I knew I recognised that accent! I am from Whitehaven and I am in the process of buying a VW crafter to convert. I look forward to watching more of your videos and popping into your bros shop for some advice. All the best mate

Hi Sam loving the videos but for future reference as a Mercedes master tech just to the left where you unplug the electrics on the sender there is a little nipple. If you drill a hole in that it is a spare stack pipe where you fit the fuel pipe at the factory for additional diesel heaters so basically you don’t have to take the pump/ sender out at all . Regards lee

Hi Lee thanks for the comment I was my intention to use that nipple but when we got the pump unit out there was no pipe work on the inside as expected we bought the stand pipe just incase there was a problem and I'm glad we did or my van would have been off the road for a few days
This pump unit was a Mercedes part as well so we couldn't understand why it would be different🤔
as they say every days a school day and we learned a lot that day 😁

I think there is a kit for it where you add a T piece in to the main line not sure how reliable it is or if it causes any issues
