- Hi friends, in this video I would like to share the idea of how we could use any pressure washer without any tap connection. Thanks for uploading this video I’ve no outside tap and I’m not able to connect to my sink taps… I didn’t think it would be possible to use a gravity fed system like this… I’ll be giving it a shot first thing…
get a small 50W submersible pump , immerse it inside the water and connect the outlet to pressure pump

Why wouldn't you just use a 29 L camping jug & attach about 2 ft of hose to the spigot. Have the jug up on a chair to get gravity water pressure. In a cold climate ; you can have instant hot water in the jug & wouldn't cool off before getting to the pressure washer.

Looks like a two or three gallon bucket.
He shouldn't be running the pump unprimed, apparently that is the major cause of a pressure washer getting broken and not working anymore. He should have run the water through the washer before turning it on (like it says in the instruction manual, which nobody reads).
So with a three gallon bucket and a pressure washer with an output of 1.2 gallons per minute, the bucket should last only around two minutes or so. A five gallon bucket, filled to the top will last about four minutes or so. With a washer that outputs 2.3 gallons per minute, a five gallon bucket will only last a few minutes, less than three minutes, lucky to get two minutes before having to refill the bucket, and you can't let the hose run dry, it may damage the pump in the pressure washer.

You shouldn't let the pump in the pressure washer run dry, apparently that the the major cause of pressure washers to fail.

water tank is better or normal hose garden like this way maybe you will kill the karcher faster it will heat very fast and the motor will damage need good water flow to cool down the motor

Thanks for watching the video brother. It's 10m in length and half inch in diameter. But you can use the inlet hose that fits pressure washer you use. Please put the bucket at some height so that the water siphons down with some pressure.

You need way more pressure for pressure washing with a tornado tip man. This hurts to watch. Green tip all the way.
How do I know if a specific washer supports this?
I think this should work with any pressure washer as the water is siphoned down to the machine when we place the bucket at some height. But some of the viewers have disagreed with this.
Pressure washers with self priming feature can draw water directly from water source.

Karcher is the only brand ive seen do this. They have videos showing this and also sell a hose you can use for bucket.

most pressure washers won't run if water is not filled up inside to the pump also this is going to damage the pump as not designed to run without mains pressure . but interesting video and it did sort of work

Use this method only in emergency if tap water is not available...k2 compact has small motor so self priming makes the much less than expected so try to use tap water...karcher themselves accept this Statement that this machine is weak to self prime use it in case of emergency
Thank you khateeb. But when we place the bucket at some height above the pressure washer, the water will syphon down to the pressure washer and there is no effort put by the pressure washer to draw the water. I think this would work for pressure washers with no self prime also.

This will not work... I think better to use water storage place at a higher ground as source and gravity fed that to your washer
