    perfect... I am a lenovo person, but I was presented with a good offer with the elitebook 745 g5, I liked what it brings, what it does... and now I like it even more because I saw this video!!!! thanks hp

      do the fingerprint sensor and face id work ?

      ​@@nevfs08 didn't try the face id yet , i got a used one and the fingerprint does work but it isn't reliable as using the pin , you have to push lil but for it to actually read your finger right , but 745 g5 is an overall great option for browsing editing photos and lil bit of gaming , I tried to play valorant on it and it stayed at the fps limit that I put ,60fps on low setting with medium textures

      Turn off the computer by using the Shut down command.
      Press in on the SIM card tray, and then remove it from the slot.
      Insert the SIM card into the SIM card tray (1), and then replace the tray in the computer. Press gently on the tray (2) until it is firmly seated.

      @@HPSupport I've read that. What I was trying to ask is if the processor 'replaceable' (i.e. it can be changed after I've bought the product). :)

      @@karmanveersingh9813 I believe HP is gonna give a legal answer which isnt very helpful. I have this laptop and can attest that this is a non replaceable cpu. The ryzen U models cant be compared to desktop versions. And many of these are pro models, for example ryzen 7 3700U pro which is most certainly a soldered on cpu on the motherboard. Hope that answers your question. But if you want to get some more performance out of a ryzen mobile chip, do some research on a tool called "ryzen controller", it allows you to overclock the ryzen mobile cpu. You can get some pretty big performance gains on this model, but personally couldnt overclock much above 19watts, the stock clock is 15w. But i have it set to 12w for better battery life and it runs still really fast,

    I have a elitebook 745 g5 and it thinks that the battery its bad and it has only 56 cycles on the battery it is in good health, tried calibrating it and its the same thing, when i be using the battery from 100 to like 80 is goes down at normal speed but when it goes down 80 it directly jumps down to 0 and turns off immediately, i repeat the battery is not faulty and it is in good health, when its charged at 100% the hp diagnostic software says it's healthy... and if its. Below 80 it says battery is very weak and needs to be replaced..., it also happens when the laptop is off and havent used it for like a day, it wont turn on without a charger im tired of this problem im starting to think that k should dump hp and go for a thinkpad

      thanks a lot, but my battery you can say it is dead and bulging so I do not want to buy a new one as I use it only or mostly from home so I want to know if it will work fine without a battery or not it is hp 745 g6 Ryzen 7

      @@HPSupport thanks for contacting me back my question is I have a at 7:45 elitebook G6 with the matte display non-touch is it possible to change the complete display assembly since they are both 30 pin connectors to the All Glass touch screen also in a similar fashion the same question but is it possible to switch the display to a x360 elitebook display assembly with the 30 pin connector I love the laptop but the plastic bezel drives me nuts especially how sleek the dells look and other hp's like the envy

      HP does not recommend upgrading or downgrading hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product as It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance, however, you could change the configuration at your own discretion.
