When I first started watching your channel a couple of years ago I thought you were just someone that enjoyed working with wood. I was so wrong. You are a master craftsman. I've never seen anything made with the skill and care in which you make your furniture. Thanks for letting us watch.
Another great video Ian. The thing is, these videos are deceptive, because you make it look so easy !! You are Sawing and Edging in 3 dimensions. I can't imagine all of the calculations going on in your head, and how far you are thinking in advance. Also, all of the behind the scenes maintenance to keep the mill running. I couldn't come close to what you are doing...
People use the sawdust for there horse stalls. Mulch gets used for gardens, walk ways, and to put around the base (not on) flower beds. The chipped white wood is hauled away by a large mulch vendor. They re ground it and sell it however they do🤷
Some boneheads are saying the vertical edger is not worth it. I say i love it. Just get better at setting it to reduce waste !! Or automate it!! Set up lazer line for setting it on the edge of wayne.
Nice setup. Are the trim saws set automatically or does the sawyer do so for every pass? Too much live edge on many of the boards for my taste - do they go through a gang saw or trimmer later to clean them up?
I noticed that the harmonics and the resonance changes as the saw began to get dull. Do you feel any difference in the vibrations from the saw as well. Nice sawing as usual. I hope your family is well and in good spirits.

Not gonna lie I didn’t even notice that there was no music/audio besides you talking until you mentioned it.
Really enjoyable video!
I'm sure you sell the bark, sawdust and chipped wood, what are the normal end uses of these products?

Is the vertical edger and the red laser connected or should I say which one is in control of the other one.
The red laser is connected to the edger

Yes they get cleaned up. The sawyer does it every pass. I’m going for maximum yield
Can you show us some time the system thatt transports out the sawdust and bark?
Of course!
Always Enjoy Guys.

Yes not in the vibrations. It just feels better😂
I don't understand why you have to alter you're videos, they are owesome , anyway thanks for the video dude,
I would like to watch you grade lumber if you do that
You have a great voice, but please don't talk.
Почему бревна до конца не распиливают что за хрень 👎👎👎
You saw all the boards that are worth a certain value, then the rest is turned into those larger blocks. It was finished😂
