It's a great phone for the price. You won't regret it.

I like the very simple way you conveyed the features, this is a welcome departure to the overly professionally made videos, your video is like asking a friend or the guy next door on how samsung j5 pro is.. nice stuff.

Thank you so much for your analysis of this phone, I am seriously contemplating getting one of these in the near future.

Thank-you. My Xperia Z5 compact died and I require a fully functioning phone mainly for business duties, didn't want to spend $1000+ nor carry a ridiculously large tablet phone. This looks the go.

In all honesty, you may even prefer this over the Z5. The only downside is that the camera is not as good as the Z5's..

    It's a pretty good phone.
I've paid $100s of dollars more on a phone & been a lot less impressed...
It comes at a price though.
This phone have THE WORST predictive text.
You gotta read your msgs thoroughly before sending, because this phone just does what it wants.
If you accidentally misspell something a few times, it'll save it & suggest that before the actual word.
I'm forever deleting nonsense it's saved.
I was going to stick with Samsung, but that's put me off.
On to the next brand to try.... 🙄

I have been using the Samsung Galaxy J5 Pro for nearly a year. Has great screen but awful camera performance on rear camera. The Autofocus overcompensates and takes unreliable photos at both close up and distance photos.. I have to take 5 shots to get one good one!. I use the camera a lot so is very annoying and disappointing. multiple lighting conditions..Problem is not the case or membrane covers. been like this since i bought it from new. Using an app to try and work around the auto-focus feature which cannot be turned off! My brothers phone (same model) behaves exactly the same.. My ol trusty i-phone 4S way outperformed the camera, megapixels or not!

What are your thoughts on the dual sim set up? Is it Dual active?

    • @AnthonyKlun
      @AnthonyKlun  6 років тому

It is dual active but a lot slower. According to the user manual, the 4G network speed is halved on both sims and the device only has 2Gb RAM instead of 3GB. The dual sim devices are aimed at countries where the lower performance is acceptable. If you are planning to only use it for phone calls and text, than it is adequate.

@@AnthonyKlun Thanks for the quick reply! It's mainly to take calls for a new business. I may end up using two phones for now anyway but have been looking at this phone for a couple of weeks now and as you say for the price!! You've got me looking at the HP laptop now as well Goddam it!

They are shit!! 2 (TWO!) batteries chucked it in, swelled up, and lifted the screen off in just over as many years. Inbetween I accidentally cracked the screen, and that was $180. to replace. Now, having put the stupid thing into the techies again (for a THIRD battery, @ around $90.) I'm told that the so-called 'mother board has been damaged and is useless, and there is no point trying to repair it vs buying another phone (?!). And then they add, "oh, but it is an 'old' phone"(!!!) "OLD PHONE"?!? RUBBISH! I'd only bought the thing brand new in March 2019! These upstarts don't know what 'old' is! We had a black bakelite phone that sat in the corner of the kitchen from 1957 to 1969 (when we opted for one of the new coloured plastic ones) and never had a hardware problem with it. And we didn't have any hardware problems with the new cream coloured one either, which sat in the corner of the kitchen from 1969 to 1980 (when we replaced it with the new, flat, push button 'Commodore' model) and we didn't have any problems with it either. 'OLD'? I'm not running out and spending another $600 - $1,000. on a 'new' phone every 30 months or so.
AND, making a phone where tho ONLY way to access, remove, or replace the phone's battery is via major invasive 'surgery' (involving removing the screen) is the most STUPID of ideas -- absolute STUPIDITY! These are not 'smart phones', they are 'DUMB PHONES'!
Will NOT be buying another Samsung, they are JUNK! And I also will NOT be buying any other 'Dumb Phone' phone that I cannot manually access and remove/the battery - I don't care who makes it! Phffffft!
