I find it sad that when Nightcrawler saved Rogue and Magneto that Rogue rushed over to check on him but stopped because she knew what her touch would do to him

In the words of Captain America "We save as many as we can. Sometimes that doesnt mean everyone. If we cant learn to live with that....maybe next time no one gets saved."
They’ve shown love triangles evolving into poly relationships before with Scott-Logan-Jean. I feel towards the last few seasons, once Gambit has returned as Death and Magneto and Rogue return from Ancient Egypt; Magneto and Rogue are going to save Gambit and become a poly trio. Magneto loves Rogue, and so does Gambit, both care about her and are happy to fight side by side. Even when Magneto tie Gambit and Rogue to the post during Genosha, Gambit tells Rogue that Magneto is doing his best to save both of them. I think Genosha made all three have a new respect for one another.
@JarvisCosric885 Of course. I like seeing how interwoven the families are in the X-Men. Rogue and Nightcrawler are my favorite siblings, and their brother still hates mutants. He may show up.
I can't believe they actually Genosha massacre with The Wild Sentinels. This is loosely based off the comic E for Extinction, in which a mutant by the name of Cassandra Nova hijacked and used one of the deadliest types of Sentinels known as Wild Sentinels, and sent them onto Genosha which resulted in them destroying the entire island and wiping out over 16 million people.
This kind of thing is EXACTLY what Magneto was afraid of, and why he did a lot of what he did… and here it is, happening again. Hopefully, Magneto doesn’t let the UN down after this.

No, you’re right. This massacre would have hit harder if this place and the people in it had been present onscreen for longer than half an episode. The writers are juggling a lot of characters and three plot threads (Storm’s power loss, Mr. Sinister’s plans, and the existence more Master Molds-which is probably connected to the attack on Genosha). These are very good writers who are skilled at balancing all this, but even they have made trade-offs on how to parcel out their attention.
Actually I think this hits harder, this shit mirrors a lot of attacks and incidents that occur in the world at large. It helps that we are in the X-men’s shoes, we’re seeing genosha and mutants actually being allowed to thrive and succeed. Only for it to suddenly come to an end in haze of smoke and confusion.
