No mine is stock, they run amazing right out of the box, best running FI KTM 4 stroke I have ever ridden or owned. Doesn't have the "Flame out" problem of the race bikes and the emissions bikes
Stock gearing is 13/52, not 14/52. Way too short. 500s come with 14/48 stock. And I gear those down to 14/50. 13/52 is stupid low for these 450s. Aside from that tiny detail, this is the best bike KTM has put out, in my opinion. I've had 3 500s since 2020. All got Vortex, desmog, etc. This bike needs nothing. It's powerful and quiet. A little peppier to rev up, which is nice for technical riding. Still lugs like a beast. I absolutely love it. I ride the whole range of off-road bikes: have a TE250i, and an EX450F, as well one 500 still. 450XCF-W is the best. That spoke finish might be nitriding.
Hey yes I assumed it was a 14 but noticed it was a 13 the other day. I would agree best bike they have made in a long time and yet nothing is new other than the combination of parts. Im putting 14-48 gearing on it this week for the desert then ill post part 2
I see guys putting ecu’s on these 450xcf-w why? It has a map switch, are they not good from oem?

What sprockets should I throw on my 23 450xcfw for riding the roads. 1,2,3 on the bike now are pretty much useless

In europe this is a racebike we dont use xc models
