I focus on 5 types of videos. 1. I review trucks and SUVs from Ford, GMC, Chevrolet (Chevy), RAM (Dodge), Toyota, Nissan, and others. 2. I review accessories for both RVs as well as Pickups and trucks. 3. I review RVs, including Class A, Fifth Wheels, Travel Trailers, Class B and Class C coaches. 3. I do general "Ranting" videos where I talk about vehicles, towing, and give my general opinion on various topics. 4. Vehicle upgrade and installation videos on various accessories either I am installing or that are being installed on other vehicles. 5. Interview videos with experts in various fields related to trucks and RVs.

Glad the you are concerned and took steps to fix the issue with the fog lights. Nothing worse on the road than being blinded by on coming traffic or being followed by annoying lights. The blue and pink hued lights I wish were never on the road.
akbychoice yea not many people care about others. It's good that he does
Yeah, most people don't understand that fog light are for use during FOG. Otherwise they should be off.
Thank you for being concerned about other drivers. I drive line haul at night and I can not believe how many drivers drive with their brights on and will not dim them.
Nice goods! I'd love to get my hands on one of those tumblers ! thanks for the video!
I wish more ppl cared like you did, so many have their "fog" lights on that absolutely blind ppl. It's a bit of an epidemic. Great video. Cheers
Thank you for showing the fog light I just installed mine tonight and I have to say they have a really nice light output and really like the horizontal line. I used the brackets from my Rough County lights that allow factory adjustments in my 2016 F250 factory light enclosures.
your welcome. Glad you like them sir
Sweet merch man. Glad things are going good for you. Keep up the good reviews
Awesome lights at an affordable price. 👍
just bought a set of the bumper lights, i liked the price, thanks for the videos and helping me shop.
Thanks for your video. Awesome lights.
Nice custom stuff!
My F350 is pretty much stock but I always found as a general rule in a common area of traffic I typically don't run my fog lights because I have been clicked by high beams coming from the other direction.
I typically use auxiliary lights in a scenario like driving through the wash at night with no oncoming traffic.
The only time I really have to use my high beams is to let the oncoming driver know that he has his on LOL
Thanks for sharing this bright video.
I wish Ford would fix their LED headlights. They are blinding to oncoming traffic as well. I am not sure how they got them approved by DOT.
Same with Toyota's truck Incandescent headlights. Tacos particularly. They scatter light EVERYwhere. I'm in a vehicle about as tall as them and I'm still getting blinded.
Also, GM/Chevy Truck FOGS ARE THE WORST. Everyone and their grandma drive everywhere with them on and they blind everyone. It's almost like they're installed upside down.
Might want to check the actual adjustment. most people don't think about adjusting headlights after they've got their accessories on the vehicles which changes weight distribution causing headlights to aim high.
For myself personally I have been highly satisfied with the rigid dot compliant fog lights, puts off a great amount of light without being blinding in my opinion, extremely well built products rigid has to offer, their torture test says a lot.
Those are nice lights. I noticed you have the amber lens covers on you other fogs. How well do they work? Do they help in actual adverse weather? Do you think they are a "universal" fit? I have a 20" bar from another brand, I've been curious if 2 of the 10" covers would fit and if its worth it.
Nice!!!
Nice package for the price.
I put the rigid lights on my 04 superduty. Haven't been able to try them yet but found them to be well built. How can I get some big truck big rob merchandise?
Amazing review. And thumb up for respecting other drivers!
I run Piaa RF series fog’s and driving brand that are dot sae. If you drive through the scales constantly it’s a must to have compliance.
Thanks for posting this review, it was super helpful! I am very cognizant of the cut off lines on all these different types of lights but it’s very difficult to figure out unless you buy and do trial and error. Do you know of any LED light bars that have the same type of well defined cut off line to reduce glare?
Can you put the standard amber covers over them?
I have to disagree with the Rigid lights. I had them and true projector retrofit HID's on a F150 that I just sold. The light output between those lights was super clean no glare what so ever, and would put new cars to shame.
@BigtruckBigrv do you still have these lights!? How are they working ive been looking at getting some myself
Looking to add some reverse lighting to the TT - what's your feeling on mounting something like this wired to the reverse light circuit?
My current trailer has nothing by way of reverse lights or lighting and parking it at night is always fun ( 32 foot TT). I was going to go and look at Rigid's lineup and pick some flood style and mount them with a downward angle, but these look nice with the cut off line.
Do the mount brackets work in an underslung mount situation where you have to suspend the light below the hard mount point? I have a stock front bumper, and adding a pair of these up front would be nice, but they would have to hang down...or perhaps not... but just curious if they work that way, the images on Amazon look like they might.
Love your channel and info. Well thought out, fair, and honest. ( now I want a widetrack 450 - just because)
Thanks,
the bracket can be mounted to either the top or bottom to accommodate different mounting needs. I think it would make a good backup light, especially because all the light would be cast down on the road
No intention to steal BTBR suggestion; but here are the cheapo lights I bought for use as Aux back up lights for my Expedition. Super cheap, if one is DOA or craps out I have more to replace. It is a four pack for under 20 bucks. NOTE: Most reviews of 'cheap' light bars/pods suggest a quick tear down and application of silicone to prevent fogging.

