If you’re not a real tourist, they send you home. Then you can’t come back for three years. It’s been illegal to work there without a permit since 1958 and they would like to keep it that way. You have to pay the Australian government money to bring cigarettes if you want to smoke. No fresh fruit or raw meat. They don’t want anyone’s diseases or problems.
