Today we are going over a new brand at Sephora! This is Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez :) I absolutely love the overall message that comes with this brand. She seems to have put a lot of hard work and thought into her brand. More often than not, we see brands focused on making money rather than delivering a good product with an amazing message. Rare Beauty is striving to redefine what beauty means to each and every one of us. It’s all about beauty products that make you feel good without hiding what makes each one of us unique.
One percent of all of their sales, as well as funds raised from their partners, will be dedicated to the Rare Impact Fund which aims to increase access to mental health resources. As someone who is struggling with anxiety, that makes me super happy! Rare Beauty is making it their mission to raise $100 million in ten year which will give more people access to mental health resources.
I truly feel like this brand did it right! From the packaging, which is meant to help those with arthritis, to the product quality, to the overall message. Selena thought of pretty much everything!

Side note, something that I was unaware of until after I filmed this, is that every shade of foundation matches the concealer shades as well. So if you’re looking at 240W for foundation, 240W for concealer will be the same shade :)

i really wish youtubers didn't read ALL the details of the product. Maybe it can be added in the description of the video. Usually, if I click on a video is because i already know about the product and I just wanna see how it performs. It was 8 minutes of descriptions. Love your opinion always, i have similar skin tone and bad dark circles.
I agree! We can all look up the deets. Just here to know the colors she chooses and how she feels about it. I trust her opinion and i have dark circles too.
So totally agree. I get so annoyed by the reading of the details from the websites and back of the product packaging. If I am looking to see the application and wear of the product, it is because I am already interested. I can read the details on my own!

Not only did she include 48 yes 48 freakin shades, (we love an inclusive queen) but yeah dude they're all vegan & cruelty-free. I love anyone that loves animals!! Also i heard that the tops of the bottles are designed like that so they'll be easy to open. Selena has lupus & joint pain/issues, so the easy-open tops are beneficial for anyone with joint pain. And they're reasonably priced! And, AND... Selena launched the Rare Impact Fund, which is aiming to raise *$100 million* over the next 10 yrs to help address the gaps in mental health services for underserved communities. I LOVE HER! Finally an un-problematic beauty legend 🙌💜
I agree that you shouldn't include sooo much information in the beginning of the video, just link it in the description for us love. I'm not trying to come off the wrong way, forgive me! Thaaank you for the video showing the makeup CLOSE UP lol & not using a shitty camera or washing out your face friggin *completely* with an extra bright ring/whatever light. Basically your setup is 👌 perfect. And you're 👌 beautiful lol

Yes seriously lol. I exchanged mine twice and none of the shades worked. The first one was too dark, the second was too grey, just ended up returning it all together. -.-
