Your private little Park and the lovely blooms of this tree only add to the mystic and to have a picnic with all this conjures in my mind and heart a beautiful pair of Unicorns off in the distance. Hello dear Nicolas ,I recently stumbled over your youtube channel and I'm so happy. As a mum of 2 children(grown up,married and extremly wonderful)I must say that you are a beautiful soul and a lovely young man.Thank you for inspiring us so nice.Best wishes from Germany.🙂
I have been watching you for years from USA Clearwater, Florida. I can never get enough of your beautiful decorations and a delicious looking recipes that you bring us. you are pure luxury my friend.
I wished I had thought as others suggested, to paint the flower pots the same color as the door. Great idea. I loved the picnic, the food was marvelous. See you soon, Nicolas!
Lovely video! I would also venture to suggest that you paint the pot further down the edge on the inside since your soil might settle over time and you wouldn’t want the unpainted visible if that happens. ☺️❤️
Such a lovely and calming video. The front door colour looks great. I think it would look even better if you painted the inner and outer frames in the same colour. It will make the small door look bigger and more evenly proportioned. Also, that olive oil, I used for used for years until I realised it is compromising the taste of dishes. The Waitrose own brand extra virgin olive oil is infinitely nicer. Give it a try if you haven’t.
Hi dear Nicolas. I just adore your "down to earth" personality. Is that a very American thing to say? I find that you are becoming more comfortable with us and I quite like it. " You're not serving tea to the queen" and the "Macho" statement . I was "tickled". Beautiful, talented, kind and also witty. I love it. Don't ever change.
Oh I can hardly WAIT do this! I’m in Seattle Washington so it’s still a little too wet and dreary, but I will be making this vegetable tart over the weekend! I have to mention how much I appreciated your “how easy is that” Ina Garden imitation 😂😂😂
You are something else! What a beautiful kitchen you have, you did the Dip from scratch and you chopped the vegetables. Most folks would have just bought the "Stuff" from The North American Shop Wal Mart.
I love the idea of having the pots match the door, which looks beautiful. I think that color works better with plants than white. Very well behaved pups, too 🐶 Well done!

I really enjoyed your whole picnic experience. I was reminded of many years ago having a picnic in Portugal with my Portuguese in-laws. They brought a huge pot of precooked rice and pounds of pork cutlets that we put into large rolls. It was always a priority to have a huge amount of food rather than a sophisticated pretty meal but it was fun.
You are such an inspiration to us all Nicolas. Loved your picnic food and the beautiful way you presented it all for a delightful day in the park. I would also like to say how impressed I am with the very nice way you are always dressed and you look so healthy and your hair is so shiny. Love from New Zealand.
Hello Nicolas. Your picnic reminds me of what Renoir would paint on his canvas. Gorgeous garden setting with brilliant colors. Preparing for a picnic doesn't have to be elaborate or expensive. Dearest Nicolas, I love that you have a new sent oil with sticks. I use them all the time. My latest purchase was Jasmin and honeysuckle. My last purchase was from Paris. The scent is Shangri -la from the Shangri -la hotel. I have an idea for a fragrance. Years ago I went to a lovely Gay bar in New port Rhode Island. Out in the back of the bar was a patio area .Very closed in but lovely open ended to smell the Newport bay at Sunset. The fenced walls had honeysuckle and rambling roses with sea salt air. Intoxicating!!! See what you can do with this. Needs to be elegant. Thank you ! DENNIS

Thank you so very much for this delightful and wonderful picnic video! So lovely of you to share your healthy recipes and how you pack everything up for the perfect picnic. Love how your picnic baskets serve as two purposes and now I want to take myself out on a picnic with my book and yummy treats x
That is such a clever idea with the basket. I have an empty baskets and never know how to use it or what to put in it for my church picnics .Thank you Nicolas.
Fabulous video. Just a suggestion: if you have access to wide mouthed French jelly jars, it might be easier to load up the Eton mess into them as the tops are wide. Many times the jelly jars are available with a separate plastic lid that you can cap them with, easily removable for the picnic. The jelly jars are also useful for drinking glasses. The jars have thick walls so they are resistant to breaking, and making them easy to transport for a picnic.
Your videos are such a joy , they inspire me to find time for joyful activities that allow me to feel the moment more . Also your voice is so kind and pleasant, it’s always a joy to watch your content .

Thanks for taking us picnicking with you from prep to its delicious fulfillment in your lovely park. I make a tart similar to yours, but as I dislike sweet potatoes, I substitute daikon radish (I also season with Bell's poultry seasoning)-- a dash of creative variation which, as you say, makes the dish truly one's own. And I can hardly wait to try your dessert: it seems positively scrumptious!!

Everything looks so elegant and delicious!! Yes, a wonderful idea to paint the flower pots the same colour as the front door
I just tuned into your show and I'm enjoying it and learning a lot
Love the snail 🐌 on the opening page with your logo. Also love the video.
Nick about the pots good idea to paint them with the same color of your door. It came out beautiful sweetie.
Oh, what a lovely picnic! Definitely putting the roasted cauliflower dip and Eton Mess on this summer's menu.

Nicholas again the whisper of spring is upon us with the lovely picnic and beautiful treats. I love the door and the garden will begin shaping up. ❤️🌞🌻🌈
Thank you!
Beautiful day for a picnic under the blossoms! Your menu looked absolutely delicious, well done Nicolas. Great idea to paint the pots to match the door. Excited to see the finished garden. Thanks Nicolas 🙏🏻❤️
I think the Friday video upload is better. Saturday mornings is a nice and convenient time to watch your video during breakfast time. But with a Sunday upload it is already the end of the weekend and during the week there is no time to watch it.
Sounds so good!
What a beautiful beach you have in Scotland. The door is gorgeous and the picnic lovely!!!

I just found your videos! Love them. I live in the Heartland of America; so glad this video popped up. You made me laugh when you said, “You’re not making tea for the Queen”. Thanks for your content!
All of your vids are pleasant and fun. I loved how this one felt even more effortless, breezy and a bit more candid at times than most of your posts, eventhough you were doing a lot. You've really come into your own. thanks again for all you do. One thing, I know you're not alone doing these, but would have loved to see a little toast with the wine and your producer at the very end just to see the party start. Keep up the peaceful and lovely work.
Awww Bailey and your doggie are adorable. I love dogs. Hugs to them both ❤
a beautiful place, your picnic ideas is perfect, from start to finish just wonderful Lovely and elegant as ever I love it
So glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Nicolas! The garden is so lovely where you had the picnic. I loved meeting your new dog and would love to know your secret to keep the doggies away from the food that looks so yummy n' beautiful! LOL! I couldn't choose between the white or antiqued look for the outdoor pots, so didn't share my choice, and loved the brilliant suggestion of using the new door color! Enjoy the week! Lovely lovely picnic, Nicholas. the cauliflower dip looks so yummy, as does the tart. the raspberry mess made my mouth water and i loved your imitation of Ina Garten 😂. What a beautiful and peaceful setting for your day. Thank you for bringing us along.
You made Chantilly Cream. Its a French recipe. My favorite. Sooo delicious with the added vanilla.