I have yet to wire them in...I'll be going the switch route: Off/ON/On with back up engaged.
Here is a YT video that describes the method to wire. Might be nice to have that rear light 'on-demand' on your TT.

Do they work in the fog though?
Would you ever partner up with yeti?
nice thanks
There's a lot here that have even run lights bars down low and think they are legal But even with my driving/ fog lights if I can get by without them on during a clear night when traffic is coming at me, I try not to.
You do such a great job at what you do that I like following your channel and I know that you are considered of oncoming traffic and other drivers said you'd said the change the fog l continue to do the good work that you do There's nothing worse is you been driving all day and all evening and it's getting dark in you redy to do your break is a professional driver and you have people that have high beams a one are there for blights are out of adjustment in a picture eyes that's why don't like driving at night maybe less traffic however people do not consider that their lights are bright in the hurt that 1 coming trafficked driver's eyes release your consider it going fixing the problem keep up the great work
Why do you have strobe lights?
Did you get rid of the ranch hand bumper in this video when you changed sponsorships?
👍
Just and FYI Rigid has a DOT fog light that has a very crisp cut off line.
I have them on both of my vehicles and never get flashed.
They also have a none DOT fog light that will blind people.
The Rigid DOT fogs are not cheap tho. Around $230 a set give or take.
I thought there was something with fog lights being amber in color because the amber color would cut through the fog better or am I just holding on to an old school rumor?
I do like my J.W. Speaker lights but man are they expensive.
BIGGEST FAN HERE
thanks
Big Truck Big RV your wekcome brother
Do you have the video of the light beam at night ?
I believe it was the video right after this one
I'd like to see them in fog.
i know you’ve changed bumpers already, but did you ever have any complaints about these lights?
Nope, they work great and I transferred them from my old bumpers to the new ones.
Big Truck Big RV Thank you for the quick reply! I just ordered a fusion bumper and am going to order these lights.
Great video, I wanna see them at night, have you done a night video? I could have just missed the link if you did already
Here's a great write up by an engineer guy on a Tacoma forum. He goes over LOTS of SAE compliant fog lights in detail www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-led-sae-j583-fog-pod-fog-light-review.554813/
The Rigid Industries DOT sae fog lights are superior in output to the pods you purchased
not sure I agree. I've seen both in action. Perhaps I'll do a video on both. Rigid makes a very good quality light and I would say that Rigids are superior in quality, but not output. The Rigids use 4 3watt LEDs with a taller and less focuses beam (which means you lose lumens on the blead). vs the single 10watt CREE that these have with a much tighter focal beam.
I watched a video of side by side comparisons of Rigid vs about 6-8 Cheapo units.
He did a REALLY good job aiming lights at a building and did not mess with the camera.
Some of the cheap lights were as good and even out performed the Rigid.
Many comments asked about the 'others'...he would not divulge the names.
In fact he said something to the effect all the lights were given to him by a light store and after his test they quit stocking everything but Rigid.
Are they still holdings upm or did they develop condensation and die?
No problems with them at all. Still look great.
@@BigTruckBigRV awesome
I just discovered these
I have the 3in novsite SAE fogs in route
Thinking about trying out the SuperBriteLED SAE fogs or driving light out also
@@BigTruckBigRV curious is the lens flush with the rim/housing or does it patrude past the housing?
Asking as id like to install either amber(rain/fog) or green lens(snow) pod covers on them!
It's a 44 foot bath and a half I upgraded the generator Trish said they've never sold one like that before
Big Truck Big RV I don't care to be in the video just go shoot it like you shot the last one you're the only reason I even knew they existed they ought to give you a commission
lol I agree. Thanks for the kind words. Want a shout out in the video?
Big Truck Big RV yeah that sounds great thanks
so how they holding up so far? thanks
perfect No complaints
Watch your video on a drv at Bishop's RV made me order one from them just came in Tuesday like for you to go take a look at it may be interested in shoot a video on mine before I pick it up Friday thank you
You said you would take night time shot? That's the only reason I watched it through.
Morimoto XB Fogs FTW
Where are the night shots?
Is your bumper powder coated or just paying it?
Base coat clear coat. The best finish you can do.
Back from holidays and wanting an American rv I saw in loch lomond . All donations welcome
I can't stand some or most of the newer vehicle headlight's with these LED bright arss lights that blind my old eye's. I'm so tempted too turn on my 22" LED light bar, just too see how they like being blinded by on coming car's.
Whats better ford or ram 3500
Tommy's Farms Honestly comes down to personal preference. I’m a ford guy but I think that the ram has better interior.
H&P Customs which one is more stronger for towing?
Tommy's Farms: both amazing trucks. Can't go wrong with either, or GM trucks for that matter. Comes down to features really.
Big Truck Big RV which one would you perfer?
The best fog lights are (selective) YELLOW...
skip to 1:00
my low beams and fog lights are brighter then my highbeams lol
john russo Same here, and mine are all stock.... I get flashed all the time. My high beams are useless.
i have HIDs in my headlights and fog lights i had to tint them both just to reduced some of the glare. but i still get flashed at when i had normal bulbs its just cuz a trucks headlights point right through the rear window of a car
First!
Thanks!
