engagement rings. 6. On the night he pops the question, I’ll have tears in my eyes, not from the dazzling ring but from the grey 3 piece brushed cachemire suit with Italian leather shoes and coordinating cuff links he’s wearing. Not a galaxy nor cat ear in sight. Do I take full credit for this amazing transformation? Yes, “I do.” 7. The grand finale comes on the eve of our wedding when I round the corner of the church and he catches his first glimpse of me from the altar. His eyes widen in surprise and a myriad of disparate feelings overtake him. He drops to his knees, struggling for breath as I take my first steps down the aisle, sandals slapping my sheer-tight clad feet. Every eye in the room travels up my meticulously scarved calves to my cropped galaxy cat printed leggings, skimming over my sinfully bare midriff to my lime green business crop top and skinny black tie. Murmurs of confusion rise to a dull rumble as the crowd regains their breath. I reach up to my (cat) ears, flick a switch, and all goes silent. I stand before him now and extend a garishly manicured hand to help him from his knees. As I pull him close to me, our eyes lock and I see a slight smile play across his lips tempered by a wariness in his eyes. I return a knowing smile. This is my hot mess CEO husband, and now he knows who’s the boss.
that sounds great tbh, it'd have to be one of those wide bags made of thicker canvas that feel really sturdy and like they can fit a ton of stuff, maybe even with an additional pocket on the inside to hold pens or a drawing glove
Karina scrawling down the notes for her outfit, running out of room, and continuing sort of slanted across the bottom of the screen is my spirit animal
I thought we’d be treated to a Julia fashion but instead we got a feature length Karina fashion, and it was INCREDIBLE (can you do another make up work episode like last year and maybe Julia can do this?)
Multi studded belts was peak fashion in high school. I liked to rock one black, and one colored, but really they didn't even function as belts. Then just kinda hung from one or 2 belt loops each, while a shoe string held up my pants.
7:30 I'm not sure how unknown a fact this is at this point, but the "I'm walkin' here" was an absolute adlib when he *actually and completely unintentionally* almost got hit by a car on a closed set, and never left character, just kept acting out the scene.
I had to look it up, myself, cus even though I knew the fact, I haven't seen the movie, lol. Dustin Hoffman in Midnight Cowboy. He's crossing the street having a conversation when a car literally almost hits him. He plays it off so smoothly that you'd think it was planned as part of the script, but no, he frigging improv'd an in-character reaction to almost getting hit by a car and continued to play out the scene.
Finally got around to watching! Jacob’s Gwen/Riley having two names they use in different situations is very nonbinary vibes and also I am in love with them.
The whole thing about "when you're in a Zoom meeting you only need to be dressed on the upper torso" -- universe-brain, if you wear a midriff-baring shirt that cuts off right below where the Zoom window ends so it looks like you're wearing a whole shirt, it's a doubly apropos use of the term "crop top"
I immediately thought of what the Claw Cult trauma art piece would be. it would be a room where the floor is decorated like a galaxy, but the ceiling is the ground, grassy and stuff. then the claw picks you up, representing how you think the claw lifts you up but it really is pulling you down trapping you and your potential.
Plot twist: for Karina's character after all the attempts at fixing the CEO, the main character ends up adopting the CEO's avant garde style of dressing up and their wedding is just one giant fashion mess. But moral of the story is just do you boo boo
I wouldn't fix hot mess CEO, I would make him worse!! I would introduce him to tacky dad shirts with arcade carpet print. I would show him those tights with little cat outlines on them. I would give him crocs.
Just wanted to say, I'm in an awful place (today more than any other day in a long time I wish that I had died with my mom) but hearing Julia make that "his name is Arty Bag" joke only to be met with the loudest silence I've ever heard got a laugh out of me, which is something I didn't think I was capable of doing right now. Suggestion: Draw “Random Word Generator” Witches. Ended up getting ones like ‘Virus’ Witch, ‘Medal’ Witch, ‘Detective’ Witch, ‘Laundry’ Witch, ‘Guitar’ Witch, and ‘Cheese’ Witch. Just sounds like a fun time. 😊
For anyone looking for art inspiration, I ran the random word generator to get different witches and today got the following: ‘Soda’ Witch, ‘Colored Pencils’ Witch, and ‘Unicycle’ Witch For zanier ones here two word combo prompts: ‘Cupcake Dog’ Witch ‘Diamond Train’ Witch ‘Gravity Garbage’ Witch
Love this prompt! And the fact that Julia had 9 more waiting to go is so encouraging. Would love a sequel of this. Also Karina is right as usual, the Christmas Caramelldansen slaps so hard.
