      @@DejaVueOutdoors2024 you think they’ll still be there this time of year or late ice ?

      @ I haven’t gone there since this video but from previous years yes there are schools that still hang out in the deep. If you have live scope it will be easier to pinpoint where they are. If you don’t just have to drill a lot of holes till you find a school that is stationary and doesn’t move around a lot.Secret 🤫 tip for you there is a fish crib that is sunken out in that area. I never marked it but if you can find it, there’s usually fish on it.

    Crappies are one of the most targeted species during winter. DNR needs to step up and start putting bag and slot limits on them.

    Dang, what happend to the caliber of those crappies in that lake. We used to catch 1.5lb to 2.0lb all day... we always practice c&r on those 1.5lb plus. We keep mainly 1lb'er but those barely look like 1lbers anymore...

      Nice I didn’t even know that they got that big in there. But overall it was still a fun time out catching them.

      Then they made ice castle's and covid. 2,000-3,000 fish houses smae body of water for a month. Do the math. Nothing lasts forever, especially after the internet.

      Most of us took too many of those 14:” hawgs. Forward facing sonar will reduce the size further, especially because the guide business depends upon providing customers with limits.

    I count 29 crappies in your picture. I should turn you in to the dnr!! 5 crappies is a daily limit in mn you have more than double all your limits for 3 guys!!

    • @DejaVueOutdoors2024
      @DejaVueOutdoors2024  Місяць тому

      From my understanding 10 is the daily limit for crappies in MN under the general section of limits. But there are some lakes that have 5 bag limits for daily possession. The body of water we are on from my knowledge has no special relation on Crappie besides walleye min 15 inch and sunfish limit being 10. May I ask where you get that information from?
