T-Hand141 Homestead... Listen, I have my own thing I do for losing weight and I found it by accident... it's a mixture of different foods. I drink Coke and decaf sweet tea often snd not much water. But for losing weight, I mix a can of diced tomatoes, can of Tomato Juice, whatever kind of extra vegetables I want, or a can of mixed vegetables, a couple cans of chicken breasts, that I mince with a fork, and add a can of black beans. No one seems to want to give what works away for free to actually help people, but I'm helping you and any other that wants to jot this down. It's healthy eating. Im a 45 year old High Functioning Autistic and I started at 248 pounds and now I weigh about 221 pounds 3+ months later. I mean I could probably lose more weight if I changed my diet more or actually exercise. But I make this meal in a big storage bowl and eat usually once a day with meals, and snack throughout the day. But I big bowl usually lasts me a week. I might eat thus mixture one to 2 times a month but every other week if twice per month. I know you will like this idea if you're really wanting to see the difference on a scale...

Chickens are great homestead birds, unfortunately, a chicken coop is natures food pantry. You need a dog to keep watch or you'll have to make your coop more predator proof. Good luck.

Kinda sad to see those bare trees, it does start early up there in the frozen north! It IS a great feeling to help someone, and it always comes back around in some way. BTW I do love a red barn. Dumb ?... did you drive the tractor there, or do you have a trailer to haul it around? I t sure is a big help.