When Jacob mentioned “manual walking” I thought I was the only one who did that, I start to really concentration on how I walk because I think I’m gonna start looking weird since I know realize I’m walking
Half way through the video and Karina starts: "oh, i guess that means Julia will draw a characrter with one of the other 9 prompts she selected" Reality - Karina 3/4 into the video: "second sketch."
I have never felt "I can make him worse" energy more strongly than my looking at Hot Mess CEO.... karina and I are love rivals in that she is trying to fix him and I am giving him sincere but insane fashion advice like I do with all of my friends ❤️ I love bad clothes
Julia suggested listening to Guts' theme while the video played, so I did, and the soulful vocalization hit right as Jacob said, "I'm gonna garf" so I think it's safe to say this was the greatest idea they've ever had
I'm pretty sure that if I had a talk about fashion with the Hot Mess CEO he'd end up wearing short shorts over leggings because that's my favorite outfit rn
I love how Jacob's immediate name for Gwen was Riley. If I remember right he already made a character named Riley so that name must be living in his head constantly haha LOVE all these new characters!
Literally any time an episode devolves into everyone yelling in the Italian American accent I immediately hit the like button. Will watch 10 more times guaranteed.
I checked the length of the episode after Jacob finished and thought “huh, that’s weird, Julia’s getting a turn even though she’s hosting, Nope! Just Karina being Karina :)
Anybody else saw that there was still half the episode left when Karina started drawing, wondered if Julia decided to draw something (even though they generally do not draw when they are handing out the prompts), ran their cursor along the progress bar and saw that Karina's was, in fact, the rest of the half hour, and got very excited.

Yes, “I do.”
This is a masterpiece🧡
An Art Bag canvas tote would be an excellent addition to the DFTBA shop. I'd buy one.
that sounds great tbh, it'd have to be one of those wide bags made of thicker canvas that feel really sturdy and like they can fit a ton of stuff, maybe even with an additional pocket on the inside to hold pens or a drawing glove
Yeah, me too!!
+
I’d totally get one!
Agreed!!
Karina has never seen Brendon Urie walk or else she would've recognized him for sure, his face and voice just weren't enough
The COMPLETE silence after julias joke completely killed me
Karina scrawling down the notes for her outfit, running out of room, and continuing sort of slanted across the bottom of the screen is my spirit animal
In all seriousness, I would watch a full episode of the Drawfee crew designing toilet paper designs/patterns.
Same honestly, toilet paper designs are just too boring, we need to think about toilet paper more.
Please.
I thought we’d be treated to a Julia fashion but instead we got a feature length Karina fashion, and it was INCREDIBLE (can you do another make up work episode like last year and maybe Julia can do this?)
the fact that Nathan's friendly art creature looks so much like several illustration students at my uni is amazing.
including the 3rd eye and green skin?

Multi studded belts was peak fashion in high school. I liked to rock one black, and one colored, but really they didn't even function as belts. Then just kinda hung from one or 2 belt loops each, while a shoe string held up my pants.
7:30 I'm not sure how unknown a fact this is at this point, but the "I'm walkin' here" was an absolute adlib when he *actually and completely unintentionally* almost got hit by a car on a closed set, and never left character, just kept acting out the scene.
Didn't even know this was a movie line
what movie is it from?
@@kaipoland3174 youtube told me midnight cowboy
Who?
I had to look it up, myself, cus even though I knew the fact, I haven't seen the movie, lol.
Dustin Hoffman in Midnight Cowboy. He's crossing the street having a conversation when a car literally almost hits him. He plays it off so smoothly that you'd think it was planned as part of the script, but no, he frigging improv'd an in-character reaction to almost getting hit by a car and continued to play out the scene.
The silence after Julia said “Artie bag” was life ending
I get so hyped seeing an hour long video from the Drawfreaks
They should rename the show to drawfreaks
Sameeee
#drawfreaks
Where are the 9 minutes that aren't on my "hour" long video?
