This is the most 90s show ever. I still recall the 90s decor looked exactly like this show. I was only a wee kid when I saw this show. I came from another country and I have never seen a show like this. I was allowed to watch it as my step mother was a CPA and she would watch this show before she headed to work. It was her favorite show and she would always have her coffee and breakfast while watching this show. Good memories of the 90s. They made really good talk shows.
she is SO delightful and beautiful. 1995 here yet her hair and look would totally work today! I actually think she looked her hottest in the 90s (in her late 30s early 40s). Barely aged yet still had a very youthful glow and vibe. Personally wise polar opposite of Eve Plumb who is like sandpaper.
Lol I remember being so confused because I knew The Brady Bunch was an old show and thought Maria/Carol/Alice were the same actresses in the movie and wondered how they all still looked so young especially Marcia
4:15 She owes everything to her family? She had a normal childhood? Complete opposite of what she wrote in her book years later. No mention here of bulimia, depression, drug addiction. Put on a happy face, I guess.
I suspect "Normal" could mean that she (Maureen) wasn't "weirded out" / Corrupted by parents and the typical HollyWEIRD experience (MaCaulay Culkin. Michael Jackson, to name a few). Come payday, I think I'll cruise Amazon and buy her book. Of course she doesn't look NOW like the MARCIA of the BB show, BUT She's still HOT! And because I "Grew Up With Her" the image, as is the one of my real-life fiancee, still burns in my memory. I still have a schoolboy crush on her--(she's the same age as me) and while this is NERDY, I'd be gassed if she'd sign it. If I could clone her, she'd be my GF. Anyway, I concede the point that NORMAL is NOT comprised of bulimia, depression*, drug addiction*. My understanding is that the show's end put her into a taiI -spin: Remember she was only in the 13 -17 year range back then. I have experience, directly and indirectly with the last two--won't say which one(s), or to which extent; but I can say with CONVICTION that your life becomes a Bleeping living hell. Thankfully God's Grace pulled my fat out of the fire, and after quite some time, it allowed me to FIGURE OUT WHY it played out that way.
I suspect it's country since she feels at ease doing it? I further believe that actors/actresses who do less acting than they used to, and don't a have a hit show to earn money, have to find something to earn some $$/pay the bills. Maybe they are merely settling for an alternative; a second choice. I think it can be a form of "phoning it in", meaning that compared to their acting, everything else they work at is simply "well, .... ok for a while". Another observation is that young actors get typecast and only the fortunate/exceptional ones get to continue success-fully as an adult. I have not read her book, though I want to. I have heard her sing, (only on the I'net) and she does sound good as a country singer--she's just too nice (Past reputation as Marcia, Marcia, Marcia) to be a Pat Benatar/Joan Jett rocker chick.
This girl has the most beautiful smile...she never gets old...one of the most gourgeos women in the world!❤

Abusive parents teach you to lie for them and you do it out of loyalty. That's the game.
@@thebrazilianatlantis165 were her parents abusive? I know she has a brother with special needs and she had drug addiction
She may have been in denial here. It happens.
I think you'll find she's one of those who changes her story to suit.

Uhh country? She then roasted Toby Keith. That was hilarious!

The cover of her album looks nothing like her.
