I thought compromising safety when ot comes to schedules was common among the el cheapo companies...you often hear about overworked pilots and rushed turnarounds

It gives you empathy towards them because it shows that they're human, just like the rest of us, and we all fuck up under pressure sometimes. I’m training to be a pilot for easy jet
Good luck, all the best! I’m still at least 10 years away to becoming a pilot and I don’t see myself becoming one anytime soon. I’m doing my A-levels, then uni then save up for idk how many years till I start my training. And by that time there won’t be a high demand for pilots so idk if I’ll even get a job by then.
I'm doing a B1 engineer license first to get the money for the licenses.

Gunnar H sometimes a sweater is part of their uniform. They don’t always have to wear a suit and have different pieces of the uniform. Some have leather jackets sweaters and other garments.

This really gives me an insight of how being a pilot is. As an aspiring pilot this just makes me wanna be a pilot more and it really motivates me
I like the series & other sites about airplanes, but I’m terrified of flying & heights.
Same...although I love the feeling of taking off, the power etc, landing safe, even better. Im fine with heights, I have worked 170 odd feet in cradles on buildings...my problem.is no faith/trust in pilots or ground crew.
The thought of flying totally spoils the run up to a holiday for me, to the point where I havent had one for 8 years

If the adult (s) escorting the child (I guess he was under escort-at least they must be, from where I come from children are not allowed to fly alone), shouldn't at least one flight attendant noticed that?
Quite odd.
Flying Dutchman you can still sit up and look out of the window when you’re strapped in. Especially for a child as the belts aren’t always as tight for them as they’re so small.
If you type 32:50, it'll link to the timestamp. You need to remember this is a TV show and because of that, filming and editing doesn't always line up what you see with the exact reality. How do you film during bumpy moments? You can't - you need to get your b-roll during cruise, etc.

Why in the world is that First Officer, who is flying right seat (44:15) with Captain Trainer Tony wearing dark sunglasses in the cockpit when the weather outside is barely minimums in Geneva:?
