Man those are really nice. I have a few cows along with all my dads so always have something to tie down like a cooler and i think this would be a great addition to my truck. Thanks for the review!
Our ambulance company used to give out bags of candy to the nursing staff at the hospital's we would pick up and transport patients to until that gesture went unappreciated.
Great video! I installed mine today, and wanted to pass along a few comments. I have a 2019 F-350 with the 5th wheel prep package. Since you filmed this video, Builtright made a modification to the driver side bed panel to allow it to fit around the 7-way 5th wheel connector. For trucks that don't have the 7-way connector, they include a small panel to cover up that area. Also you won't need any additional brackets for the tie down hooks. I did have one issue, I had to swap out the hex head bolts with flat head bolts that secure the 7-way connector. Also I had to use a step bit to enlarge the 4 holes for the box link mounting location on the driver side. The passenger side bed panel went on without any issues. Also, if anyone has the M Series Roll-N-Lock bed cover, you will need to cut a notch in the very top on the bed panel, toward the tail gate side. A standard hack saw will do the job just fine. This modification is needed because the main bracket securing the top bed rail of the Roll-N-Lock cannot be relocated. So far I am very impressed with the product.
Awesome product! Have you considered maybe using the OEM Waterport bracket on the rack and using bolts to secure it to there and then it would free up the grips to use on the other side for other things. It seems the the OEM bracket would be better at holding it. And with the extra clearance the rack gives you between the fender well and the tailgate the waterport bracket would fit nicely in the same spot or maybe just a little higher.
Oh man that looks awesome! I have a 2021 F-150 with no bed liner or box link brackets yet. I’m getting a spray in liner soon, and I was considering ordering the factory box link brackets and cleats to install myself after the bed gets sprayed. Now I’m considering adding one or two of these. So awesome that you can still mount the box link brackets on top of these panels, too! Thanks for sharing! Liked and subscribed, much love from Texas!
Always use the blue painters tape to keep from scratching the surface all up with the jig saw! Some people put the tape on the jigsaw shoe but I don’t like that because if a forget to pull it off of the shoe for days or weeks it leaves a sticky surface!
So glad you did a review on these. Been looking at them myself. Check out builtright back seat latch. It's a nice little upgrade as well. Great review video, keep em coming!
Pretty cool I wish they made them for around above the wheel well section I have my super duty turned into a repo tow truck and I have swing cases on the ends for my chains and straps stead of having to climb in to the tool Box You just pull a lever and the case will swing out to the tailgate 180゚ but those rack systems would be nice to hold other equipment like L bars and Pry bar so they werent bouncing around the bed
I just got a 2018 f450 after upgrading from a 2017 f350 and I totally see no use for this product. I will save my money to buy that Reese goosebox instead. thank you
Ford Ranger2004 // Use a Walmart NEW (never used) insecticide sprayer for $30 and mount it to the side... accomplishes the same thing. I use one to wash dishes and clean my hands off grid.
Boy, plenty of ignorant haters on here. Too bad you don't have a Ford and see why they're still #1 and would shut your mouths for a change. I have almost 250k miles on my Super Duty and love it to death.
Thank you. A lot of immature children here who clearly feel inadequate with their purchase and feel the need to sling mud to make themselves feel better.
Personally, drop the "pretty" cutouts & save some money. Maybe I'm missing something here, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but once you attach the attachment holder they seem to be "fixed". Basically, once mounted, the are there unless you remove the rack & move it. Thanks
My son completed recruit training at Parris Island and when we went to the museum after, my woodland cammies were in a museum case, more sad, there was two more recent displays before they displayed the modern stuff! I’m Old, but still a devil dog.
I noticed this video is 2 years old. Are they still made only for the F series? Something like that could be ideal for holding scuba tanks upright in my GMC....I’ll look for the website.
Where is the hardware coming from? The quick fist clamps do not come with mounting hardware. Suppose you just want to mount the QF's directly to the rack without the metal stand offs. Is it a trip to the hardware store?
Nice looking product. Never understand why some companies narrow their focus so much to particular make/models since it seems easy enough to adapt them to fit others (and, therefore, have them also for GM and Ram, Toyota, whatever) but maybe that is coming in the future.
Big Truck Big RV I see two new problems that you now have with these mounts. 1) You now have successfully blocked your rear LED bed lights. 2) There are new holes in the bed, where water jug thing use to be, that will hold water and rust out the inside of the bed. What are you going to do with the old mounti g hardware for the water jug?
I can't speak for everybody, but our focus is only (currently) narrow because of the cost and resources required to bring new products to market. This isn't some big business effort - we're a very small business that's be around for about a year. That said, we're working through development and testing of kits for the current model GM and Dodge trucks.
I know this is an old video but it’s great for a great product I’m going to order from BuiltRight BUT where can I get those bungee things you have in the BoxLonk tie downs ??? THX , love your channel & videos
I want these!! I have a F150 and didn’t get the tie down brackets on each side. I had Rhino Lining but in after market. They didn’t cover the screw holes when spraying the lining in. Question; Is there threads in the 4 holes? -or- Is it built just to have the screws make their own threads during the bracket install? I’m sure some spay lining got in the holes, I guess? Any advice or opinion would be great. Keep up your great videos.
Hey there - in every truck that we've seen, there are threaded inserts behind those holes. The screws should not need to make their own threads. Hope that helps!
What a great idea, now Ford owners have somewhere to safely secure fire extinguishers, road flares, bunji cords to secure the plastic bed side tops, cell phones to call tow truck, water bottles for walking through the desert, gloves for pushing on frozen/scalding tailgates, hari-kari knives, emergency rations; and a go-pro to record the whole thing.. novel invention...
Nice video but I have to admit I dont see the advantage to what you did. The water tank looked quite a bit more sturdy on it’s mount. I like BR, they make good stuff but this install just baffles me a little
Thanks, the best part of this video is that I learned that I had a switch for the lights in the bed of my truck
Lol I watched it because of your comment I wondered where that was
If you have a Ford truck, you'll love BuiltRight (for all the products they have for trucks) 😅
Very cool accessory. I love that water tank. Every Truck and SUV could use one of those.
Man those are really nice. I have a few cows along with all my dads so always have something to tie down like a cooler and i think this would be a great addition to my truck. Thanks for the review!
I have the built right strap for my back seat in my 150 and love it. Loved it so much I bought a couple as gifts..
Bought one for my 2020. Didn’t fit with my having to slightly modify it. Not built right in my opinion.
Really like the built right gear.. great video and install appreciate the effort and time you put into your videos thx..
great video, thanks. I'm going to put those in my F-150 and may need to make some cuts. Thanks for showing how you did it !
Now I have a sweets craving. LOL.
Good job & nice product 👌👍.
Our ambulance company used to give out bags of candy to the nursing staff at the hospital's we would pick up and transport patients to until that gesture went unappreciated.
Sad
thank you for showing the actual install.