Me too, because I'm always hoping it'll finally be the toilet paper episode.
Can you even imagine the disappointment I felt today?
Nathan going "is that allowed?" had the same energy as that scene in Avatar where Sokka asks if it was okay that he drew a rainbow on his landscape
why is jacob literally drawing someone I'd see freshman year of college in my artsy dorm and immediately develop a crush on
Haven’t watched the video yet, but I feel like that describes quite a few of Jacob’s oc’s. I can’t wait to meet this one.
“Hey. Like, welcome and stuff.”
sounds like there's more than one romance manwha being proposed in this episode
Finally got around to watching! Jacob’s Gwen/Riley having two names they use in different situations is very nonbinary vibes and also I am in love with them.
@@lizzienorton5154 we love a Drawfee nonbinary icon
Julia has mastered the "looking like I'm on my way to murder someone" walk. Game recognizes game.
this episode has great sims 4 randomized outfit energy
I've gotten two sims 4 ads while watching this episode so this is fitting
Omg they're townies
THANKS, Nathan, for making me breath manually for almost TWO MINUTES
Thanks for making me breathe manually AFTER DOING IT FOR TWO MINUTES WHEN THEY FIRST MENTIONED IT

We LOVE it when Karina is literally half of the entire episode!!! *not sarcastic - she is the best*
mother always gives us such delicious food
The boys: cute characters and pretty horses
The girls: "Karina, your vibes are [C U R S E D]"
The whole thing about "when you're in a Zoom meeting you only need to be dressed on the upper torso" -- universe-brain, if you wear a midriff-baring shirt that cuts off right below where the Zoom window ends so it looks like you're wearing a whole shirt, it's a doubly apropos use of the term "crop top"
Pun!
I immediately thought of what the Claw Cult trauma art piece would be. it would be a room where the floor is decorated like a galaxy, but the ceiling is the ground, grassy and stuff. then the claw picks you up, representing how you think the claw lifts you up but it really is pulling you down trapping you and your potential.
i can’t believe the artist who went to school for fashion design didn’t draw in this episode
“I would give him crocs” lol
Just wanted to say, I'm in an awful place (today more than any other day in a long time I wish that I had died with my mom) but hearing Julia make that "his name is Arty Bag" joke only to be met with the loudest silence I've ever heard got a laugh out of me, which is something I didn't think I was capable of doing right now. It felt nice.
I hope things start looking up for you and that a bunch of hilarious things happen in your vicinity!
I hope things are going better for you now, Im not doing great either so I've been using drawfee to distract me
How you doing, champ? Still hanging in there?
@@DullPoints Still hanging in there! I can't really say my life has done a 180 and I'm all better now, but things at least aren't as bad as they were so I'd like to think that's a step in the right direction. :) Hope you have a lovely day!

I actually did have "For Gatsu/Guts' Theme" playing softly in the background for this episode after being prompted.
It definitely added a sombre overtone, but not an unpleasant one. Do recommend.
For anyone looking for art inspiration, I ran the random word generator to get different witches and today got the following:
‘Soda’ Witch, ‘Colored Pencils’ Witch, and ‘Unicycle’ Witch
For zanier ones here two word combo prompts:
‘Cupcake Dog’ Witch
‘Diamond Train’ Witch
‘Gravity Garbage’ Witch
I love this idea 😂
Oh hey Ik you from the SSS discord 👋🏽
That's actually pretty cool.
Very oldschool-style drawfee suggestion
These are my favourite kinds of Drawfee prompts. The ones that are really specific but also leave a bunch of room open for creative interpretation.
Jacob is out here making hundreds of thousands of people think about how they are breathing 😩
And blinking
Haven't gotten to that part yet when I read this and now I am manually breathing, blinking, and walking 😭
And you’re out here making me think for the second time today about how I’m breathing
@@Aeiouaaaaaaaaa fr I wasn't even really bothered until this comment
Dang, Julia's dad joke got the most genuine begrudging smile outta me in a while. ty
as someone who thinks early 2000's fashion unironically slapped: i don't want to fix hot mess ceo. i want to make him worse.
"Sir, have you heard of frosted tips?"
".... go on."
Gwen Riley looks like a should-have-been-included character from Psychonauts, love it!
TRUE
Rando: "Just. WEAR. PANTS!"
CEO: "What."
