I had a 74 gold duster, snakeskin roof and all. Had the slant six, no ac but ran like a top. Put cragars all around, aftermarket air intake and headers, cherry bomb straight pipe and a bitchin stereo with alpine 3 ways in the back. Not fast, but fun. Sold it when it started to rust out (was in upstate NY, so rust was bad and inevitable)
i had this same car as well no ac and a 318 and mine also rusted out here in Plattsburgh NY the torsion bar mount rotted out. I had it when i was about 18 back in 84 what part of upstate NY are you in?
I had a 74 gold Duster,I installed headers ,lift Kit , Parnelli Jones N 50s in the rear and 70s in the front. 70s memories 😊
My dad had a 72 Challenger and my uncle had a Gold Duster back in the day. The 70s were the best. I sure miss them both.
It is a great car and very well cared for for being from '74.

@@DaveCarpenter2112 was west of Rochester, or as we used to call it “Rot-yer-car” NY.
You could put your snow skis, or toboggan in the back, or take a nap in the back. Very dependable ride that could the road.
My 1st car was that car but lighter color 🏁🏁
KEEP THAT 8-TRACK!
Had that car only the side stripe was white. I don't really remember the turn signal lights though. Tennessee car.

Looks like it was an early 1974, judging by the front bumper. If all the gauges are working, you're out of gas!
