I really admire the way he never launches into an answer when a difficult question is posed. He takes his time, reflects and then answers intelligently. I need to adopt this trait. The whole pause, reflect and then answer. I'm sure the world would benefit if everyone took that extra pause.

I read this quote first time 10 years ago, and then read it multiple times over the years. Each time I read it again there is a new depth of understading to it.
We should follow our hearts. The mass has always been wrong. Look at Jesus and all the great saints. Most of us can not accept truth in real time. It is always after the fact and by then it is out dated and highly misinterpreted. Be happy that we can appreciate these teachings when they are still fresh. Osho said so 😉.

That's why so many discourses on Tibetan Buddhism, Zen, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Kabir, etc. He knew perfectly well, the 10 day silent Vipassana retreat,, would be far more of an expansion of conciousness, than his dynamic, or other basic meditation techniques. But that was the point. He was the door. The bridge. Connecting zorba and Buddha.