10/10 best character
Love this prompt! And the fact that Julia had 9 more waiting to go is so encouraging. Would love a sequel of this.
Also Karina is right as usual, the Christmas Caramelldansen slaps so hard.
"My Hot Mess CEO" sounds like webtoon comic.
I was just waiting for someone to finally connect and say Hot Mess BusiNess.
I would read it in a heartbeat ngl 😂
When Jacob mentioned “manual walking” I thought I was the only one who did that, I start to really concentration on how I walk because I think I’m gonna start looking weird since I know realize I’m walking
Half way through the video and Karina starts: "oh, i guess that means Julia will draw a characrter with one of the other 9 prompts she selected"
Reality - Karina 3/4 into the video: "second sketch."
Someone had to harness the Julia energy
I have never felt "I can make him worse" energy more strongly than my looking at Hot Mess CEO.... karina and I are love rivals in that she is trying to fix him and I am giving him sincere but insane fashion advice like I do with all of my friends ❤️ I love bad clothes
Nathan’s prompt sounds exactly like something grandma would wear.
people who don't watch drawtectives are gonna think you have the chillest grandma
YES JUST YES
Was about to comment Nathan's prompt sounds like season 1 Grendan
The way Jacob just make shapes and lines are so smooth and satisfying just like how Karina whips out a dynamic pose out of nowhere
“That is some art kid fashion: oversized shirt with some jorts.”
Looks down at my outfit: fuck, wait-
Same though, except also a backwards cap and felt targeted
I'm close to that ngl, some type of pants with an oversized hoodie 😂😂
I’m oversized shirt with jeans, so I’m close too
Julia suggested listening to Guts' theme while the video played, so I did, and the soulful vocalization hit right as Jacob said, "I'm gonna garf" so I think it's safe to say this was the greatest idea they've ever had
"Nathan's Creature Era" sounds like the name of an ending in a Fromsoft game
I'm pretty sure that if I had a talk about fashion with the Hot Mess CEO he'd end up wearing short shorts over leggings because that's my favorite outfit rn
I thought during the sketch the bag said “art bae” and I would absolutely buy that tote.
Yeaah!! I read that too bdbdbd
I love how Jacob's immediate name for Gwen was Riley. If I remember right he already made a character named Riley so that name must be living in his head constantly haha
LOVE all these new characters!
Jacob just loves giving young edgy tomboy style characters the name Riley. Lol.

havent seen karina's render yet but the ankle belt does look like a house arrest anklet which honestly completes the vibe for me
I can't believe Jacob made me manual breath for this episode!
this comment made me manual breathe
I'm actually grateful because my physiotherapist tells me I breathe wrong. Thanks Jacob and thank you for drawing my attention to it again 😂
You can tell by the way he uses his walk, he's a drawing man, no time to talk
I checked the length of the episode after Jacob finished and thought “huh, that’s weird, Julia’s getting a turn even though she’s hosting,
Nope! Just Karina being Karina :)
I just did the same thing lol
I thought she was going to draw a man in suit with a motorcycle helmet tbh
Anybody else saw that there was still half the episode left when Karina started drawing, wondered if Julia decided to draw something (even though they generally do not draw when they are handing out the prompts), ran their cursor along the progress bar and saw that Karina's was, in fact, the rest of the half hour, and got very excited.
As someone w bad eyesight who never wears glasses, walking is an essential identifier. Edit: I appreciate ppls concern but i do have glasses! I just often forget to use them unless i immediately need them, this was just a lighthearted comment

@@reginacoeli7106 (it doesn't hurt that im 5'10 tho so pls be aware im speaking with a bias and a slight natural advantage xD but i also used these as a child and they worked fine so)
How i was taught was:
Stand up straight, shoulders back, chin up - maybe even add a slight glare for affect. Take long strides and , MOST IMPORTANTLY: use your entire body to emphasize where you're headed so others can pick up on it. (ive used waving/pointing my hand left/right when im about to turn, or tilting my head. etc).
Basically (if you can drive) think of it as using turn signals, or merging lanes, etc. There is crowd language toward where people are going. use it to your advantage.
My mother taught me a different tip which im not sure how helpful it is? But ill share anyway:
Imagine a loved one is injured and you're going to get them.
Literally just walk with direction, speed and purpose and you should be good! Hope that helps
