It's been kind of amazing seeing the love for Norm pour out from every direction.
The genius I think was very subtle or low key. His timing, cadence and delivery destroyed the norm. Lol
I haven't cried at a celebrity dying since Dimebag back in the early 2000s. Norm was everything I wanted my comedic sense to be. In my opinion, he's on the Mt. Rushmore of stand-up comedy. Say "hey" to Mom for me, Norm.

Norm got me through some tough times in life. So many nights watching and rewatching all of his late night appearances, movies & snl clips. Just looking at his face makes me smile & feel better. I always loved that he’s not only hilarious but intellectually brilliant. Thanks for everything Norm.

Norm was my favorite. I memorized the complete Scrabble story he told on Lettermen in '98 and broke myself up thinking about his 'old-times' phrases and lines he used. He was a classic and I will miss him. Rest in Peace Norm. And Howard, thank you, this was a cool tribute. You are a mensch and I like that. Peace.

The absolute genius of Norm Macdonald has yet to be fully appreciated. Many people know how unique & precious his comedic genius was, but I believe the greater public audience took his brilliance for granted. Norm Macdonald: comedy legend!
The crazy thing was I saw Bob Dole tweet a memorial message for Norm...Bob friggin' Dole outlived Normie Normie Normie XD crazy world, Norm will be deeply missed.
I know, it's insane. I thought the tweet was some sort of joke. I thought Bob Dole can't possibly be still living and he certainly couldn't have outlived poor Norm!
