Gnaughty Gnomes rules exploded my brain! Keen on Six of VIII, right in that meaty part of the complexity curve. 535 is my number guess because the dog on your top reminds me of the artwork from that game's recent retheme. Although it could be 94 due to your cap 😅
Hi, Taylor! I would have to guess 52, hahaha. Congratulations on the subscribers, and I love the games being covered as usual...lol. I definitely am looking into maybe both Gnaughty Gnomes and The Six of VIII. I do have a question, though, on Gnaughty Gnomes. At 13:45, you are mentioning the second players placenta of the gnome where they can place it on two colors and that the player has to pick a color that will allow them to do it. The first color choice you say they can't place there because no orange was played, and then you say they can't choose purple because the only purple was already previously taken by player one. Then you place the gnome on the purple and brown card and take the brown card that player two had. This had me a little confused. As I am typing this, it kind of has me thinking and figuring it out, but just to be clear, do you only have to have one color available to place a gnome or do both colors where you are placing the gnome have to be available? Then, just with the multiple scorings you are basically using where the players tokens are touching, right? So say if at 20:13 there was a blue token in the far left corner on the border edge of the orange and pink card. So the last player placed their grey token on the indicies (sp? of the pink, black, and brown tiles. So as you said they gain one point for the tie for the black mushroom for 1 point, then they had the majority for the brown mushroom for 4 points, so then would the grey player gain an additional 2 points for the majority of the purple if the blue player had a token on the edge of the orange and purple tiles as well? I did end up ordering both games, so I can't wait to get both to the tables, and who knows maybe a third will be in there also! Thanks as always, and have a great weekend!
