I wish they would all stop say scientists, although he did actually say climate scientists once, as there are many sciences which have nothing to do with climate, for example sports scientists.
I am paying £247 standing charge on my electric to pay for solar farms and wind farms which are bad for the environment. Something I do not want.
Wind farms are a viable source of renewable energy and powers many buildings. We're an Island and it would be crazy not too use one of the natural resources we get, or would you rather keep importing energy from euro zone. I'm not a Environmentalist, but I'm a great believer in self sufficiency where possible.

We have massive sources of natural gas and coal being ignored in favour of importing energy from abroad,including shipping over bio fuel from the US.(where they cut down trees to make it).

Absolutely correct! 0.04% CO2 is 1 in 2,500 proportion. Also, any increase in CO2 will have NO EFFECT AT ALL on global temperatures. Why? Because CO2 only absorbs infra red in four fixed frequencies (1,437, 1,955, 2,013, and 2,060 nanometres). The CO2 in the atmosphere already, at 0.04%, absorbs 100% of IR at those wavelengths. And the crazy part is they want to electrify everything,so when we all go home at night,plug in our evs,turn on cookers,lights,computers,I pads,heaters,air con,oh my God,blackouts,cause at night the sun don't shine,the wind mostly dies down,and frosty nights no wind,and keeping in mind the cold weather kills more people than hot weather,so when the power goes off because of unreliables,if you don't have gas heating ,well you freeze,and if you survive the night,we'll you have a cold breakfast and walk to work,or am I missing something here?? The Gov is representing the majority of the people we want our bills cheaper to heat our homes drive our cars for work. Oil makes our lives much much easier and healthier.

Exactly. Please Doctors and GPs, just concentrate on your job because there seems to be a lot of you out there who are not putting much effort in, either by GPs not bothering to see patients or doctors in general giving poor or careless advice. Yes, I know some NHS doctors are hard-working, skilled and caring but it is like Russian roulette for the patient whether they get decent care or not and I think the odds are stacked up against us now.

Yes, he gives the old quote about 97% of scientists agreeing about the so called climate emergency etc. It is completely false! Many top scientists do not agree but, as you say, if they dare speak out, they risk losing their jobs, their pensions and are censored. As a well known example in the broadcasting industry, think of what happened to the popular presenter and scientist David Bellamy. He was pulled off air and cancelled because he spoke up against the "climate crisis".
Send him to Russia to get them to stop producing oil.

Since we’re all being forced to use renewables,I for one can’t afford to put my heating on in the winter otherwise my energy bill goes through the roof. So I give around £200.00 per month for the privilege OF NOT USING MY GAS AND ELECTRICITY. THIS IS JUST CRAZY!!!!😢

How does this doctor think that evey product that is made from oil is going to be replaced. Everything from pens to oxygen masks, from syringes to replacement heart valves.
Does he have any idea that replacing petrol cars with electric cars will cause far more polution through the manufacturing process or what they will do with the spent cobalt when the battery fails. What does he think about the children being forced to mine the minerals and ores needed to made the battery for these cars these children that die becsuse they are worked till they drop or become sick.

Sadly, I've seen a few clown doctors in my time, even when they weren't obsessed with a whole load of climate emergency nonsense. Seems to me that the odds of a patient seeing a decent NHS doctor is rapidly declining (even after the very long wait).

Last year (2023) CO2 emissions went up 1% against 2022 figures. The demand for coal (mainly China/ India) has never been higher. While we go broke other countries dine out on filthy fuels.
