Andrew Anane It was original designed as a Private one. In Germany most of our Police Helicopters are EC 145 in a Civil Version. They are also the standart Air Rescue Helicopters in Germany and Austria.
The German Army has 15 H145M as transport helicopters for the KSK special forces. I‘m wondering if it’s going to equip some of those helicopters with the HForce weapons system.
Raphael , I will have to research some. I wonder how much vibration a 20mm multiple barrel cannon like the ones used in fighter aircraft vibrates around. I guess I never noticed gun pod vibration before due to the camera angles they usually use during weapons tests. This video is the first one I have seen with this particular viewpoint.
This could have been probably the best LAH if you only put a chin mounted gun similar to AH1 cobra it has advantage over using of pod. Like the Indian's Drhuv which is similar in size design and the Koreans has successfully did it with their LAH program.
