Good that you were able to pull some older equipment back into service without too many issues. I did think for a second when you said bringing the old potato washer out of retirement I immediately thought of Shane with a bucket of water scrubbing potato's haha.
Way to go with the leg extensions . Enjoy watching the process develop , you are getting it done for sure . Did you change out the bearings or just grease them up since this was a short term operation .
So how many acres are there and how many devoted to potatoes? It seems to be the main enterprise? Small potatoes are the in thing here. I live not far from a seed potato industry in Australia but small growers here are in decline and cannot compete with large farms growing them under centre pivot irrigation on sand hills in western Victoria. A lot less washing. Great vlog. Camera work was very good and well edited. Thanks

Our potatoes go the the market basket warehouse in Massachusetts, they are distributed from there. If there is a market basket near you there is a chance they would be our potatoes!

Yes! Haha I named the carrousel Charlie, sometime he will bite my finger. Hahah if you get pinched you have to hit the release valve to open the clamping jaws, there is no pulling your finder out. Thanks for watching!

When I was a produce manager I sold a lot of B size in the stores I worked. Very rural area. I prefer them myself for everything except baking

When I was younger we had the potato water and we had a dryer system, it was never cold in our package shed…
