Today we did the install of our 10.25" Android Screen in this A45 AMG, install was very straight forward and it has really brought this 2014 beast up to date!

best video I found about mounting this! very nice work mate! I am going to try this tomorrow. Only thing I am not sure if you avoided connecting the video input on the left because you don't have a OEM retro camera, or because it just work out of the box with the other wires. Also I'd be curious to know why the speaker is not needed, or why they added that in (it confuses me), I guess all cars will have speaker already?! Thanks if you can find the time to answer these :)
The speaker is normally for parking sensors as the stock speakers may not work with the unit probably always worth just plugging it in and mounting it anyway and for the reverse camera wire it may need connecting worth testing 1st without connecting then if it doesnt come on there will be a wire within the oem quadlock that is the reverse trigger wire and tap off that hope this helps (not my video)

I have just purchased the navifly version of this screen. I have a W176 2015, there is no AMI port or Aux port. Is this an issue for audio to come through? Or will everything just work as normal

Hey there... will this work for the 2014..E 350 Convertible..I believe the command unit is the same NTG 4.5 (chrome around all the buttons).... Did you have to install the AUX cable.. I did not see it in the video?

How did you get the factory microphone to work?
How I can make the dvr function to work. ? I add an sd card and still I don't have any command to start recording. I instal 2 cameras ,one in rear side for reverse and one in front on dvr rca port. I can see the images on screen but I can't make it to record.
On the factory unit I'm able to listen to the radio with the car and power off can I do that with this

I have an android replacement for my display I can't find any aux or mmi input. In glove box there's only some flat and wide input which I cannot even name, and only one usb input in underarm box. Any help?
Installed this screen the control knob works on android screen but not on the ntg menu, used to but just stopped on ntg all of a sudden? Is there any settings for this?

Hey mate, I first tried without AMI and didn't work. Now with AMI my unit works for a little bit and then the command shuts off compeltly. I have no idea what else to try out. I am not sure where to connect the cable. I had an audio in and out on my harness and I just unplugged them and put the AMI in between to the middle console

Hi, to pair a mobile telephone with an E Class A207 do you run both bluetooth connections at the same time, the factory car bluetooth via the NTG4 and also the 10.25 inch bluetooth connection on the new screen, must wifi via hop spot link to the mobile phone also need to be set up, thanks

hi, i have instolled the screen on an w176 2013 with ntg 4.5 but the central control dosent work with the ntg but workw with the android. whta could be wrong? also same times i get the fail like your video in 9:40 (not all the time). any help?

Hi Nathan I have a 2014 E550 4matic Sedan! Is anyone having a connection problem with phone calls? When someone calls me or I call them they say they cant hear me? It don't happen all the time, but it does happen and they have to call me back, or I call them then it's clear? Is there a setting on my iPhone 12 max pro or a setting on the Android 11 that will fix it? I had the front camera put on my Benz and when I put it in drive and the camera was scrolling but there was a setting to fix it so Im wandering could this also be a setting for the phone calls?

Hi, i have the same, but the audio doesnt work. I tried in the settings Aux to manuell, and in Ntg mode aux too. But no sound. I Connect the bluetooth with the system, also here no audio..what i make it wrong?
In a CLA, with dsp box, and without usb aux adapter, system, Ntg5 is it possible to place the 2 usb ports on the center console, without making a hole or having to drill?
Or they have to stay in the glove compartment
You can run them into the centre console without any holes you’ll just have to find a clean entrance

Does this work for a 2014 CLA 45? And does the steering wheel volume buttons work? Also, do i have to plug my phone up to anything to use the bluetooth music function? Lastly, is it easy to use?
not only works in the CLA but would be a great addition to it. Yep factory buttons all work. Phone works wired and wireless :) and very easy to use.
I can't hear music when played through the aftermarket system.
When I play music via Bluetooth or usb etc. It shows up as playing on the screen but no sound.
Super video buddy! CONGRATS! I have a question: my A-CLASS W176 does NOT have AUX or AMI port, only USB, is that a problem for AUDIO or I can do it later in new screen parameters digitally?
Thanks! First we might have to activate AUX in engineering mode. if that fails you will need a usb to aux converter

Chears Guys , need some help . Just instaled mine on A200 2015 . everthing works just fine but no sound on the device . I m able to get original radio sound , it shows on new screen but no sound from other apps on the new device . supplier say plug on Auxiliar . My car has no auxiliar connection . Any good advice how to solve it . I m in Brazil , so dont thell me stop buy and we ll fix it ! lol lol . tks for the help guys !

It should be connected along with all your connections.. If your not seeing your rev cam then on.. Go into the settings(1314) / factory / display.. Try the diff op based on your command system

Speaker not needed. Cables reach the armrest yes.

Hi so I have one question, the factory stereo on my a class never remembers the last song played on my ipod and reverts back to the first song on the ipod which is so annoying. Will this be different as its aftermarket thanks

I love mine 12.5 inch in my a class its the pefect size. And you can still see easy the parking sensor display on the dashboard to.

how does Android Auto look on this screen? is it full screen like Apple Carplay or is it restricted to say only 2/3 of the screen?
Thank you. AA doesn’t look as good as carplay and usually it’s stretched but the apps don’t look as good stretched

Hey Nathan, i got the unit off you and have recently installed this in a 2014 CLA200 which has the same config as the A class in this video. I did everything you told me to do (even moving the fiber optic cable from the old quad lock to the new one) and I'm only seem to be getting audio through NTG mode. When i go back to Android i don't hear any audio at all. Do you know what can be the cause of this?

Good video, helped me a lot with my installation. One question though, I can’t get any sound to play through my factory radio from the android screen. I don’t have the fibre system, it’s just basic speakers powered by the Mercedes head unit. I have a 2015 A45.

Just recently fit one up in my pfl a45. Loving it but the only issue I'm having is that the only sound I'm getting is from the ntg system. No music apps or videos have any sound through the android unit or android auto.

Yep you can get any app you like. We can do it in Melbourne and we have Install partners in Brisbane

Go in the factory settings, activate aux and select in in the car menu. Factory setting code is 1314 for youre new screen
After disconnecting my battery my screen no longer has any sound and the ntg menu is just a black screen. Any way around this. Thanks

For anyone having issues with the carplay not connecting sometimes just go to the tablet SETTINGS -> Wifi and connections -> hotspot -> Make sure it's active and on 2.4 ghz. sometimes it's not working in 5 ghz and that's why it does not connect.
