@THand141Homestead there are a pair of chemicals that you can add in the water to pull out the contaminents then you can crystalise it to granulated sugar. That's why you see the word refined on sugar sinceits the same for can as well.

Today you suggested the viewers watch your beet sugarvid, so here I am. I wonder if you could use a food processor instead of hand grating. Man, that's a process...one would have to be highly motivated!!
I would imagine it could be used as a liquid, you would have to get it down to the moisture content of honey which I think is around 18% to prevent fermentation in storage. I am pretty sure that and measuring out the portions for recipes are really the only reasons to go with powder over liquid.
T-Hand141 Homestead... Listen, I have my own thing I do for losing weight and I found it by accident... it's a mixture of different foods. I drink Coke and decaf sweet tea often snd not much water. But for losing weight, I mix a can of diced tomatoes, can of Tomato Juice, whatever kind of extra vegetables I want, or a can of mixed vegetables, a couple cans of chicken breasts, that I mince with a fork, and add a can of black beans. No one seems to want to give what works away for free to actually help people, but I'm helping you and any other that wants to jot this down. It's healthy eating. Im a 45 year old High Functioning Autistic and I started at 248 pounds and now I weigh about 221 pounds 3+ months later. I mean I could probably lose more weight if I changed my diet more or actually exercise. But I make this meal in a big storage bowl and eat usually once a day with meals, and snack throughout the day. But I big bowl usually lasts me a week. I might eat thus mixture one to 2 times a month but every other week if twice per month. I know you will like this idea if you're really wanting to see the difference on a scale...
I'll have to try that! Thank you! I have been eating 4oz of chicken, broccoli and rice, to help me lose. I have also been going to the gym I went from 240lbs to 211 in several months. Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing!
I have never tried the pointed Beet. This was my first attempt at making sugar. I concluded that maple sap is actually easier though it takes longer. Thanks for watching.
Did you name your channel for how many times you plan to hurt your hands?😂 Maybe try a fan blowing across it. I saw someone making a type of sugar and when it was syrup they used a mixer. The issue with beets is that it needs refining. You haven't extracted the molasses so the sucrose can't crystallize.
Oh. I didn't know that.

When using a peeler, stab the thing with fork, then peel the impaled thing.
I will have to do that!!
Save yourself a LOT of standing around and watching, dump your mash into a crock pot and turn it on low overnight. Simmers down nice and gentle.