Owning a truck just gets better ans better.
My wife really loves your work bench Good job with the tutorial
Thanks for sharing this great video
Love the rear seat access latch.
Looking at these for setting up our new F150.

I don't own a truck, but I bought this for the jaw-breaker candies.

Not sure??!! Nice!!
Nice accessory.
You find alot of very cool stuff.
So glad you did a review on these. Been looking at them myself. Check out builtright back seat latch. It's a nice little upgrade as well. Great review video, keep em coming!
That water tank is a great addition!
Bought their stuff, good customer service
Personally I think if it was "built right" no cutting would be required!

I have Been catching up just back from a no WiFi holiday .
Great idea.
I just got a 2018 f450 after upgrading from a 2017 f350 and I totally see no use for this product. I will save my money to buy that Reese goosebox instead. thank you
Nice set up. Wish they could fix my whole truck.
Dammit, man! Another MUST-HAVE that I didn't need before I saw this video!👍 and I still need that water tank set-up!
Ogre Dad have you seen the new water port? They upgraded it and you get all mounting options with it. I have the same one he has. I really enjoy it.
I must have missed the water tank video(s). what does he use that setup for?
Alex Foster its three gallons of water that's pressurized. So you can wash dogs, take a quick shower, rinse your bed out. Comes in handy
No, haven’t seen the newer(?) version. Saw his video on this tank while back and added it to my list of must need!!
Ford Ranger2004 // Use a Walmart NEW (never used) insecticide sprayer for $30 and mount it to the side... accomplishes the same thing. I use one to wash dishes and clean my hands off grid.
Cool!

Thank you. A lot of immature children here who clearly feel inadequate with their purchase and feel the need to sling mud to make themselves feel better.
With this setup I wonder if I could find a way for it to hold my emergency toolset I tend to use frequently at work.
Sounds like you just need a normal non emergency toolset lol
Personally, drop the "pretty" cutouts & save some money. Maybe I'm missing something here, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but once you attach the attachment holder they seem to be "fixed". Basically, once mounted, the are there unless you remove the rack & move it. Thanks
I saw the whole video and still don’t know what it was
I’m with you, what is it, just a random mounting bracket??
Cannot get off the seized bolts that connect the tie-downs to the side of the bed.
Hope the Chevy/GMC series comes out soon.
I'm curious if you could get away with just 4 of the small panels vs the large panels on the rear. Ordered my 19' F350 last week and can't wait!
They would definitely fit and we have a lot of customers that do this! Congrats on the new truck!
oh, I thought that was the Heated Tailgate Grid, you know for when your pushing it down the road. some candy while waiting for the Tow Truck...lol
Is there anything like this for Ram
Real nice work bench. Why you working on a quartz counter?
If I tell them it’s for a super duty then they should cut it to fit for the money they are asking for this!
Whats the biggest reason to have the waterport?
Just curious tobhow you got into this, with your truck and all? Big truck rv
Molle?? No friend. Alice was my girl while I was in the Army.
Aarin Jacobi IAM SURE HE WAS. JUST KIDDING. LOL
Aarin Jacobi Same here and that Damn Jodie was always chasing after your girl the sumbeech.
Aarin Jacobi - Elderly Alert!
We have a code grey!
My son completed recruit training at Parris Island and when we went to the museum after, my woodland cammies were in a museum case, more sad, there was two more recent displays before they displayed the modern stuff! I’m Old, but still a devil dog.
I guess the water port is for when your Ford overheats.
Or catches fire....

