What a beautiful car! I have a 360 Duster in the same color. Had it since I was 15, and I'm 47 now. Would love to meet the owner in person. Great job Scottie. Hope I can show you mine one day.
What a gorgeous Duster indeed. I own a 70 340 and I can say there is nothing like these mopars , and we all love our Dusters .Thanks for sharing another beautiful classic Duster.
My friend "Doc" Wills had a green 360 '74 Duster when we were stationed at MCAS Kaneohe Bay, HI. I remember we pulled the motor in the barracks parking lot using twisted bed spreads and 8'long 4x4s then carried the block up to the 3rd floor and he rebuilt it in his sleeping quarters. My god that car was fast when we were done. Thanks for the flashback Scottie D!
@ScottieDTV Dad had all 225 slant 6's, until I nagged him to get the 340 which sat on the local Mopar/AMC dealer lot. I used the 340 to take my driver's test and borrowed it many times thereafter - great car! Man I wish we kept that baby! Thanks for the bringin' back the memories!
Nice video, thanks for sharing it with us. Seeing a beautiful blue Duster always brings a smile to my face. My first car was a '73 Duster in blue. Wish I would have held on to it and regretted selling it the very next day. Oh well, we learn from our mistakes. Hopefully...
I had a '72 Duster 340, 4 speed, vinyl bench seat interior, AM/FM, power steering. It was almost the exact color as this. Mine was called Basin Street Blue. I think just slightly darker than this one. The one car I wish I never sold! Gotta love 340/360 Dusters!! Brings back a lot of great memories.
beautiful car, my dad used to drive a 1970 duster with a 340 engine on a race track here in mexico. I really love this car and hope someday I can restore one of them, thanks for sharing a lot of nice cars on your channel.
I don't have a car, not even a driver's licence. When I was living in the US guys were telling me that 74 was a good car year. I was born in 74. My curiosity to watch this vid was rewarded: VERY BEAUTIFUL.
A friend back @ palisade high picked peaches all season to buy his duster . (3000.00) 340 teal very similarly to this car. We walked past that car everyday on our way to lunch til one day ..... Booth said I bought That duster from our lunch walk....I think he was 15 at the time (1994ish).....we all were super jealous LOL. Thanks for sharing! reminded me of some fun days a few minutes back
Wow I owned one identical to this one,but mine had a replacement built 318 in it.You surely have a beautiful one, thanks for the upload and some good memories of mine.
Amazing car! I'm currently looking for a duster a mainly complete 340 MT between 70 and 72 but hell if I could something like that kicking around even just half as complete as this 360 I'd pick it up in a heartbeat! Awesome video!
Really, really nice car! The Dusters were/are just such a cool looking car and comfortable to drive. My first car was a 71' with a 318, second was a 74' 340 (Orange and loved it). Then, my last Duster was a 75' with a slant 6 cylinder (Brown). One day I hope to get another one, a 71'.
Man that color with a 3 spd 360...rare and what a beaut. Thanks for the nice vid and to the car owner..nice job, your keeping it right and tight! I wish Chysler would make a retro RR and Duster...
I once had a Swinger 318 3-speed column, in this color. Kind of rare, didn't see many like it. This Duster is beautiful, sounds good, and probably goes like hell.
The number one thing he forgot to do, black out the grill. Of course leave the center line that connects around the turn signal lights gray. But such an immaculate '74 Duster! Hope to get my '65 Cuda that clean/good lookin' some day!
I owned a Gomango Orange 74 Duster 360(E58 360 police interceptor package) 4spd. four barrel and dual exhaust. a friend down the road from me had a Blue 73 340 4spd Duster , and my nephew had a Yellow 73 318 4spd Duster. i sure wish we had kept our cars!!!
Thanks for sharing the video, one of the cleanest cars I've seen. A-body molars own my heart lol. I have a '74 Duster factory A/C car that Is in the process of being restorized and my dad has a '74 Duster factory 360 4-speed... I guess I come by it honest
@mopartron3030 I have lived here 20+ yrs and I still have to have words spelled to me..lol..I think he said Alusa Blue..but I'm sure with a little work you will be able to figure it out..sorry could not be sure..let me know when you find out..it's a very cool color!!!...thanks for cking it out!!
IT was Scottie I keep it restored it once inside out ended up with a 318 in it factory rebuilt keeped it until 30yrs.old got married had a little girl then it pretty much got set on the back burner when it was time for the second restoration .the second motor was worn out so I gave it to my brother in law so he could bring it back alive.I don't think that happed and I don't know where it ended up but I hope somebody saw the love that I saw in it. Was tuff to let it go. In my early twentys I bought a red one just like my blue one that came with a 318 stock ac my family car.I drove that while I was restored the blue one! I was lucky to have owned two at one time! Love classic cars .

This car is the only one i’ve seen online like mine, I also own a 74 360 duster with a floor mounted 3 speed! Numbers matching, Im planing on selling lmk if you’d be interested! 13 years later…😂
I know what you mean. I had a 71 340 medium blue metallic. It was an automatic but had ordered a 4 speed. I took it anyway. I had stipes deleted. Dual chrome racing mirrors. My favorite car although my 2017 VW GLI is 2 seconds faster to 60 MPH.
Very nice car and clean as a whistle. I loved the interview with the owner as well but if I can offer one suggestion it would be to conduct the interview while filming the car. No offense to Jack but I'd rather see less of him and more of his car :) Thanks for posting.
I just picked up a 74 Duster it's in okay shape, bodies straight and very little rust, clean underneath, interior definitely needs work. Car has the 360 stripe on the ass end but I don't think it has the 360 motor I believe it might be a basic run of the mill 318, is there any way I can tell what engine is in the car? It sat under a carport from 86 to 2011 then my neighbor bought it and it sat in his garage from 2011 until last night when we pushed it to my garage, put a fresh battery in it and gas it the carb it fired up but wont run off tank. No big deal if it's a 318 or 360 as I have a 340 that will eventually make it into the car.
Dang Scottie its been a few nights and days since we spoke. Hey I picked up a sweet 83 RamCharger and if you have some RC videos or could find one to video. That would be trick. Hope all is well. RamCharger
I got a 75 Duster 360 true 360 not gonna be a numbers matching but will be put back original seeing as how it used to be a drag car. Its going through a ground up resto at the moment im going Sublime Green
Sweet, beautiful car, regardless of the late-model. I've had 2 Dusters. Still have one of them. See if you can tell me which one I kept: 1) Tan 1974 with a 6-banger, slipping tranny, dents and a miserable interior. 2) 1971 fully tubbed/balk half pro street show and go car, the same color as this one (including black stripes) with a 500-horse 360. WRONG! I kept the '71!
Reminds me of my first real car I bought 74-360 half vinaly top just like this one except mine was automactic white high rise bucket seats and interior man I love'ed that car.
Sounds like mine! Mine is Burnish Red with white interior, buckets, half vinyl top, 727 console shifter, high-performance version 360 4bbl, white stripes. 😊
What a beautiful car! I have a 360 Duster in the same color. Had it since I was 15, and I'm 47 now. Would love to meet the owner in person. Great job Scottie. Hope I can show you mine one day.

I know several local shops that do good work...what's your budget?
The 360 Duster's and Dart Sport's were probably the fastest car you could still buy in 1974 other than a SD455 Trans Am
I wouldn't argue that....

WRONG! I kept the '71!
