In its way, another masterpiece, Nekkid. Not the watch, that had always been at or close to top of the shop. It's you Nekkid. You are what makes that repair a masterpiece. If for nothing else, for knowing and expecting glass fragments to have migrated as far as they did. I was amazed and appalled at just how far jagged and vicious shards had migrated into the tiniest interstices. All the buffing and polishing is what we now expect from you, mate and it was as good as it always is, but it was hunting down the last, infinitesimal motes of sapphire dust that did it for me. Masterpiece of a masterclass. Cosmic.

Out of all the You tube watch repairs out there, you are by far the best. YAY!!! Glad to see you back!!! A Rolex, I am waiting to see you handle the Grand Seiko with the Spring movement 😊 Until then, I will be watching (pun intended)😅😅
Stunning result, you must be pretty happy with that! Also, a notable improvement with your new lens, the colours appear extra-rich and maybe there's a dash of additional contrast. Depth of field seems a little wider too (?). Is that your lapel microphone picking up the auto-focus motor working? In any case it's not really annoying at all, just thought I'd mention it in case you hadn't picked up on it yourself. Lastly, can I ask what lens you brought please? Thanks for sharing your work (and wise+kind words) 🙂
I was already going to subscribe and like because I love your sense of humor and amazing skill, but when I saw the “end apartheid” sticker on your cleaning machine I was like, that’s my bro!!! Will be binging your videos now. Thanks brother! 🙏🏽❤️🇵🇸 also had to comment about your description of the types of scratches, “like when the sea was parted for Moses” 😂😂 loved it lol. My wife and mom who often watch tv with me ignore the watch videos I play, but they kept smiling and giggling and the sounds of your children in the background. And I understood your riddle at the end loud and clear! Excellent job on the beautiful GMT2 and looking forward to your others!
I studied jewelry making years ago and one of my teachers described buffer polishing as... using the appropriate compound and speed the buffer melts the very top surface of the metal to achieve a polished surface
Thanks for this one Joe, as always you make it look so straightforward and easy, and your desciptions so accurate. Keep the comments coming, and consider the rope held. Regards to the family, and yourself.

Really sad to hear you talking about shadow bans. Although it was clearly obvious that you were upset about what was going on in the world all I ever heard you talking about was peace. If everyone had that attitude then we probably wouldn’t be faced with so many problems.
I am an atheist but a lot of the things you said still resonated with me, there is no reason that people with different beliefs shouldn’t be able to share this world with one another.
Please don’t ever change, I don’t even own a watch but this channel is where I come to relax and unwind and it is the commentary, humour and love that I really enjoy alongside the beautiful engineering of the timepieces and care that is put into restoration

Absolutely fantastic Joe, this is by far the best i've seen on youtube since i fell down the rabbit hole. Thank you for sharing, all the best
Your video quality has vastly improved!
Thank you 🙏
Artistry in motion... If I ever need a watch repair, I'll be sending it to you. Absolutely fascinating!
I did something very similar today. I replaced the wheel bearings on my 2006 Prius. You don't throw your tools.
Such attention to detail makes me realise that if I take my watch to get it serviced, can I trust the jeweler to be as thorough as you Joe. Great video showing what really goes on behind closed doors and makes me appreciate your trade all the more. Look forward to the next one as always.
It's always a pleasure to watch your videos. If Bob Ross was a watchmaker...
Thanks mate
Thia renovation has been such a pleasure to watch. From such damage it has been transformed into something of beauty once again. Keep doing more of these videos, please.
it's not just in your head😜. and by the way you have a quiet voice and your son in back ground is simply cute. 👍👍
I have been a avit supporter of this channel since the start.... The surgical precission that this gentleman works on a watch without so much as a flinch is unreal.... well done on an awesome stunning channel..... Please keep on uploading more of this fascinating watch repair content.....Thank you in sharing this awesome work with us.
YAY!!! Glad to see you back!!! A Rolex, I am waiting to see you handle the Grand Seiko with the Spring movement 😊 Until then, I will be watching (pun intended)😅😅
Yeah. Grand Seiko would benefit from the new glass.
Oh that poor movement, it had suffered a hard life. You gave it its dignity back Joe as you always do💖
Stunning result, you must be pretty happy with that!
Thank, yes the auto focus is a bit load so most of the time I ah e it in manual
it's a pleasure to whatch the entire process.
I love watching experts at work. And I fully agree with your very subtle activism. The world needs more people objecting to evil in the world.
Did your comment make your mangina all frothy?
Dude, grow a pair!
Thank you 🙏
A masterpiece serviced by a real master.
My friend if you charged 500 for all that work, someone got one heck of a bargain. Especially considering the value added to the piece.
Glossy shine is spectacular what a glorious job you did.
Incredible that your talent for making videos approaches your talent for servicing watches. Free Palestine!
Thanks mate
Thank you for your video, as well as for your words ❤
You’re welcome
I've been holding your rope for ages now and you haven't even noticed..
I notice mate. Thanks 🙏
WOW your craftsmanship is second to none. Beautiful restoration.
Great video 2x👍
The glass worked its way deep into the mechanism, father then I expected.
I studied jewelry making years ago and one of my teachers described buffer polishing as... using the appropriate compound and speed the buffer melts the very top surface of the metal to achieve a polished surface
Thank you very much ❤ A great watchmaker and a great human being.
Thank you for an illuminating tour of a Rolex!
Thanks for this one Joe, as always you make it look so straightforward and easy, and your desciptions so accurate. Keep the comments coming, and consider the rope held. Regards to the family, and yourself.
A great video, and I appreciate it that you have kept the edges etc so clean! More than enough lube points.
Probably my favorite Rolex color combination. Great video and appreciate the in depth explanation on the fine tuning of the balance.
A true master, a joy to watch. Thank you.
Thank you for returning this watch to it's beautiful condition! God bless you!
Mate, that's brilliant, saw you add gold to the Cartier but you've done every step ,that's years of doing, before youtube and not doing watches because of youtube, been at this for years and it shows ,so nice to see it .
The restoration of this piece is fabulous. the watch is a complex work of art, faithfully cleaned and rebuilt.
I truly wish I could be apprenticed to you to learn from the master. And I'm not blowing smoke at you I'm genuinely in awe of your skills
I never thought I would want a Rolex, when I see how well they're made, your opinion changes.
What a lovely video. I learn something new every time I watch one of your videos. Wonderful to hear the kids again. Be safe and look after yourself and your family.
Thank you 🙏
Your skill is obvious and appreciated. I really enjoyed the closeup view.
