Met MM in the 90s when she spoke about Safe Sex and birth control at PSU. The way she communicates is so sweet vulnerable and down-to-earth. Love her.

Met her on 11.17.94, when she was performing in Grease !, at the Eugene O'Neil Theater in NYC. Waited at the stage door entrance for her. She was so nice & amicable, and was surprised that I traveled a distance to see the play & meet her. Cool beans & a memory I'll never forget...😎

She's right about the anti depressants. Not easy to start - but serious exercise is so effective against depression too. A doctor told me I'd need to be on them for life and I disagreed and glad I did.
I think Maureen is one of the best-liked people there is. And I feel the same.

I've been on an antidepressant since 1999 and it has dramatically improved my life. I used to have gut-wrenching anxiety that would render me immobile. Nothing wrong with medication. Nothing to be ashamed about. Nothing you need to get off of.
To her younger self....i expected her to say "stay away from all the drugs (cocaine etc) that were offered to her. And I believe she started smoking (14) while she was in the Brady bunch but can't confirm this. There are many clips of her taking a drag on other sets when smoking was 'cool'. But this is the Hollywood life style! Damned if you do and damned if you don't. She survived it all!

She's beautiful, but didn't Mork and Mindy come out in 78 and Cheers started around 1980.
Maybe she is talking about the brady bunch variety show and specials. After the main show stopped she was still going back to the studio for the variety show and specials related to the Brady Bunch.

I love Maureen, but she has some weird things going on here. First off, Brady Bunch ended in 74, she says Mork and Mindy and Cheers were filmed there towards the end of their run. Mork and Mindy didn't air until 1978, 4 years after Brady Bunch ended. Cheers didn't start until the 1980s, Laverne and Shirley didn't start until 1976.

@@lbrown4106 I think you’re right. Several of the cast have mentioned Star Trek, which was cancelled in 1969, but the BB pilot was filmed in 1968, so that would have been the overlap there. Probably something similar with Happy Days and its spinoffs overlapping with the variety show and Cheers with the Brady Brides.

1:06 Mork & Mindy, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Cheers??? Those weren’t until the late 70s/early 80s, several years after the Brady Bunch was canceled in 1974.... I think all the drugs messed up her memory.
Happy Days started as a mid season replacement January 74. Adding Odd Couple, Laverne & Shirley and Mork and Mindy, they were all shows by Garry Marshall and all filmed at Paramount. She did guest shots on a few other shows, I'm not surprised she listed the most iconic shows filmed there.
