What he is talking about - "We do not learn to be responsible to ourselves" - is the reason I searched and found Osho on the internet in 1997. I found a writing called 7 Bodies 7 Chakras by Osho. I don't know if that is available anymore. I am happy Osho has blessed us with his existance and teachings. Now he is helping us from the Spirit World. That is how I see it.

I flunked first grade because adults made no sense to me.
Back then, I thought the people telling me what to do, holding expectations out in front of me and demanding my conformity, were nuts.
I think this is the last time in my life that I made any sense.
Ever since then, 52 years down the road in total, I've been trying to "do better" and I've been doing nothing but lying to myself for the benefit of other people who can't be satisfied, because there's always something more to want, or fear.
I've fought in two wars, so people like Liz Cheney can have just enough money to continue being miserable.
All of everything I've done, in order to be worth something in the eyes of others, is every bit as wasted as the next thing no one will ever care about.
Life, happens in the "now" and in what you make of it. This is what I've learned.
Anything else, any other promise, any other "value" or hope, is someone selling you something.
You are the mud.
You'd be dust without the raindrop.

Responsibility to yourself means that there is something you need to remember about yourself and to be able to hear that. If you are unable to hear it, then you cannot be responsible for yourself, therefore you become responsible to everything else. This is a common feature in life where you sell your soul to be shepherded by someone else, but now we realize that these shepherds are not interested in helping and taking care of you, but instead use you for their own ego benefit.

There may be other enlightened people alive today but they are not masters the way that Osho was masterly. Osho could connect all the fragments together into a complete picture and then make that picture transparent like a window.

Really a fantastic insight. The concept of response-abilty is, to me, one of the greatest ideas of Yoga. You always can respond to everything because our body always responds to anything. Our body is our "holy book" which is already there and it is just we need to experience that responsiblity in us. The throbbing Life in us is always responding, in union.

J Krishnamurthi is simply amazing for those who are capable of getting him...
osho gives conclusions but Krishnamurthi will help you come to your own conclusions... If you hear him you will be puzzled to see that you can't make any knowledge out of it... But definitely we can make knowledge out of osho teaching..
yes, all these nut cases are now reaching new conclusions. Both masters are different, they cater to different audience. One who can understand Jiddu Krishnamurti understands Osho also well, but the same is not true for vice-versa.
JK's exploration rather than teaching is direct, he is not beating around the bush. Osho is provocative in nature, shocks his audience into attention. Those who like provocation to have their attention osho suits. I enjoy Osho a lot, but I realize krishnamurti a lot better!