Hi....where did you get you water storage unit?
I guess, too each there own
Did you have to pay extra for the mounting hardware or did that come with
where did you get the water tank in the back of your truck just bought a slide in camper and that was what I was looking for for sink drain
www.thewaterport.com I believe theres a coupon code also BTBRV
Nice looking product. Never understand why some companies narrow their focus so much to particular make/models since it seems easy enough to adapt them to fit others (and, therefore, have them also for GM and Ram, Toyota, whatever) but maybe that is coming in the future.
it is, they started with Ford because of the Boxlink mounts
If they come out with a setup for the 05 style super duty ill be first in line to buy one. Very cool setup, gives me lots of ideas
Big Truck Big RV

Good to know. Your existing products for the Ford trucks look excellent. Keep up the good work!
I know this is an old video but it’s great for a great product I’m going to order from BuiltRight
BUT where can I get those bungee things you have in the BoxLonk tie downs ???
THX , love your channel & videos
I like your videos but it seemed like a lot of work when you could have just moved the original water tank holder.
That water tank is perfectly positioned to be exactly in the way of a bed tie-down bracket. What will they think of next?
Put in a full size potable water tank at the back of the cab, that’ll fix your tie down qualms.
Looks like you decreased your towing numbers now by adding this weight hahaha
Nice video. Did you buy that water tang or build it?
purchased. I just made a video on it
does anyone make these for ram truck beds?
Better buy a couple extra rubber straps. They will eventually fail, especially if they are exposed to sunlight.
We should link up we live in the same city
Unfortunately those bed lights are now useless.
Hope they make a Ram and Ford model that allows for the reposition of those bed lights sometime soon.
What is this water accessory for? Not sure if I wasn’t paying attention
anytime you need pressurized water
Dude I really really enjoy your videos but ,am you have a lot gadgets in your truck. You are MR. GAGET 😉👊🏻🤷♂️
Jawbreakers? Lol
Man why can't gm have cool stuff like this
I want these!!

I have an 18 raptor with a bed extender you think It would still clear or no?
likely not I'm guessing.
do you know if anyone makes for a ram 2500?
Is it a Ford repair kit? Or a portable bike to ride home?
I love this video because I don’t have a Ford.
Doesn't hurt to dream, love love love love love my f150.
Nice video but I have to admit I dont see the advantage to what you did. The water tank looked quite a bit more sturdy on it’s mount. I like BR, they make good stuff but this install just baffles me a little
Have you seen the 18 f350 mack edition it sweet
Randy Bryant Jesus it is. Holy moley, it is expensive though.
Looks nice but don't need it have a 05 F-350
What's this for?
The fact that you had to cut it to fit makes it less desirable.
Will this hold a fishing pole?
Probably could
First comment I love your videos keep up the great work
Seems a bit overly complicated...
All that for a tank?
Have a 2020 F-150 8 ft. bed with decked drawers. Why would I use any of this? Looks completely useless.
What’s the water for?
CirclePFarm: anything honestly
Once you have it you wonder how you never did.
CirclePFarm what is the water port I don't think I've ever seen one?
He posted a video about it not to long ago. Go and look in his videos and youll find it.
Could it also be a BEER port?
CAN YOU DEMONSTRATE THIS ? WHAT EXACTLY DOES IT DO ?
made a newer Videos last week.
Okay, I will bite. WTF is the water tank for, seems important. Never needed a water tank on my truck before?
How much $
Too bad you have to cut out the access to the 7 way plug. Losing the coating. Is that anodized?
J, each panel is powdercoated, but as you saw in the video, the raw edges were touched up, so there should be no issues with rust or corrosion.
It's a truck mount system. There. Say what it is in the video title or description. Wasted time trying to figure it out.
The small rubber Quick fist could hold my baseball bat while the other could hold my hand gun.
What is the Waterport?
Portable pressurized water tank
FOR HOUSEKEEPING FOR CLEANING ON THE RUN
They don't make these for a Chevy Colorado. WTH!?!?
no idea what that is
THEY HAVE ANYTHING FOR CHEVY & GMC
In development
Man you can talk
WHY NO RAM LOVE BOO
You gave up your tie-downs to mount these.
Still have my tie downs accessible.
He bought that just for the jaw breakers. Then he returned the product....
Yea u Need that water port on a Ford so when your truck breaks you don't get thirsty
Should be saving up you're money for all the Engine repair's your going to need. And the time spent looking for the one or two
year only parts.
under warranty:)
So you know its going to happen------------- A LOT
never has. None of my 3 Super Dutys have had any issues
You need to add yet
Candice, you should save YOUR money and take an English/grammar class. Just sayin'.
