First of all I just need to really thank you for taking the time to do this video because I'm having a heck of a time trying to pick which pre-order I want to do thank God for people like you in channels like this you are awesome and appreciated
I got my Fireball in the mail today and I Love it! I thought the Divo Stout V2 would be my grail knife but the detent was super strong to the point that I could barely reverse flick it. Then I thought the Griffen Co X Factor would be it, but the detent on that was abnormally strong as well. The Fireball detent is PERFECT. You can't fail the reverse flick but you can fail the thumb flick but only if you try to. The shape and weight are perfect for edc, at least for me. I don't need a 5 inch blade with 1/4 stock to cut strings off my shirt and open boxes. 😂 The 80s camo is so cool. It looks different at every angle and every lighting--and then it's a unique pattern on both sides! I absolutely love the design and this is from someone with literally hundreds of knives in my collection. I know this is getting long but finally I especially like the blade shape and geometry. I'm going to carry the heck out of this knife!
For me, the veyron is the best version. Very good, strong lock, and 2 ways to disengage, incredible. Brian is a genius who keeps making great, innovative products
The only thing I'd say to Brian is give us some new blade shapes. His knives are amazing, and I always look forward to his new designs, but the blade shapes are all very similar rectangly sheep footy styles. Gimme a pokey winterblade.
@Stassa23, the Veyron and M-Fire are oem’d by Kunwu. The Eight - and all other winter blades as far as I know - are Bestech. Thank you for your winter blade reviews! They have been the most helpful in deciding which model to oick up. My only question is whether I should go with aluminum or titanium 8ight. Thoughts?
@@Sanguivore went with the blue aluminum. The aluminum have that sweet black dlc blade coating, $75 cheaper, lighter by an ounce, and come in sizzlin colors. But you can’t go wrong with any. Unless you missed out as they were sold out in under 10 minutes on all of them. 🙂 Preorders are open though!
@@spirona That black DLC is definitely sweet. I'm debating with myself on pre-ordering one of the silver Ti 8ights. But I been saving up for a custom, so now it's an internal battle, LOL.
12 minute drop. I got robbed, had my variant in the cart, click PAY, and then get a refresh "SOLD OUT" - WTF??? fortunately, I was able to get on pre order, but damn, that felt rough. I had it in the bag, then someone swiped it.
Your knife design the Fireball came today. I ordered the 80s camo. It is an awesome and beautiful knife, and the action is smooth. Wanted to let you know how great it is.
I got one - blue factor 8eight (aluminum). I almost missed out. Titanium 8ights were gone within 5 minutes. All other 8ights were gone in under 10 minutes.
There is nothing on the market like any of the winter blades. When you combine the materials, fit/finish, and most importantly the innovation, the pricing is very justified. if this were made in America by any company - let alone benchmade - It would be $600 plus.

Just when I thought I could talk myself out of not NEEDING one of these knives. Thanks a lot! :))
Way out of my price range but seriously freaking cool!
Absolutely love this knife disappointed I missed the drop. Love your videos

I would love to see a reverse tanto, a trad tanto, and harpoon drop point. I agree shake it up!

Ti for sure!

Question for you, size wise would you rather edc the new Factor 8ight or the original Factor you have?
I'm also curious!

these look amazing

Don't think stassa has his own knife design yet, I could be wrong but the fireball is from divo knives
@@xFTSreflex Divo made it but it's his design I believe
@mattisking oh wow that's awesome, gotta add it to the list now. Love when creators get to bring their design to life!
@@xFTSreflex same here! Have you seen the Excalibur?
I’m going back and forth between the 8ight and M-Fire. I don’t have a Factor so the 8ight is winning by a hair.
I just got this tonight
Interesting 🤔
But $350? I want it, I want it a lot, but I am a poor now cuz inflation. They will likely sell out by Noon tomorrow.
edit - Noon Thursday.
400 of each new model and 150 regular factors, might last till the weekend but we shall see.
They lasted about 1 minute. I barely got one in.
@rhodesianhunter9360 yes, I was there on the field lol managed to snag all 3 new models and a b3! Hope you got what you wanted
I got one - blue factor

Can you check out the Kershaw Emerson CQC 4k-XL in D2 steel?
No
"D2" is a joke
this knife or the factor if you could only PICK ONE for life?!
They are pretty cool but overpriced. The blade is a very useful design except it can't pick into things (no thin tip) and they have a Cybertruck vibe.
To much $$ for what you get!! Is winterblade a sister company of benchmade by chance??

Need me the 8ight, aight?
Sweet knife but way too big for you. Hit up your boy I’ll take it off your hands brother. ❤
I'm waiting for them to have lower prices and maybe some clip point blades and tanto blades.
To damn expensive. Spyderco older models rule. Personal opinion only.
You always do a great job on your reviews, but I have no interest in these types of knives. Thanks
Why type of knives?
